YOU HAVE explained the DIESEL vs ELECTRIC [HYBRID] aspects of the GREENLINE YACHTS, the best of ALL other 'yacht experts' out there in the PAST YEARS since Greenline / Hybrid boats/yachts have been designed. WELL DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE GREENLINE GIVES YOU SOMETHING FOR THAT SIMPLE AND TIMELY EXPLANATION.
I love the darker stained wood in this yacht. I think it would be more fun to have an option for a bold navy & white striped cushions for seating, to give it a more nautical flair!
Excellent boat Tony! One draw back is the television it seems to be good to view if you are in the galley and would struggle to watch it else where! Unless it can swivel round which we didn’t get to see as you didn’t raise it but over all excellent especially the distance you can achieve!
Tony, great use of space for a sub 50 ft. Not sure about the fold down transom over the swim platform to produce another swim platform. Maybe if the AFT swim platform were 3 ft longer you could drop the transom and have a step down.
That is a nice show. Hi Tony, This time the Greenline 39 Hybrid and is a beauty you can sail on a motor or electric my favor will be all electric but its is a nice boat sleeps four one head and everything is electric great thanks again for this show
Awesome,Tony's back.Edit=A great ship for a cruising, fishing, and going a Great distance compared to many ships it's size or larger.I like the 'convertible' areas like the transom, and the backsplash at the stove also being a counter/bartop as it can be pinned vertical.I saw in the brochure that the master bed can scissor too. That large lazarette can be used for livewells, and coolers, plus even more batteries.I like this Allot. Thanks Tony.
Thanks Tony. I think the H-drive and electric power options are interesting I wonder if large or super yachts can function with those as well. Imagine the fuel savings
I think eventually they will! New builds take a long time to engineer and complete but over time I think it will become more prevalent. There are also a lot of unique power catamarans coming out that are covered in solar panels as well!
You said all the power will last with the solar without the engine except for the AC. If the batteries are fully charged will the batteries power the AC for a while?
Yes the AC can be run on battery power, just not indefinitely like the other appliances can. I’ll see if there’s any data out on how long the AC lasts on just batteries.
@@YachtAddiction I own a Greenline 39. You can definitely run the AC overnight if you have the single LiPo battery but you will need to charge it again some time the following morning/day. We spent a week on a mooring ball in Nantucket Harbor last Summer. We typically took her out on about a 1 or so hour "Harbor tour" to recharge the batteries for the next evening. You are correct that if you don't run the AC, the solar panels will run everything else and maintain the battery levels. The AC is by far the largest energy user. Overall it's a great boat.
These yacht presenters should stop refering to these electric yachts as "Teslas of the sea". Teslas are electric, yes, but they are fast. More accurate if they said they are the golf carts of the sea.
A very thorough review. Thanks for explaining the hybrid system in such a concise manner. Best explanation.
Glad it was helpful!

Is this the first time you edited your video?
Greenline is truly the bellwether to go green in yachting world. It's worth your effort in editing.

I am in love with this boat. I want one so bad! Only down side I can see is it only has passive stabilizer fins.

Thank you Tony! Great walk-through video of our Greenline 39 Hybrid!
I like the fact that you can single hand it
Always nice to be able to go out yourself!
I would spend a weekend on this ones. Thank you Tony.
It's my pleasure!

That is a lot of money.
Nice tour. Good to have a difference mix and flow of the tour with showing the engine before the cabins.
Thanks!

This is a very well thought out boat for its size!

Impressive. Hopefully I see you at FLIBS
🙋🏼♀️ VERY NICE (SMALL) ENERGY EFFICIENT YACHT 👍👍
I agree!
Love this boat.
It’s a nice one!
The 40 Hybrid can run continuisly thr AC ??
How do you watch tv? From the galley?

Bess❤️
If I compare ( which I always do )

Not really a hybrid, but a dual mode.
700k for this? Seems a bit high for what you get
Prices have been matching demand here in the US. I don’t see prices for new or used yachts lowering anytime soon if ever to be honest!
You do have to take into account the fuel savings for the price of the yacht.
Nice boat. Ugly water. 😉
lol it wasn't the clearest I've seen
