Glock has done that in a previous series. I think it's called ghost town. It is a good idea for this one as well.
Just gotta be careful of fires...I think the fire mod was used for this overhaul.

Great first episode. If keys are not unlocking the doors, you may need to update to the latest version of the mod. Some of them were broken in the funpimp update, but have been checked and should work now.
I thought I had the most up to date version but I'll double check, thanks. Honestly though, if the doors are the only issue, I'd rather not just because when I updated the District Zero mod it broke my save.

For the buried supplies quests I’ve had the best luck digging a 2 deep 1 wide tunnel while keeping the topsoil in place and turning the tunnel into the circle when the tunnel meets the side of the circle

Just started my own playthrough with this mod. Very fun and challenging. Excited to see this series.
The 'occassional knock down' is a zombie reaching half health. They drop every time they reach it, no matter what weapon you use. I don't know if that's a base game thing or a mod thing, but I've seen it elsewhere. Still means that knives are viable though!
I was playing this pack on Alpha 21.1 and there were some serious bugs. The first one is if your inventory is completely full and you die, when pressing R to take all from the backpack, you lose most of your hot bar. (Tools, Weapons) The second one was in multiplayer. My friend joined back on the world and is back to level one, all skill points gone.
My favorite setup is actually hordes turned off, the quantity of zombies jacked up, with feral sense at night, and relatively high damage/health. You get horde nights spontaneously at night if you aren't careful, especially in cities. Hordes themselves are repetitive, imo.
As a southerner, I'm loving the northern boy trying to talk with the accent. Y'ain't from 'round these here parts but yer givin' it yer best shot, and that'll do just fine. I think this series will be a lot of fun.

Not gonna lie, this MOD is tough! The attention to detail, constant updates from the devs, and the fact they are very active with those streaming makes this MOD a winner!
Listening to someone with a New Jersey accent try to fake a movie cowboy accent is way funnier than I ever thought it would be. I hope he keeps it up for the whole series.

I started a playthrough on this mod after seeing one of your later episodes, kinda started backwards but i made my temp base, aka hiding on the roof, of the building that had the cellar under it. I had to spend time cracking that gun safe and it is close to hugh so i figured why not.
If only the funpimps had as much imagination. Maybe we will see something similar on alpha 106. Great video mate.

I love doing knife runs. I like to put points into cardio and knives so I can just stab-stab-stab run away and let the zombie bleed to death. It's great.

They calmed cowpokes because they used to walk around the stick. Poker cows to get them to move off train tracks.
Those wine barrels have a nice amount of storage space. Would be nice looking storage for your base, if you can craft them.
So far so good, most definitely willing to give this a go and seeing more of Frontier 7DTD.

Knives do knock zombies down, but for some reason, the Machete does not. Hunting Knife is the top-tier bladed weapon, because not only can it knock foes down, but it requires less stamina per power attack and does just about the same damage as a Machete.

There are some new weapons added in this overhaul so I hope you don't go with just knifes but give the weapons added in a try.
Keep the queen bees you find, there are bee hives that you can make and you need a queen bee to activate said bee hive. There is also a chicken coop in game, you need *two* baby chicks (you find them in chicken nests) to get the coop to work.
New sheriff in town, and he aint taking prisoners.
Glock, as a content creator who plays solo, in my opnion you could pump the player block damage to 200% or even more, so you spend less time doing the repetitive gathering job

There's so much to like about this mod. I'm loving all the new custom additions throughout, especially the cooking recipes/stoves. I'm running a sledge playthrough...the demon sledge is badass. Interested to see the knife playthrough for this series.

I think for once hordes off would have been acceptable especially with that dinner bell thing in this mod that you could do whenever, but just my thoughts if your gonna do a complete overhaul mod nothing wrong with trying something new without hordes. I also wouldn’t mind seeing a series here and there that get into the long end game part, dont get me wrong your top tier on making repetitive not so repetitive with all your ideas however it is 7 days to die having a vanilla series with hordes along side a mod without would span a wide audience.
