- Super Smash Bros brought us the interesting idea of Echo Fighters, so I thought I would show my picks for Echo Fighters for characters who don't already have them.

UPDATE:
For Kazuya, since I couldn't really find any other character that used the Mishima fighting style and the Devil Gene. I went with Jin (was hesitant to pick him at first).
Similarites:
-Use forms of Karate
-Inherited the Devil Gene
-Jin played Kazuya's role in Tekken 3
Differences:
-Side B replaced with Demons Spear.
-Powerful, less escapable 5 punch combo
-Jin will use low poly Tekken 3 model (as tribute and to better match Kazuyas moves)
As for Sora, he was easier, Roxas.
Similarites:
-Users of Keyblade and magic
-Floaty and combo attacks
-Roxas is Sora's Nobody
Differences:
-Faster attacks with duel keyblades
-Elemental attacks replaced with variations of light magic and beams of light
-Final Smash uses Roxas' Limit Break Magic Hour
I love the changes you made to make Roxas feel more like himself.
As a potential full Echo alternative to your Semi-Clone I can think of no one better than Xion for reasons I will list in the Read More because spoilers (I'll try to keep it brief like you did).
Similarities:
-A Keyblade wielder explicitly shown to not just use but be very proficient in all the same spells
-Single Keyblade like Sora, same Keyblade as Sora, and retains his stance and combat style which Roxas outgrew
-Xion is an imperfect Replica of Sora
Differences:
-Something to represent the fact that she's more of a Mage-type wielder... perhaps slightly stronger Specials but slightly weaker Combos?
-Swap Sonic Blade with Event Horizon both to work in her heavier focus on Light magic and because she only used Sonic Blade under a very specific set of circumstances (probably too much of a change since there's no existing move to copy like with Chrom's Up-B but still thought it was worth mentioning)
-Final Smash would take from one or more of her forms during her Days boss fight

why so hesitant to pick jin first, kazumi has the devil gene but uses a different fighting style, and heihachi uses the mishima fighting style but not the devil gene, AND NOT TO MENTION JIN LITERALLY REPLACED KAZUYA IN TEKKEN 3
Jin used Mishima Style Karate in Tekken 3 while Devil Jin uses a mixture of T3 Jin's and Devil's movesets, so Jin works very well as an Echo here. He can also use a bunch of his old moves with Omen in the Tag Tournament titles, so it's not like it's impossible to have him be an Echo here. He'd also still have the 10-hit combo as every Tekken character has a 10-hit.
I'd argue that you don't need everything to be the same for them to be an echo. Ken has different moves from Ryu in general despite being an echo, so Jin can still be an echo while having different enough moves.
For Steve you COULD have gone with Herobrine, but the villager was a way better choice
The fact that Shadow has never been a playable character in a Smash game is shocking to me.

@@darksonicyt5430 well for brawl and smash 3ds and wii u we all thought it wouldn't be possible since 3rd parties didn't have a second rep of the same franchise they originated from.
But with smash ultimate breaking that rule by bringing in Richter Belmont and later Ken Masters as echos we all thought shadow would have a chance. Plus the Sonic series is the only 3rd party series to stay in smash consistently since brawl. So giving us shadow wouldn't have been too much to ask but because smash mostly caters to the Japanese audience and sega is still afraid to let other sonic characters be in the spotlight so getting another sonic character was never in the characters.
Here are some of my ideas that weren't featured in this video
Luigi: Mr. L (I admittedly came up with this long before Gooigi ever existed)
Capt. Falcon: Black Shadow (gives Ganon another reason to have a unique moveset)
Sheik: Impa (This was honestly what I thought your pick was before you revealed it)
Ice Climbers: Plusle & Minun (from the Pokémon games, inspired by a popular Brawl theory)
Pichu: Ukulele Pichu (The Pokémon Ranger series is represented practically nowhere in Smash)
Mewtwo: Shadow Mewtwo (Pokkén Tournament- think Mewtwo but if it was a shoto)
Bowser Jr, more specifically the Koopalings: The Broodals (from Mario Oddesey)
Rosalina: The Cosmic Witch (shows up after dying 5+ times in the same level in Mario Galaxy 2)
Petey Piranha: Dino Piranha (This one's a bit different because Petey is only part of a Final Smash in Ultimate)
Cuphead Mii Costume: Mugman (Miis don't have their own version of Echo Fighters)
Steve: Herobrine (Minecraft in Smash already broke the Internet once, let's do it again)
ineresting but the broodals only consist of 4 and that would also make topper the bowser jr of the main so they would all need one color each
@@justanothersilentprotagoni9139 I suppose it could work like how Hero is, where there’s four of them that share a moveset. The set itself could be a mixture of all the Broodals’ standard attacks
Shoto Mega Mewtwo X would be dope
Steve can go a little further. Each skin could have an alt. Steve: Herobrine eyes for all his skins basically as u said, Alex with Herobrine eyes cuz why not, Zombie turns to the Husk and Enderman can turn into a Blaze or other skinny mob to fit his build.
Impa is so weird though, mostly because her design between games is SOOOOOO inconsistent. She also uses much heavier weapons than Sheik does.
I feel like Dunban would be a better echo, considering he actually uses the Monado, I hope you just don’t mind another character that hurts themself

After nearly a year of being stuck with less then 100 views, how'd this video suddenly take off to 7000+ in a few days?
Whatever that reason may be, thank you all. It warms my heart to see so many people watching, and talking about my video. As well as seeing all the ideas for Echo Fighters you all came up with! You folks are fantastic!

Here are some interesting ideas I have that I haven't heard elsewhere.
Nintendo Labo is the most unique echo I have heard for my main Game & Watch(Ms Game&Watch is not canon) though my idea was Stanley from other of the Game and Watch titles like Donkey Kong 3 and Greenhouse, you could also pull from any of Game & Watch's attacks and have them as the whole moveset but Stanley feels like the most iconic and would be more expressive.
I had thought of a strange one for Rosalina. Princess Shroob. Compared to Peach, Shroob would work better with the energy style attacks Rosalina has and the Luma could be a Shroob which would be Groundbound.
Ridley had a lot of variations. The Original design on the NES Manual looks so different from what Ridley is now that I think it'd be really awesome to see.
Stanley I can get behind. He might be a good fit. Game and Watch without a doubt one of the hardest characters to think of an echo for. I didn't want to just a character like many people who thought of a "Miss Game and Watch", plus having him now change forms midfight made him VERY hard to pick just one.
Princess Shroob I can totally see, might even be a better choice than Lubba! Shooting piercing lasers rather than starbits, a forcefield instead of a gravity pull, and using shroobs for an overall heavier and ground focused fighter would be a really interesting take on Rosalina.
As for Ridley, he was hard too... I did look at the OG design. But I didn't feel right picking THAT variant, both for flightlessness, and parts of his OG design like one of his alts and his fireballs made it into Ridley. Plus Neo Ridley technically being a separate character made me more comfortable to pick him.
I love the video! I think in the future, you should try to mix the bgm lower, since it overpowers your voice sometimes.
I was thinking making Impa an echo for Shiek. More killing power, but slower and weaker combo game.

For Pyra and Mythra, I'd say going with Poppi makes a lot more sense than what you picked, primarily due to Poppi having multiple forms in-canon, *and* basically being an artificial Aegis in her third form (QTπ).
Basically, she'd be able to swap between her α and QT forms in much the same way as Pyra and Mythra, however these forms combined have a weaker moveset overall than the Aegis Twins. However, similar to Joker, Poppi would have a meter that builds up over time or when taking/dealing damage, which lets her use QTπ form in place of QT form, and powers up α form's attacks as well.
This is a nod to how QTπ is quite literally the strongest blade available to the player stats-wise, even if she isn't in canon, and how the Ch7 spoiler you picked as your echo is also a timed super mode in battle.

I think you missed the point of what an Echo is. It's just model swapping character with the least amount of changes which result in less dev time. Changing skeletal size and changing several moves literally goes against that principle since that basically makes them a new character and also that requires lots of work. And to clarify changing damage outputs, speed or effects doesn't require much effort, I'm talking about actual animation.
-Birdo doesn't have a tongue, it would be hard to pull of Birdo as an echo since you'd be redesigning half of Yoshi's moves.
-Wiggliyuff couldn't work as it wouldn't be able to share the same character skeleton and height as Jigglypuff. Animations couldn't just be swapped easily and at that point you'd have a lot of work be put into it rather making an actual echo.
-At this point the Baby bros couldn't work, already the Climbers are higher than the babies, but lets ignore that since canon height not always matters. But your idea of changing specials would literally make them brand new characters.
-Gardevoir makes no sense. Again, they don't share the same build, as an actual echo Mewtwo's movements can't translate to Gardevoir. Not to mention it has additions of having more appendages moving like a skirt/dress.
-Again 9 Volt doesn't share the same Skelton build as Wario and none of his moves can match which means you'd have to completely remake him to work.
-I theory Black Knight could work, the problem is Ike has lots of agile acrobatic moves which Black Knight couldn't do. So either you make something look bad or you make a brand new character which an echo isn't.
-Your idea for Rival again can't work since you'd be designing 3 brand new characters, that's not an echo.
-Toy Con Robot does not share the same build as ROB
-Lubba is the worst example yet. It has no similarities with Rosalina in terms of build.
-Same as before, Accelgor shares no build similarities with Greninja

There was no reason to do this much- I mean, can't you tell that he's clearly stretching the meaning of an echo fighter? He doesn't include Mario, Dr. Mario, Fox, or Falco because they're similar. If he actually sat down and tried to look for echo fighters that fit everything that most of the true echo fighters did, it would be nearly impossible to make this video. Most of the characters don't have another character that echo's them perfectly in every way or even near perfectly, especially within their own franchise. It really isn't as serious as you're making it. We get it, it's not a true echo fighter video, but your criticism also doesn't do much because you fail to give an example of any other character he could choose instead.

Okay, I know I am a little late for this, But I honestly think Sumi Yoshizawa Could also work for Joker since one of Joker's alt is a reference to Akechi.
Think another echo fighter that could’ve worked perfectly for Sonic is Blaze, given how she’s basically just a Sonic from a different dimension, and use fire instead of wind. Wouldn’t need to change much of Blaze’s moveset, just a faster homing attack (one similar to what she does in 06) make the side B a boost, make the up B her double jump from 06, and the down B being her Sonic Rush Spindash. Her final smash would obviously be Burning Blaze which would just be a Super Sonic swap (or they may do something different).
Shadow although sometimes playing exactly like Sonic, deserves to be his own character since he does have a lot of differences.
Metal Sonic shouldn’t be considered an echo since he has a bunch of moves that Sonic doesn’t have and also deserves to be his own character.
Blaziken could work for captain falcon. I know it’s a little odd. But both have similar body types, use fire and fight up close and personal. Blaziken could be faster (not as fast as sonic but faster than falcon) and a tad weaker (still strong, with an f-smash around Mario’s strength) Black shadow could work as a substitute for Jody if you want a pick from F-zero since black shadow is muscular like falcon, but could be a bit slower (still in the top 15 for speed) but a bit stronger (an f-smash of similar strength like bowser or incineroar).
I think that Black Shadow would have been cool as a Falcon echo, where he is essentially Melee Ganon (strong slower Falcon, but none of the magic or sword)
Captain Toad and Toadette were my idea for the icyies. Fire instead of tce for the sideB, and Turnips instead of ice chunks for the nutral B, and picks instead of hammers. The Final Smash would summon a Captain toad stage instead of an Iceburg, but would function the same (with klepto instead of a condor if needed)
Gooigi could have a paint mechanic like inklings
I think that Inteleon is a good pick for greninja's echo. Replace the multi-hit water shuriken with a single hit Snipe shot, and shadowsneak with inteleon turning invisible and then striking. Its final smash would be g-max ineleon on its snipe tower in the background and be similar to ZSS's final smash.
For Byleth, I think the Monster Hunter would be great. Spear can be replaced with the Lance or Insect Glaive, that big thing for the down air and other stuff could be the Hammer or Greatsword, Sword could be, well, the Sword and Shield, and the Bow could be the Bow, maybe with three weaker shots. For the little whip attacks, they could be a difference with those being varied throughout the move set (maybe some longsword or switch axe attacks). Final smash could be maybe something to do with wyvern riding from rise, and up B could be a wirebug that just shoots you up instead of a grapple.
The law of echo fighters is sane franchise

I honestly now kind of want Wigglytuff, Gardevoir, and Pokemon Rival added as characters now. (Also Shadow because I'm honestly surprised that he wasn't just added back in smash 4.)
I don't think The Villager would make a good echo fighter for Steve. Changing the gimmick from crafting to trading would make Villager a completely different character rather than an echo, let alone a semi-clone. If I had to choose an echo for Steve, my pick would be Jesse from Minecraft Story Mode. With better agility, and replace the Final Smash with the Formidi-Bomb.

Also some choices I'd have gone with instead (will be updating this as I watch the video):
-James McCloud over Falcon, mostly just because he'd gain Fox's blaster instead of Falcon Punch
-Dry Bowser over Bowser since he is much more iconic than Midbus and would become a glass cannon with a significant decrease in weight and slightly worse recovery but would get a faster speed and even beefier attacks
-A bit of a weird choice, but I could see the Matt Mii from the Wii series working as a clone for Wii Fit Trainer. It's not very good but we're grasping at straws here
-Ms. Pacman is in legal Hell so I'd probably go with Mappy simply because he was the 1st character I thought of that would kinda work if you changed the moves where Pacman becomes his classic form
-A Nintendog and some random pigeon it found outside could work for Duck Hunt too
I personally am surprised that out of every character in ssbu two of the modt iconic (kirby and sonic) don’t have the main and iconic villains as characters eggman, metal sonic, shadow, knuckles, tails, and the dark matter family tree. Although I do think metal sonic would be a terrific echo fighter for sonic. But personally, I think gooey would be a better fit for kirbys echo fighter, cause he was made to be a second player for kirby and has a similar look/design to kirby.
A little misinformation with Jeanne’s witch time. Her witch time actually lasts WAY longer than Bayo’s but is restricted (only activates when she Moth Withins (aka Bat Within)), idk how it would work in this game but yeah her witch time is much better than Bayo’s in their games
Gardevoir would be unable to use any of Mewtwo's tail attacks which make up a majority of his moveset. So I don't think that's a great pick. Especially since the main reason for echoes are to include more characters without significantly increasing the development time. Having to rejig all of gardevoir's animations would be a lot more work, they would also need to do something about her being in the pokeball item.
Same problem comes with making Blue have different pokemon. Blastoise isn't anything like Charizard or even squirtle and charmeleon can't do any of Charizards wing attacks meaning they'd have to make a bunch of new normals and smash attacks. The animations just wouldn't translate, at that point you'd just making a totally new character.
Exactly It doesn't make any freaking sense. Gardevoir WOULD have a totally different Moveset.
Shadow Mewtwo was the pick for Mewtwo, Although it too could have different moves (at example Miracle Eye instead of confusion)

Echo fighters were weird in the sense that they gave them a name. We always had clones, but giving them a name and able to stack them made it seem like they should have given them to the whole cast
Fun fact: Mario is the only character who has had two semi-clones in the past but lacks an Echo Fighter

Zoroark is literally the only option to echo for lucario lmao. Zeraora is a mythical whilst lucario is not.
What does it being a mythical have to do with anything? They are by far the most similar.
ROB should have a new character, ROD (robotic operating destroyer). He's just a tanky evil rob who looks like an n64

For Luigi’s echo fighter, I was thinking about Gluigi or Mr.L, his dark form from Super Paper Mario.
Honestly. I can see where that’s coming from. But at the same time I don’t see it much more then an alt costume for Luigi as well.
I think the Skeleton would be a better echo fighter for Steve because they basically have the same shape. It's also to avoid confusion between Minecraft's Villager, and Animal Crossing's Villager. Of course, the skeleton would use a bow, but would also have some of Steve weapons. The Final Smash for the Skeleton is the Skeleton Horsemen. A Skeleton Horse appears and get struck by lightning, to which the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse... I mean, the 4 Skeleton Horsemen would bombard all fighters with different arrow attacks, and after a while, all of them launch an arrow that combine together to form a super arrow that launches fighters away. There's would be a special victory screen animation if Skeleton wins using this Final Smash, showing the Skeleton surrounded by the 4 Skeleton Horsemen, as they congratulate each other for victory in their own skeleton way.
im gonna talk about Hero for a bit. I appreciate that you used Erik from Dragon Quest 11, but I feel as though Hendrik could work better. he’s a sword user like Hero (Erik technically CAN use swords, but he typically is depicted with knives) and they do have some similarities with body type since they both have long hair.
You did mention you didn’t play the Dragon Quest games so it’s completely fine lol, just thought id say my opinion. Great video btw!

@@TheChosenPrime I guess, but chrom has a unique move, I don't see why we couldn't basically switch macs recovery out for min mins and use Arans rope gloves.

9:56 not really... While protoman is an excellent choice, this spot could easily go to Bass or X. Bass would even get to use Treble instead of Rush. EXE and Star Force are also decent options, but less likely, and Volnut is a no.
Lucario shouldn't really need an echo... Riolu would be the closest thing but he would be a clone since he is shorter.

Alvis is a good pick for a Shulk echo... but he doesn't exactly have a "replica" Monado, I think you got something mixed up there. Malos is another good choice.

If anything, I’d say a fitting echo fighter for Joker would have to go to Violet (aka Sumire Yoshizawa).
Violet takes heavy inspiration from Joker already and can both have similar moves, just have Violet’s be tweaked a bit to match her graceful style and the fact she uses a rapier to fight instead of a knife and she’s obviously be able to summon Cendrillion as her persona instead of Joker summoning Arsene. Plus both characters are meant to mirror each other in gameplay, story and design so it’s a pretty good choice.
How would Gardevoir do ANY of mewtwo's tail attacks?
Also I think Emboar would be an amazing Incineroar echo.
Please play Xenoblade, it's an absolute masterpiece (and so is Xenoblade 2, and I actually like it even more, but I would really recommend you play 1 first)
Pneuma would be a good and logical choice but she's too much of a spoiler for her to be an echo fighter. I saw another comment recommanding Haze and Lora and I love that idea (they're not the same person like the Aegis but they are very close and even look somewhat similar), but I think their fighting styles are far too different from each other and from the Aegis, so I had two other ideas: Morag and Brighid (driver and blade, just like Haze and Lora, but they share the same weapon. I feel like Brighid could be the stronger one and Morag the faster one. since their weapons are whip swords, they would have more reach but be overall weaker than the Aegis. Final smash as Morag could be Brighid's level 4 special from the main game and final smash as Brighid could be her level 4 special from Torna, with Morag taking Hugo's place) or Zeke and Pandoria (Zeke being the more powerful one and Pandoria being the faster one (though the other way around makes sense as well but ULFS Max is perfect to replace Prominence Revolt). Same thing as before: driver and blade, not same person. Overall slower but faster than the Aegis. Idk how to give them different final smashes, though, no idea other than their level 4 special)
also, I can confirm that Alvis is probably the best echo for Shulk (and by the way you didn't get spoiled about anything important, there is something called the Replica Monado but it has no link to Alvis himself so you probably misunderstood something), but there is also another great option (Xenoblade 2 spoilers below)
Malos, since he also wields a Monado and some of his arts are the same as Shulk's. He's also far more memorable than Alvis, though Alvis is still one of the most important characters in Xenoblade 1 and has a link with 2 as well, so both work perfectly

I have to disagree with your choice of Banjo & Kazooie's Echo; Yooka & Laylee work far too differently to serve as proper Echoes. If anything, either Gruntilda & Cursed Kazooie from the canceled Grunty's Curse or Robo-Banjo from Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts would work better.

I feel like Shulk's echo fighter should be Malos from Xenoblade 2, so that the trio are now in Smash technically. To any Xenoblade fan, I think youd understand what Im saying and why Malos seems like a fair choice
For Byleth, I would say Nemesis fits best because they both use the same sword and you can definitely just give him the spear, axe, and bow since Nemesis commanded the original users of those weapons and since Byleth doesn't actually use them in game
I'd pick Xion for Sora. Roxas duel wields, which would change the moveset too much. Plus she's my fav.

Technically, this came out a year before Three Hopes came out. if this video would be redone or have waited for another year, Byleth's Echo fighter (if for real) would be Shez. They are really similar in many ways, maybe you can set the difference in the fact that Shez is more glass cannon (has better attacking reach but easier to push away) and the final smash of course featuring Arval instead - however, Smash Ultimate already have got it's remaining fighters already. Not to mention pressure on the number of Fire Emblem characters in SSBU.

I think Giygas fit Mewtwo a lot more than Gards, also Earthbound Beginnings needs a rep, the game is so underated.
And for Pyra/Mythra I would want to their echoes be Lora/Haze from the game's DLC Torna the Golden Country. I just love the DLC and want it to be recognized from years to come.
I have seen Giygas (Aka giygue in that game) thrown around a bunch. But I made a rule for myself to use fighters from the same series for Echoes.

I think you're unnecessarily limiting yourself in choosing someone from the same franchise.
It's usually better to choose characters from the same franchise because you can find characters that match more but I agree on Jr.'s case Eggman should be and definitely not fawful who doesn't even have a clown car

I think that Akechi is the perfect fit, and my personal pick as well, if you are going with costumes as well as alts not being aloud id say that Kasumi is a great pick as well

For Steve, I personally would have gone with Jesse, Petra, Ivor, and Radar from Minecraft Story Mode, where their main differences could be power and speed vs bulk, and their final smash could be that gauntlet from the final episode

I would approve of Zack as Cloud's Echo but Chain Slash would be too much of a letdown for a final smash, Given that you have Genesis as Sephiroth's echo, why not allude to The other first class soldier alongside those 2 and Zack's Mentor Angeal Hewley with Rush Assault? It'd certainly would set him apart from Cloud. I could see Chain slash as a side special though
Rush Assault is pretty cool and would literally be Zack just beating the snot out of the opponent with his fists. Seeing him do that to somebody like Sonic would he too amusing to me.
Personally I would've liked to play Master/Crazy hand or some kind of variant. Just a complete smash original outside of Taboo and the Mii Fighters.

For anyone wondering why Ms. Pac-Man was never used as an Echo fighter or hasn't been in any Pac-Man games recently it's quite a complicated debate you see Namco didn't make her she was made by a different set of people and they had an agreement signed with Namco for them to use her however in the 2010's some very complicated legal stuff happened and to sum it up Namco can no longer use the character but they have been trying to replace her with characters such as Pac-Girl and what-not if you want a more indepth video discussing the entire situation I recommend "The Disappearance of Ms. Pac-Man." by Jonii it's a very well made video that really helped to easily explain and understand the ongoing situation and what led to her being retired from the franchise as a whole.
Personally I would've Gone with Ethan/Lyra for Red/Leaf's echo. Typhlosion and Charizard have the same stat spread(well I haven't checked about nowadays so maybe that changed) and the pokemon could be original enough to be acceptable while being close enough that they are still an echo. Plus Ethan/Lyra in a lot of ways are like an echo to Red in story, defeating team rocket beating the same gym leaders(although Ethan/Lyra also beat the Johto ones first) defeating the same league(in name anyway) and having an asshole rival. Plus I could imagine a sweet Mt. Silver map and great alternate costumes. Oh yeah also they have a canonical battle with each other(minus leaf).

Couple notes, if anyone cares:
-I think Shadow Kirby would work better without copy abilities. It'd make him more unique, I think. Instead, more of his moves utilize copy ability essences, and he has a Dedede-esque inhale.
-Blaze would also work pretty good as a Sonic Echo, just with more fire moves. Mighty also has some potential, but that involves SEGA referencing Mighty for more than 10 seconds so it's unlikely. Shadow could work, as mentioned, but 0/10 if he doesn't have at least one gun (NAir like Joker's, maybe?). Espio could work I guess, but he'd be weird without the other Chaotix. Mecha or Metal Sonic could be fun, but would be a bit more work. If we're desperate, Classic Sonic works. Alternatively, Sash Lilac from Freedom Planet.

-Mega Man has a few more options. I think Bass has good potential, and Roll is an actual clone of Mega Man in MvC. X, Zero, Vent/Aile, Volnutt, Megaman.exe, or Starforce, could work, but might be better with custom movesets. Rokko Chan would work, but is a fan work so is unlikely. Beck would work as well but nobody will admit it because it's Beck.
-Duck Hunt, ROB, and Icies do not work for me, but I can't think anything better. I'd reference something else NES and niche, though. Balloon Fighter and NES Open Golfer fit somewhere in there. ROB could also reference Subspace Emissary.
-Mii fighters could get Sportsmates as echoes because Nintendo hates us.
-Link was skimmed over here, but there are some options for him. Main Link could get the Hero of Time, who hasn't been in Smash since Melee. He could also get Corona from Crusader of Centy, or Ravio. NES Link is a mod that goes over Young Link, and it looks real good so we'll just steal that. Alternatively, Fierce Deity Link is a pretty obvious pick (might be a stretch as an echo fighter).Toon Link often gets Tetra listed as an echo, and that works fine but she'd fit better as an echo for Sheik/Zelda, bringing back the swap mechanic from Melee. Instead, Toon Link could get the Hero of Legend, possibly based on the Link's awakening remake.
-AoC Impa would be a good Sheik Echo on account of her being literally just Girl Naruto
-Yuga would do nicely as a Ganondorf Echo, using his paintbrush instead of Doriyah.
-This is gonna sound stupid but hear me out--Vibri from Vib-Ribbon as a Mr. G&W echo

That’s fair. The more I think about it, they’re much more their own thing, with different speeds, properties, weight, etc.
I guess since they have similar yet different takes on attacks (neutral specials, down specials, final smash, etc.) I put them both together.
As for echoes for the both of them. The other Star Fox members maybe? James (Fox’s dad) is a popular pick. But Falco? I’m not so sure…
@@justjeffrey5941 definitely. I think James fits well, but he's also almost identical outside of a pair of sunglasses. An idea I has was to make slippy a conjunction echo, like take traits and moves from fox and Falco so that he's a semi clone of both.

There’s actually a funny story behind that.
For starters. I didn’t decide a definitive backdrop for my videos, so I worked on the text first.
Secondly, I thought it would save on space and be less stress on my computer to make the text on GIMP, then transfer to the video as PDFs. Problem? Of all features, GIMP doesn’t have a highlight tool! So I had to manually copy, slightly enlarge and paint black over the existing text.

I feel like blaze should’ve been an echo fighter, she’s technically sonic but in the future / Alternate dimension (Blaze’s world as its called)
She also has moves like spindash, but spinning like a top. Her neutral b could be flame purgation, a move where she moves and spins around hitting opponents, like meta knight but on fire.
I would keep her down b, to make her more like sonic
Her up b would be axel tornado, a fiery move to get her into the air, and goes about as high as sonics up b. She cant do aerial attacks, just a airdoge when doing it.
The fact that you chose ignore certain character the two Marios, the three Links, and Pikachu and Pichu over the stupid reasons that they already had characters who play like them or different versions of them defeats the whole purpose of this video and it's title! Thus rendering the video title as clickbait! I thought this was if EVERYONE had an Echo, NOT almost everyone! Also if you don't count clones, or as you stupidly refer to as "semi echoes", then how come Fire Emblem characters like Marth and Roy already got echoes officially, when they Marth and Roy were, by your dumb logic, already technically considered echoes of each other since Melee? Also, you counted Mewtwo and Lucario, even though they're technically echoes of each other by your logic's standards. And the Earthbound/Mother series characters, when by your ridiculous contradicting logic, they already have echoes, being that Ness and Lucas are already "semi-echoes" of each other.
Also, for Ice Climbers and Wario, you kinda broke the rules with them and echoes have to not only be of the same franchise as the other character(s) but also have to be about the same size and weight. This video is clearly so biased that the lack of logic that makes sense makes it obvious. Really, quite honestly, the only real logical reason that you didn't include character like the three Links is because hate them. There's no other true logical reason that. But you had come up with some bogus dumb reason why they're not included, only to contradict that reasoning later in the video.
I swear, I honestly can NOT stand the Smash fan community sometimes. Too much toxic bias! And videos like this are proof of that! It's people like you that really make me hate being a Super Smash Bros fan sometimes. People like you just can not just go one second without being a biased clone fighter hater and dissing Link simply for there being too many of him. Just because there's already too many Links, doesn't they each can not have echo fighters, especially because they're not officially considered echoes of each other. Plus, their echoes don't even have be another Link. They can be different characters like Colin from Twilight Princess for Young Link.
If you ever decide to make an updated version of this, featuring Sora, you should probably look through the OFFICIAL website carefully at who is actually OFFICIALLY an Echo and who isn't first, so that your new updated version of this doesn't rub off as biased. I'm sorry if I'm so harsh, but you need to understand that these kind of biased videos really do make the person making them look rather stupid. Just saying. Not saying you're actually completely dumb, just that this video makes you look dumb imo. There's just so much obvious bias, self contradictions, and clickbait vibes here that it just really doesn't make you look good. You may have a lot of likes on this video, but that doesn't make it right. A lot of people in the Smash community are just as bias as you look here, and it's rather upsetting!

An eraser wipes the stage and starts sprinting across the enemy(ies) doing good damage. The Undodog Undo's the stage erasure and brings it back.
However if the foe was above 90% Damage before the final smash started, undodog slams the stage into the opponent, practically OHKO'ing them.
Okay hear me out, because I’ve had the sickest idea for a Pyra/Mythra echo fighter for a while now:
Prometheus (over Pyra) and Pandora (over Mythra) from Megaman ZX
There’d be some changes, like Pyra side B changing into the beam slash thing he does, and Mythra getting more projectiles, but I think it could work.

Raichu could have been an echo for Pikachu since they're in the evolution family. Not to mention Raichu doesn't damage itself like Pichu.
Ms. Pacman representing Midway fighting Pac-Man representing Namco would have actually been badass, and a real Sakurai achievement. But due to Bandi working on Smash, they were probably the first ones to turn down the idea. Namco doesn't seem too keen on Ms Copycat's existence, and for good reason. I just wish they'd find some way to call it out so people stop thinking Ms. Pacman is a Namco property that they're just ignoring it. To this day people think Pacman is married.
I don’t understand why you didn’t use Deoxys for Mewtwo. Switching a couple of the tail animations with its streching hands would fit pretty well and there both Legendary Psychic types and also just the fact that, their both considered as a DNA Pokémon.
Now, I know Shadow was your option, but Shadow is way to different from Sonic to be a possible Echo for him.
So, I believe the best option would be Scourge (Evil Sonic from the comics), but if you chose Shadow then that's fine.
They would never put in Scourge, not only due to him originated from the comics,but because he is legally owned by Ken Penders.
I think Blaze from Sonic Rush would’ve been a better option. Scourge can’t be picked cause he’s a comic character not owned by Sega, and never made a game appearance.
Great video! Another good echo fighter for piranha plant could be chain chomp, who has more range and damage, with more end lag on his moves.
