Wasn't very familiar with Marko before this interview but he seems way better than gregg at communicating and knowledge of the game
lmao no. he was just getting schooled by japan u23 that didnt even bring anybody from europe or over 23 players. all local j league players. 😂
Good luck to you and the team Marko. Show the world who the American Golden generation is🏅⚽🏅
Even though the Olympic Games, in regards to soccer, doesn’t matter but a medal finish would be a confidence booster for us. Also, give competition to the current senior team
YES!!!!
The game against Japan made me very nervous because they play the exact same way as Berhalter's
No Diego Luna or esmir, nice man! Way to run them off from USYNT
The last game against Japan, i don’t feel optimistic, but I wish us well for this Olympic squad! 😊
Exactly because right now Greg doesn't I hope Marko blocks his number😊🤣😂
Where was it aired?
Diego Luna should be on this roster
What needs to happen is for each team to develop their own tactics with their coach. The fact that even the Olympic team is mandated to play 4-3-3 Gregg ball is ridiculous.
If luna isn’t on this team imma cry😭
If he does well i could see him moved up to take the USMNT for 2 years.
This coach keeps talking about having the team play “the way we want to play,” essentially having the players adapt to the system that USSF wants to execute rather than forming a system out of the talent that you have. Such a flawed approach that didn’t work with GGG, and won’t work with this Olympic roster
Who cares?
USYNT was using the USMNT same style of play in the Japan friendly a few weeks ago. It's the same old system. Same results and same old story.

It's the same US Soccer tactics.
Go watch the 2019 U20 World Cup when Tab Tamos was the USYNT Coach. Watch the game against France, either the team won 3-2, the tactics were too predictable.
@@slayer8546right... Gregg doesnt exist in the National team anymore, but his philosophy and tactics have trickled down to the U-23 squad. Plus the youth system does have MLS-lifers within the squad so im not confident in what theyll do in Paris.
Great with the Olympic team but don't let USSF distract us away from the USMNT either via the olympics and the fact that Berhlater still needs to go!
The overage players I want us to bring is following Balogun Gio Reyna Tim ream
Gio and Balogun are age eligible (so are a lot of guys from the Copa America roster). But won't be going. I could see Pepi get picked, maybe, but clubs aren't required to release players for this tournament if they don't want to.
Balogun and Reyna were born after January 1, 2001 so they actually fit under the age limit
