  • Most players will find this pad very comfortable for pretty much all purposes. For players who prefer slightly higher speed, I recommend trying out the Hien Soft or maybe checking out the Raiden. Overall, very solid pad and extremely happy with my experience so far.

Finally sometime that talks about both the static and dynamic friction of the otsu. Some people just straight out say that hien is faster than otsu but I found that for direction changes, otsu feels faster than hien while slower for initial movements. Good review 👍

i have the otsu soft as well and to me personally it feels like a perfect pad in my opinion its the best combination between easy and fast to move but still being able to stop whenever i need to

i recently got the otsu mid and it's actually soooo nice. Glide is quite fast actually and there is very little static friction.

Very excited for the raiden review whenever you get it, I'm thinking of getting a raiden because my hien is very boring to use now

Im trying to pick between the otsu xsoft and the zero soft, but I have sweaty hands and the otsu makes me feel that more, is this true? Should I look at the otsu soft? I also find the otsu a bit rough

Me being a 17.5-27.5cm/360 scrub while using a randomizer something like the Skypad is godsent. Fighting the friction with slower pads like the Dash is extremely noticeable as my aim can be all over the place before warming up and even after that, pretty shaky. Even with Hien which i don't necessarily find much different from Dash besides being rougher/sandpapery. However, on the Skypad i am so much more stable. Probably wouldn't be as noticeable if i played on more reasonable sensitivity range of lets say 35-45cm and it is even more obvious if i play static.

      Isnt static harder with skypad?

would you recommended instead of Hien for tracking heavy games? like apex

question: do you keep your fingertips in contact while aim training?
i cant really see it in the handcams and im just curious if your have any thoughts on this.
i found it harder to control when no contact and am wondering if i should train it to gain better mouse control?
    sorry for the poor grammar
this is something i am considering right now between pad materials

Hey Matthew do you think that it’s a good idea to switch between pads for different scenarios such as switching between the otsu and Hien since they work better for different scenarios as you stated

To awnser for him yes. Not only with pads but sens to if ur trying to pb. With scenarios like 1w5ts I turn on raw accell

Should fovs change on different scenarios and also when doing a playlist run through should you do each scenario once or twice or thrice before moving onto the next one

i just got my soft otsu and is it normal to really feel the bumpiness in the texture? its like sand on the mousepad but smooth feeling so it doesnt feel bad, i dont put much weight from my hand on my mouse when i use it and i have superglides.

I had used the gigantus v2 for 3 months and it was very slow for me and I also used the razer strider (clon Hien )and it was very fast. Which mousepad would fall between these 2?
