Great first episode. If keys are not unlocking the doors, you may need to update to the latest version of the mod. Some of them were broken in the funpimp update, but have been checked and should work now.
I thought I had the most up to date version but I'll double check, thanks. Honestly though, if the doors are the only issue, I'd rather not just because when I updated the District Zero mod it broke my save.
Oh, this is going to be loads of fun. I like the attention to details, well done modders! The cowboy hats and a couple of extra zombies are really nicely done. LOL @ Moe with his hat and bottle.
For the buried supplies quests I’ve had the best luck digging a 2 deep 1 wide tunnel while keeping the topsoil in place and turning the tunnel into the circle when the tunnel meets the side of the circle

The 'occassional knock down' is a zombie reaching half health. They drop every time they reach it, no matter what weapon you use. I don't know if that's a base game thing or a mod thing, but I've seen it elsewhere. Still means that knives are viable though!
There's so much to like about this mod. I'm loving all the new custom additions throughout, especially the cooking recipes/stoves. I'm running a sledge playthrough...the demon sledge is badass. Interested to see the knife playthrough for this series.
I started a playthrough on this mod after seeing one of your later episodes, kinda started backwards but i made my temp base, aka hiding on the roof, of the building that had the cellar under it. I had to spend time cracking that gun safe and it is close to hugh so i figured why not.

The first one is if your inventory is completely full and you die, when pressing R to take all from the backpack, you lose most of your hot bar. (Tools, Weapons) The second one was in multiplayer. My friend joined back on the world and is back to level one, all skill points gone.

I love doing knife runs. I like to put points into cardio and knives so I can just stab-stab-stab run away and let the zombie bleed to death. It's great.

My favorite setup is actually hordes turned off, the quantity of zombies jacked up, with feral sense at night, and relatively high damage/health. You get horde nights spontaneously at night if you aren't careful, especially in cities. Hordes themselves are repetitive, imo.

There are some new weapons added in this overhaul so I hope you don't go with just knifes but give the weapons added in a try. Keep the queen bees you find, there are bee hives that you can make and you need a queen bee to activate said bee hive. There is also a chicken coop in game, you need *two* baby chicks (you find them in chicken nests) to get the coop to work.

I think for once hordes off would have been acceptable especially with that dinner bell thing in this mod that you could do whenever, but just my thoughts if your gonna do a complete overhaul mod nothing wrong with trying something new without hordes. I also wouldn’t mind seeing a series here and there that get into the long end game part, dont get me wrong your top tier on making repetitive not so repetitive with all your ideas however it is 7 days to die having a vanilla series with hordes along side a mod without would span a wide audience.
That reminds of Marshal Raylan Givens voice from Justified TV series. Insane character immersion Glock !!! That's a great job for all those slow folk out there ;p Thumbs up, this has potential to be special if You'll stay in role.

Hey Glock, please keep that queen bee. You can craft bee keeping equipment and put the queen bee in to make a lot of honey.
Those wine barrels have a nice amount of storage space. Would be nice looking storage for your base, if you can craft them.
