UPDATE: There are two more moments from two separate games I want to add onto here. Both from games I didn't complete or get to at the time of this video. The Yellow EMMI from Metroid Dread, and Sugar Plumps Death from Little Inferno. The Yellow EMMI's probably one of the more terrifying Dread chases. While White and Green are fairly easy to avoid, and Blue and Purple lets you have more then enough goodies to defend yourself from them. The Yellow Emmi, along with maze layouts with doors that can close on you, it's also lightning fast, and can easily catch you if not careful. Aside from that, basic EMMI stuff. Debatably just as maybe scarier then Mother Brain. While it is terrifying at first, and the other EMMIs are scary too. The reason why I didn't put them on here was because after a while, you can understand and get used to their powers and how to avoid them. Plus dying to them a buncha times over just becomes more frustrating then anything... The Yellow Emmi seems to be the perfect case of panic and dread the bots introduce. Might dwell on it more, but I'm considering replacing the Mother Brain encounter (and move it down to number 4). But still Mother Brain's still freaky too... Little Inferno on the other hand's a weird case. It's generally got a dark sense of humour, and some disturbing moments and connotations on the side. While there is some sense of story progression, and even with Sugar Plumps going from happily innocent to philosophical on you's odd. Still the message of her house burning down, burnt bricks and cogs coming down your fireplace, and the tense almos heavenly music mixed with screams. It all adds up to an out of nowhere intense moment, even for a dark game like this. Debatley, this could be seen as a "Disturbing moment" rather then Panic Inducing. Gonna leave it as an honourable mention, if it does count. It's moving up to number 7.
