I'd only want to see RDJ return if it was in another 10+ years. For now the character is done and bringing him back already would make his sacrifice feel more hollow. But if he's gone for a long long time it will still feel like he sacrificed himself but allow for a heartwarming moment where we see RDJ as iron man one more timeb

I know, let his death actually be his death, if he comes back that scene would be ruined, because what made us sad is that he died, and if they bring him back, we would just see it as a normal scene that is just there to be there

3 I think strange saw Tony as a threat so he offed him AND thanos so he didn’t have to worry about them both later in the future.
And finally. Have you seen any of marvels new BS? Iron man returning to marvel wouldn’t spoil anything. Infact, it would make marvel great again. There’s no cinematic experience anymore. Everything’s just “ram a few females in” and call it a day. There’s no heart in it anymore. It’s just literal shit. The fact all the old characters have basically died, or “gotten old” or “magically forgotten about” is so bs. If that’s really all there is, then they all should’ve died at the end of endgame. I think there's no way Kang hasn't met our MCU's Tony or some other one. Here's a theory I have that would go against the comics: what if Kang, Nathaniel Richards, is actually from the lineage of our universe's Tony Stark?? Stark created a way to navigate the quantum realm and that technology evolving overtime might of been perfect years down the line by this Kang. Not sure I'd prefer that since he's in Reed Richards' lineage but still just a way to connect the Infinity Saga to the Multiverse Saga and have it be a direct link from the effect of Endgame

Tony is not responsible for creating time travel, I think he just discovered a different way to do it.
What if the version of tony that survives all this endgame stuff becomes a variant of kang, because the whole TVA idea would completely suit tony because with his own tva he could prevent everyone he loved from suffering , which was his biggest fear
I don't care how he returns all I know is that Robert Downey Jr. Needs to return and he needs to return it in some form by iron man he is amazing the shows are amazing I look forward to so many more to come with all my favorites in them

There is always a possibility that when Tony went back to 2012 or 1970’s he might have switched with a future of himself or he could of snuck out to another time without knowing. Although without the pin particulars not how this would have been done. But admittedly it be very cool with he came back from a secrete time travelling trip.
Don't worry son, the writers didn't think it through. If they would have, they should have just started with getting more pym particles from the start to stop the bullshit restriction on number of times they could time travel. Also not to mention they messed up Cap's time travel logic which even Loki's writer was frustrated about.

To be honest... multiple timeliness is basically just another name for multiverse tropes in films. Yea I know it's technically different but they might as well be the exact same thing with the way writes use them.
RDJ has been talking about Sherlock Holmes 3, with Jonny Depp as the villain. Totally hoping for that before he goes back to the atrocity that is the current MCU.

I think Tony is the most superior being in MCU,he created time travel and opened alternate realities to save his reality but kang used it for ruling all timelines by killing him.
Remember, Dr. Doom has a time platform...could be stolen Stark tech, and link all together....

They showed that in Loki season 1, Qeng enterprises. But it was a pruned timeline anyway.
That actually makes a lot of sense and it would be a smart way to bring him back and it would show how Tony knew he was gonna die
"You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain"...one part of me is satisfied that they gave the best possible ending to Tony's legacy but the other part of me wants him back... But again, it's either RDJ or no one
I keep saying, he could have uploaded his consciousness to an ai or something whilest onboard the gaurdians ship in endgame, they can find it, and he can control suits and also use BARF tech to look real

I thought this only that his suit was what held that AI/brainwave to a remote location that would build a new suit/shell tfor the AI to use with the added edition of "protect sentient beings" to its code to prevent a second ultron
that would be pretty amazing...i'd love to see that. make him live without resurrecting him but through other characters that have interacted with him in different timelines 🤯🤯🤯 that would be really cool and thought provoking. it would be also a good bridge to the comics too
Maybe the 2012 tony stark. I mean they lost the tesseract and the prisoner. Tony aint just gonna stand up and keep on walking without figuring out why his arc reactor was acting weird and loki + the tesseract, missing.
I want to see them bring back tony as an AI similar to J.A.R.V.I.S and have tony's continence brought back with one of his old arc reactors
In the comics Kang went to the past as a kid to stop his older self kang then became iron lad to defeat his older version
He join the avengers with wicken speed hulkling Cassie leng Kate bishop the patriot and the rest

I think that in kang dynasty, spider man or thor... will bring tony from the past (before he has a nano tech suit) and Kang will explain to Tony how to do a nano tech suit because Kang already have none tech suits.
So that will explain how Tony did his nano tech suits and maybe how he know thanos.
That’s not how time travel works If you travel to the past, that past becomes your future, and your former present becomes the past, which can't now be changed by your new future.

It's possible. One massive Kang story in the comics is the one where he turns Tony evil, and Young Tony comes to the present. So some variation of that may happen. Happened right before onslaught.

The reason why thanos knows who tony is is because hes been trying to kill the avengers & mess the world up since the 1st avengers movie. Hes responsible for allowing loki to get the septor & the army to control. And in the end of age of ultron you see him grab the gauntlet & say "fine, I'll do it myself". So he knew all about tony & the avengers from early on. Not because of time travel.
The line that Thanos used ‘you’re not the only one who is cursed with knowledge’ said to Tony, I thought might be a hint about him meeting Tony in another timeline and see different timelines play out.

He could, but we tend to forget that theses are actual real life, walking, talking, people that breath & bleed like we do, playing these characters! They could find a way to have Tony Stark in each & every movie going forward. But does Robert Downey Jr. want to? Regardless of what he may say to the press, he might actually be over playing that particular role. He's older now. I imagine he'd like to kick back & enjoy the fruits of his labor!

There's one more evidence that Kang said he killed an Avenger who's with the hammer, i.e. Thor, so basically Thor died out there somewhere, but here Thor is alive. So Tony here is dead, out there Tony is alive somewhere too.
Tony Stark could be the A.I. interface for Ironheart's armor.

Multiverse is the worst, laziest excuse and cash grab to any writer would ever think of. Forget about what Tony Stark’s been through, who he is, why he’s important. The multiverse means everything is possible and nothing means anything because continuity is a luxury and logic is a crime.

Stark had been studying time travel and using what he learned from in building his final suit. RDJ explains that Tony learned the real world implications of time travel, which is why he was so defensive when Cap, Widow and Scott Lang visited him in Endgame.
Save RDJ for the better time that is the upcoming Avengers film, I want to see Tom Cruise as Superior Iron Man first this time

you know if they so wanted to if they really wanted to have Jonathan Majors acting alongside RDJ because he has mentioned that he would want to at some point during Secret Wars while they're fighting I can Envision a scene where iron heart and the AI Tony could encounter Kang directly and maybe he hears his voice and Kang is like "is that Tony Stark?" I can only imagine he says "in the flesh.....well programming" and then he would be like "so you're the guy who discovered time travel in this universe?" the interaction between the AI Tony and Kang I say would be very interesting

One of my favorite theories is Ironman returning and turning to a program like Jarvis or friday and becoming something like ultron and since Robert Downey jr is old and tired of the role they could just pay him a small wage and use his voice in A.I
Tony made the ultimate sacrifice to save the universe. They cannot take that away from the character. Having said that, I am positive they can write a way to bring him back without nullifying his sacrifice through the multiverse or time travel. 🤞
One of the last What If episodes, Stark is teamed up with Gamora, the slayer of the Mad Titan. And the Watcher chooses her and says to Tony, "No, not you Stark."
I think thanos remembers Tony because of the interaction between Tony and loki. Pretty sure thanos had Loki under mind control or something. Could be wrong but I remember someone telling me something like that. So probably explains that interaction.
Random thing but You know how romanof died and they said they couldn't bring her back, well the thing is, gamore died and they brought her back, so since they now have time travel, they can just bring Tony and everyone back but because of this I think what should happen is the space time continuem collapses bring different versions if the Avenger to that universe, so now with everyone back they have to figure out how to send everyone back before the hole space time continuem collapses

Also, taking into account that when stark turned up to the Avengers headquarters in endgame he was able to guess the outcome of the avengers failed attempts of time travel(he turned into.a.baby) so I'm assuming he'd already experimented and travelled in time between discovering and arriving at the headquarters, and even faked his own death when time travelling, creating his own infinity gauntlet and doing his own snap..

I think RDJ said in an interview that he wasn’t coming back as iron man so this is unlikely
I love the idea of having Robert Downey Jr. But death has to have a meaning and I think it was a good send off for Iron Man. Maybe if we get a different Iron Man time travel has a lot you could do with. Bringing back old characters kinda makes their deaths meaningless.
RDJ can always make a cameo in the future movies because:
1. He is now A.I. that can also be summoned anytime.
2. He can always make comeback one more time by Kang’s presence and Kang himself could just rewind time to the End Game timeline and snatches him alongside with Thanos for his own plot interests. Maybe just maybe Tony could get his own deserved happy ending in his own universe by this action and not by getting him killed by suck ass gauntlet.

I think bringing Iron Man back for anything other than a flashback would cheapen the MCU more than a desk-drawer full of infinity stones.
Then again, if RDJ wanted to be the new Stan Lee cameo, I could get on board with that.
If Robert Downey Jr comes back. That'll be the one thing that saves this franchise. Because it's been dying after Endgame unfortunately. Movies haven't been nearly as good and I haven't been as stoked to go to the theater like I was before. Even so, we'll see what happens.

it's also worth noting without resurrecting him given the fact that iron heart is on its way they could very easily put him as an AI Consciousness just like in the comics. technically that's not resurrecting him either.
To be very honest the whole plot of Thanos in End Game and why Loki invaded New York could be Kang’s plan all along for him to break free and gather vassals and conquer the galaxy.
Also the No Way Home multiverse portal breaking might be his doing so he could gather all of the potential villain for his variants soldier and build the army of Kang.
Dr.Strange probably see all of this on Infinity War the reason he gave Thanos time stone and let Stark die in End Game was maybe because it was part of Kang plan that is inevitable.
Kang also probably had encountered with Stark and Thanos himself the reason of Thanos remarks towards Tony by saying: (We are cursed by knowledge) while Kang himself is always the master of knowledge thousands years before Tony or Thanos could ever put a grasp on it.
The part where Thanos said you are not the only one cursed by knowledge maybe because both of them had been used by Kang for his own agenda. Another reason why Tony couldn’t remember Thanos might be Kang erased his memory so Tony could invent that damn time machine for Kang’s own chaos interest.
An interesting thing is in the Loki mini-series Mobius tells Loki what the Avengers did(In Endgame)had to happen. So, I feel like Endgame never happened the TVA never would have been created and Kang never would have got powers.
Thano's technology far advanced enough to scan and assess Earth's knowledge and likely found Tony Stark to be the most brilliant mind of all humanity. Not to mention, Stark guided the nuke that ended Thanos's entire assault on Earth.
