Detective Lance was one of the hardest deaths in Arrow. Purely for the amount of respect between them. Even before he knew it’s was Olly under The Hood. He respected the man’s mission.
Absolutely their character development together is the best, and Lance was one of my favorite characters in the later seasons I cried when he died and then when they have the episode in which oliver has to understand that he couldn't stop his death oh my god was that a tear jerker as well

This man was neglected by his parents for his entire childhood, his early twenties were a cry for help, everyone he looked up to on the island has tried to kill him, and he spent the rest of his life fighting a neverending war and created a new multiverse that others will experience, but won’t even let him live or die. Barry has been through the ringer for sure, but it’s no contest who’s been through worse, especially since Barry got his happy ending.

She died in an explosion at the hospital. I think it was in the episode where Mia, William, and Connor came back in time. I don’t recall if they showed her again in the final episode Post-Crisis, but I like to believe that Oliver brought her back as well when he recreated the multiverse (at least he did in my head canon Arrowverse). She was an unofficial member of Team Arrow and deserved to be brought back.

Bruh, this was one of the only good emotional moments, but most of them are unnecessary and just for drama. They used to make the characters inconsistent and dumb af just to get more drama out of their bad stories. Mostly The Flash makes 99% of the time dumb decisions just because the bad plot needs him to.. and him never handle situations the obviously better way makes everything feel so artificial and constructed. Sad no one with more than 3 brain cells worked on any CW show because there‘s so much potential in these DC characters😪
In fact, Quentin Lance is one of my favorite characters in the Arrow series, and he is the only one who stood by Oliver at some point and did what he could for the city, and his death was very sad for me.
The character development they both had will still be an amazing thing to slowly see over the course of the season. It was a sleeper development but impacted way more than those that had more screen time.
Sometimes we don’t get to say goodbye. It makes the show feel all the more real. It makes the pain hurt that much more. Sometimes the art that hurts us is the most beautiful.
I’d say it was Season 5, personally. The first half of Season 6 was pretty bad in my opinion with the whole Caden James plot, but the back half had some heaters for sure. Quentin’s final arc alone elevated the season far above what it actually was.
I'll never understand how some people say Amell is a bad actor. This scene along with some of the scenes with Barry showed the kind of range he had. I remember the one scene that he had during The Invasion crossover where Barry was talking about going back in time to save his mother and all the expressions on Amell's face showed so much emotion without him even saying word.
My season rating for arrow ( my opinion) S1-9.3/10 S2-9.5/10 S3-7.4/10( good ideas but not great execution) S4-4.5/10(bad) S5-9.2/10 S6-7.2/10( Had a nice second half) S7-7.9/10( goated 1st half with some great fillers S8-9/10( GREAT SENDOFF TO GOATED CHARACTER)
This is exactly what my ranking would be. S8 had an immediately noticable boost in quality and I think that was due to the lower number of episodes and the concept of the final season. The Flash could've done something similar, especially since it was the end of the Arrowverse so they weren't restricted by the continuity of the universe, but instead, Eric Wallace chose to give us yet another "mid" season with minimal Barry Allen.
