Herv Reynard, has had success at the National Team level in Africa and w Saudis. He's a very good national team coach and he looks like a Bond villian.
Fans gonna get hyped for Klopp then the ussf will hire Cherundolo in a couple weeks 😂😂😂😂
WTF are you smoking? Everyone knows it'll be Peter Vermes!
Cherundolo would be crazy to take this job now.
Klopp is already out now, but at least the USSF inquired. So that makes me hope that the USSF is looking for a higher quality coach. So I hope it is not Cherundolo.
Still an upgrade on GGG
lol that’s a fact
they hire from MLS and we'll still be a minor league team - gotta get a manager that will demand a higher level of individual skills and team tactics. Nobody heard of Roberto De Zerbi until he turned up the heat at Brighton. We need someone like that.
I don't think the USMNT job is as attractive as these guys think it is...
Who would want this job with fans like these?
exactly
Believe it or not European fans are faaaaar worse. Fans caring just means the sport is growing. The job is more attractive than it's ever been. You get a home WC with auto qualification, a young team full of Euro based talent, and a long leash from US soccer with somewhat low expectations. If you think USMNT fans are bad you haven't been following soccer very long
@@SortOfEggish what have fans been saying other than "Get rid of Gregg"? I don't think there is a problem with fans but these pundits seem to think the position as USMNT manager is attractive to the elite. Jessie Marsch would have been the best/most experienced choice they could have got, but that ship has sailed for now so will probably have to look to MLS again
@@SortOfEggishfans like what exactly?
Herve Renard is the best realistic Manager.
Herve rennard, David wagner, Pellegrino Matarazzo, Wilfred Nancy
The next USA coach is going to be some random dude from the MLS
Not random, Steve Cherundolo
Was thinking some high school coach. 😂
@@louiedajetsame thing
If it's Nancy, I'm not mad about it. Cherundolo, I'll lose my sh1t.
@@kentgrady9226 BOTH wil fail. NO MLS!!!!!!
Klopp said no thanks
Question is, does an elite coach wants to take over the US.
No.
Low is the only one I see as at all possible from those listed.
At this point, why not include Jesus of Nazareth as a choice since y'all setting up unrealistic expectations?!
Best comment ever...
Yeah Xavi with a midfield with Adams and Mckennie lol?
Sounds like a recipe for disaster 😂
Bill Belichick or Nick Saban
Shi we going to the Super Bowl
2:35 😂😂😂 so true
The way the US played against Panama, down a man, was reason enough to fire him. Not to mention the dozens of other reasons.
Ralph Ragnick isn't a bad option honestly
I want Big Sam. Our attack in the world cup is non existen. Might as well get a manager who can park the bus and knows how to survive.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Fans with ball knowledge will pick Rangnick
Gio van Bronckhorst wouldn't be a bad shout either, he brought Rangers to a Europa league final, or Montella who's coaching the exciting türkiye team
These are the ones USMNT should realistically look for.
Rangnick would be ideal especially if he would be tasked to come up with a long term plan for US soccer to develop. He is one of the most influential people in European soccer when it comes to that.
Agreed. Big Sam can get us to the quarters @@zacharybinx5443
Yogi Loew picks his nose and scratches his balls when he notices the camera on him. What's not to like?
if he is available it would be a good hire and a realistic one
Mature comment for a Brit 👍
Well, Americans are weird. I'm pretty sure they didn't hire Jesse Marsch because he wears those skinny jeans 😉 What would they do with a guy who picks his nose and eats it on camera?
😕Yogi Loew? You mean Joachim Low.
The coaches mentioned, apart from Ralf Ragnick, are pipe dreams. A coach needs a meaningful challenge, but these other coaches gain little from a stint as a USMNT coach. Ragnick is the exception. Realistically we should expect, at best, a solid Euro coach who can make a statement about their abilities by bringing the team to an impressive level.
Rangnick still has a contract with austria until '26. Did I miss something?
@@justanothername5199These guys don't know ball lol
Joachim Löw and Hervé Renard should be the the bar. Let's not stay in the MLS American manager pipeline
i think Jorge Low will take the position if the offer is good.
Hopefully, the offer is not too Löw…
@@juanroldan6579 🤣
🙄Jorge Low he’s not Latin he’s German so it’s Joachim Low.
These people are insane. Not one of those managers would sign for the US little team. Get real.
More realistic than klopp for usmnt 😂
Southgate is now free and the US should go for him. He’s a pragmatic coach who’s style might not be pretty to watch, but might suit the US better than England considering its not packed with quality. He’ll make them a lot tougher to break down and play counter attacking football which will suit young athletic players who aren’t the most gifted on the ball.
The problem with Xavi is what would happen to Dest?
no 1 playa is that imp. /jmo
It wont be Klopp. Why would he downgrade like that? Media is so dumb.
The only international job he wants is germany
@@hashshashiinme7656If that is true, let’s hope Nagelssman gets sacked sometime between now and the end of the 2026 WC
Exactly and even he’s not a miracle worker. A club manager can buy players to make the team better, a national manager doesn’t have that luxury.
The Xavi shout is wild. Xavi thought that Dest sucked. Dest is like our most skilled player. There is no way he would have the patience for this player pool
Ralph Rangnick is a name I hadn't considered but Austria looked really good in the Euros. Come on, Charlie. He'd be a huge step up from Berhalter!
I think the more involved your key players are in a hire the better. It’s about the players at those key positions and with the most respect and loyalty from their peers. Involve them and find their guy.
Charlie walking out is PEAK. Hahahaha that was my spirit animal of a response.
Doesn’t Xavi dislike Dest like outted him publicly
Xavi like Pep is all tiki taka. They can't play their way without players with very particular skill sets. Natl managers need 2b able to adjust to the talent they have available.
Yes, Dest didn’t fit into xavi system at all. Went too far up the field
Xavi does demand respect the US players don’t need a buddy manager they need someone that with push the players.Xavi is a better coach to teach the US about vertically than GGG.
@@genzislady3820 This isn't hyperbole, TBH. I remember Xavi calling out Neymar and certain styles of play from Brazilian player.s. I thought it was a little overboard but that's who he is. I think Xavi can adjust but I almost wonder... would he be ok with McKennie? I don't know why but curious how he'd push him.
@@playedout148 Xavi is not tiki taka, Xavi adjusts to his players. His barcelona was more defensive than any barcelona of the past
Bruh, with all the glazing they do for Dest, Xavi would replace him forever with Scally. 😂
Scally is better defensively
Jimmy Conrad, I want I want I want, me me me. Jurgen Klopp laughed at them and said,
hire my brother Klippidy.
The question needs to be, do they want strictly a manager for the team or do they want someone like Klinsmann who came in and shook the whole organization up? JK did more for US Soccer than he gets credit for, probably one of the biggest was getting the youth teams on the same calendar years as the rest of the world.
He did squat!
@@ricomajesticother than qualify the team, gets them out of the group of death, wins against Holland, Italy and Germany on European soil, got the US on the correct calendar year that helped youth development, so yeah he did nothing.
Tata Martino #1 candidate
lol Xavi: "Sorry Sergino. I paid all the legal fees for Dani Alves and got him out of prison to show you what I expect as a left back again."
All seriousness... I really am interested in the Low idea.
Problem is, the USMNT doesn’t have any meaningful games before the next WC. They can play all the friendlies they want, but they mean nothing. Hard to judge a teams world standing based on that. Top football managers want to be where the best competition is and that’s not in the US right now.
He said “his pick”.😆
Xavi and dest is a bad idea
Pottechino
Ultimate pipe dream ….. Arther Blank and USSF come at Klopp with alllllllllll the money and move him to Atlanta. Runs Atlanta United and the USA team from the same town, work from home lol.
Dennis Bergkamp
Carlos Tevez?
Throwing money at a coach won't change the fact that the team is not that good. Americans think you can just buy everything. This is not nba or mlb.
No one thinks the US will win a World Cup. But we do expect a team that can compete with top teams. Manager is a good part of putting players in positions to succeed, and use their strengths. Berhalter did none of that.
@tomtalley2192 Futbol is about tradition, development, and having talent on the field. Will some top coaches find this challenge worth their time. Canada is the team that came out of concacaf. What is that tell you about Mexico and American teams. Hopefully, you are right that the right manager can get this team to be competitive.
newsflash -- u cant buy titles in those 2 leagues either :-)
Jejeje Joachim "crazy fingers" Low the next coach?
With such a short window I’d go for someone with experience coaching a national team.
What's wrong with Ralph? Ha
They gonna hire Henry
the only realistic option you guys say is lowe
Ralf lmao 😂
Austria was one of the best teams at the euro
Low, concecaio, or David moyes
Klopp declined the offer 😂
USA isn't getting any of those high profile coaches. Unlike Americans, They don't care so much about money. They want to coach at the highest level, and that's not in America.
Ralf Ragnick makes a lot of sense. Love the job he did with Austria.
I know if they hired a coach like Klopp, mls players would not start.
I've been saying Ralph Ragnik for a month.
Bob from Jimmy's Beer and Pizzeria youth soccer league.
Thierry!
See, this is why i like Nigel, he keeps it real and forces these other ones living in lalaland to come back down to earth but they dont wanna hear truths so like a diva they walk out like Charlie 😂😂😂
The usmnt needs a wc and copa america level couch no someone that is good just for concacaf standards
Herve!!
Patrick Vieira
Cmon man klopp or xavi , it's to much for usa
Nigel woke up and chose violence.😊
Charlie is out the hotseat 😂
USA try to hire Chavi AKA el chispitito😅
No way they go with an mls coach, fifa wont allow it,
World class players with MLS class manager 😂
Roberto De Zerbi
Tomas Tuchel
And...he picks for the cycle !
Xavi les vendría bien ya que no lo hizo tan mal en el Barcelona (ya que el equipo no tiene dinero hizo lo que pudo).
1. Klopp, 2. Crusty fingers and Sniffer , 3. Xavi
No. 2 will sniff the hell out of the talented players and make them the winning team 💀
Please no cherundolo hes just a berhalter 2.0 🤦♂️
Kloop be nice, please not cherundolo,no reina, lets make usa soccer team a good team
Besides klopp i don’t think Lowe or xavi speak English and speaking English is still a major criteria for Matt Crocker
Xavi can speak english
@@hashshashiinme7656 really never heard him speak still don’t think he’s a right fit
@@kristophermartins6972 i think i heard his interviews on skysport?
Glad the last dude whatever his name is was realistic about it ffs
Dont waste your time dreaming guys. We all know it will be another friend of a freind or one of the players dads. Thats what U.S. soccer is on every level. Rich kids that get to play over poor kids. or who you know qualifies you for the position not if you are the best choice.
DO not hire the ball sniffer!!!!!
Lmao xavi is Buns
This is pathetic….do really think any manager with the experience you want is crazy to get this job with that 2 and 3class players and a football as amateurish as that of the USA? Dream on and believe in unicorns, build sand castles and castles in the sky..😂😂😂
"Football as amateurish as the USA". What exactly are you trying to say here? The whole point of bringing in a NEW manager is to get a different perspective and push the players/team to a higher level?
Xavi would not work. Dest doesn't get along with xavi. Rumors says
NO To DOLO
Stay away from North or South American coaches ! The deer mentality , the too many emotions and favorites
As a Life Long Barca Fan and a huge Xavi fan. Please for the love of God no Xavi. His system is too sctrict and too focused on Possesion, We. Do. Not. Have the player pool to play his style. Same with any super possession based Coach.
You were glazing Bielsa so hard before yesterday...why not suggest Bielsa? Because hes a fraud?
Kate abdo is class but Susannah might just be world class with their commentary slight glimpses of her potential show every now and then
It’s laughable that you guys are even talking about Klopp not a chance that he would even answer the call, the standard of US football is so poor and always has been. At any given moment you have 2 or 3 decent players but have never had a single world class player…..EVER
Klopp already turned it down. Losers in USSF will settle for a MLS coach again.
Klopp👍
this all 🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢
Graham Potter did very well at Brighton and plays progressive football and is able to adapt quickly during a game unlike Berhalter. Stefano Pioli who did a fantastic job with Milan getting them the first title in 10 years but not sure if he speaks any english. Thomas Tuchel would be a great option and would certainly not be the players best friend. Mauricio Pochettino is one good option and if it has to be an American then Pellegrino Matarazzo.
Chelsea fan here…No.
You guy's need to say that USA don't have great soccer players, no their don't, some of them are just faking like they know how to play, no their not. Is not the coach, you can't have good coach, if the players don't know how to play the game the right way, you don't have a team.
Arsene Wenger.
Retired
@@dagosegovia843 He is still working. For FIFA.
Hes retired what are you talking about buddy
let's probably aim for Thomas Tuchel!!
No Tuchel. He and Pulisic don't work and Pulisic is by far the best player on the team.
WE NEED PEP GUARDIOLA
🤣🤣🤣
If you legitimately DON'T want Dest to play then sure bring in Xavi... Lol...
Dest never heard of her.
If you cannot get Klopp Yogi Low all the way! Xavi isn't bad either.
Klopp is easily the best.. The rest are secondary..
if we get klopp we going to the quarterfinals or semis in the world cup. we going deep lol
Pathetic..
Renard....just go get in NOW!
Seriously? European coaches hahaha players are terrible skills does not want to win the team during tournament anyway. Only win is Cocacaf match was weakest tournament does not growth to International LOL. Well when goes to world cup host to America don't expect too much to win the tournament
Imagine believing you will get any of the 3 in the thumbnail 😂🤡
