Alaia is a real scene stealer. At the rate she's going, she will be an expert mechanic by the time she's 14, and probably running her own shop by 20! Her smile is infectious, also. That kid reminds me so much of an old roommate's 7 year old, down to the multi-ethnic hair. Best kid ever, but her mom was a complete disaster (we didn't get along much). I don't have my own kids but I definitely felt fatherly around her. Best feeling in the world.

I had a cool toy for spraying my old Sammy 4x4. I snapped onto the spray can and allowed me to use the paint can as a spray gun. No need to keep hitting a button, just pull the trigger.

From a fellow ford lover, I always prime my oil pumps before installing them, just to make sure the pump creates enough suction to pull oil from the pan.

I know I’m late to the party but little tip... those same blue alignment studs used for oil pan install work great in the four corners of the heads to drop intake on straight too.

Have y'all considered some form of dry ice / dustless media blasting since you do so much sanding? An Eastwood powder coating kit would also take the work(wo)manship level up several notches vs spray paint. (Not that it looks bad, it doesn't)

Not sure if you did it or not.. but when you torque and intake on a Ford, make sure you go over the torque pattern until the torque wrench clicks right away. It can take several passes of the sequence to actually torque it properly.
Ho-Dang! That motor looks right at home in the Boop-ster. Can't wait to see some burn-outs. CHALLENGE!!! Four tire burn-out! Come on. You can do it. P.S. Don't forget to match your speedometer unit on the transmission to the wheels/tires you'll be installing. And note that on a door tag. (Front/rear @ ?psi).
Were you using an old ironing board as a painting table? I have found those to be awesome cheap tables that store easily out of the way and being able to adjust the height is great.
An old mechanics tip for valve covers take a ball peen hammer and with the ball side ping the holes in the valve covers back where they have been stretched out or down and peen them back up. lay the edge on a big block of wood and ping away.
I feel that if Ford took the Bronco and did what they accomplished with the Mustang with its new styling Qs mixed with old that they’d have like a kickass little SUV that would sell a ton. Not like bleh styling of the Escape. But the concept we saw a year ago! I would totally get one and daily it- id also upgrade it to the gills. 5.0L Coyote with a Maggy 1.4L Super Charger. Maybe a 150 shot NOS for back up. Strange Engi the running gear and suspension. Imagine the concept Bronco with a 1.5” lift, 32” Mickey Thompson’s, roof rack with LEDs, small brush guard with winch, tubular step bars, tubular spare tire rack on the rear with High Lift spot built in? Heck yes. I would rock that every day’

Wild Horses has great parts. Been to their Bronco show were people show up with their Broncos. They are now in my Home town here in California

You should get some data plates saying hand assembled by with a spot to write in date and any other particulars
