The PBD Podcast (Patrick Bet-David Podcast from Valuetainment) had a featured guest who spewed lies against the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . This is a first response to a portion of that, we will continue with follow up responses dealing with other deceptions and lies this guest put forward. You can see below for a brief scholarly reference of sources for the information in this video.
bn Hisham narrates that just before he died, Huyayy said that he didn't regret any of his enmity to the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and the Muslims.
'Abd al-Razzaq in his Musannaf and Ahmad b. Hanbal in his Musnad narrate that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) freed the Lady Safiyya (Allah be pleased with her) and gave her a choice between being his wife and returning to her people.
Ibn 'Abd al-Barr relates in his Isti'ab that the Lady Safiyya (may Allah be pleased with her) used to keep her family ties with her Jewish relatives who had not become Muslim.
Ibn Hisham narrates through the Lady Safiyya (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) arrived in Medina, her father recognized that he was a genuine messenger and vowed to be his enemy as long as he was alive.
Ibn HIbban and al-Tabarani narrate that the Lady Safiyya (Allah bless him and give him peace) had a dream that she would marry the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace).
Ibn Sa'd relates in his Tabaqat that the Lady Safiyya (Allah be pleased with her) told the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) that she believed in him even before he invited her to accept Islam.

The latter replied, 'With a comb and the hair, which are stuck to the comb, and the skin of pollen of a date-palm tree.' The former asked, 'Where is that?' The latter replied, 'It is in Dharwan.' Dharwan was a well in the dwelling place of the (tribe of) Bani Zuraiq. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to that well and returned to `Aisha, saying, 'By Allah, the water (of the well) was as red as the infusion of Hinna, (1) and the date-palm trees look like the heads of devils.' `Aisha added, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to me and informed me about the well. I asked the Prophet, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), why didn't you take out the skin of pollen?' He said, 'As for me, Allah has cured me and I hated to draw the attention of the people to such evil (which they might learn and harm others with).' This debate was absolutely devastating for Islam. And the fact that Muslims don't see it makes it all the more better. These Muslims admitted in big platform that killing apostates is halal for the world to see it .

The most hilarious part of seeing the Muslims reacting to this podcast is that they don't even know that this Biblical story is considered authentic in the Muslim scripture. Like this Qur'an conflates several biblical stories, namely, Moses' instruction in Deuteronomy 20:1-9, and Joshua’s expeditions against Ai and the king of Jerusalem (cf. Joshua 7 and 10). These are the very expeditions where God commanded Joshua and the Israelites to wipe out everything that breathes!

The Prophet said, "A prophet amongst the prophets carried out a holy military expedition, so he said to his followers, 'Anyone who has married a woman and wants to consummate the marriage, and has not done so yet, should not accompany me; nor should a man who has built a house but has not completed its roof; nor a man who has sheep or she camels and is waiting for the birth of their young ones.' So, the prophet carried out the expedition and when he reached that town at the time or nearly at the time of the 'Asr prayer, he said to the sun, 'O sun! You are under Allah's Order and I am under Allah's Order. O Allah! Stop it (i.e. the sun) from setting.' It was stopped till Allah made him victorious.

Narrated `Aisha:
that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was affected by magic, so much that he used to think that he had done something which in fact, he did not do, and he invoked his Lord (for a remedy). Then (one day) he said, "O `Aisha!) Do you know that Allah has advised me as to the problem I consulted Him about?" `Aisha said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What's that?" He said, "Two men came to me and one of them sat at my head and the other at my feet, and one of them asked his companion, 'What is wrong with this man?' The latter replied, 'He is under the effect of magic.' The former asked, 'Who has worked magic on him?' The latter replied, 'Labid bin Al-A'sam.' The former asked, 'With what did he work the magic?' The latter replied, 'With a comb and the hair, which are stuck to the comb, and the skin of pollen of a date-palm tree.' The former asked, 'Where is that?' The latter replied, 'It is in Dharwan.' Dharwan was a well in the dwelling place of the (tribe of) Bani Zuraiq. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to that well and returned to `Aisha, saying, 'By Allah, the water (of the well) was as red as the infusion of Hinna, (1) and the date-palm trees look like the heads of devils.' `Aisha added, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to me and informed me about the well. I asked the Prophet, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), why didn't you take out the skin of pollen?' He said, 'As for me, Allah has cured me and I hated to draw the attention of the people to such evil (which they might learn and harm others with).' " Narrated Hisham's father: `Aisha said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was bewitched, so he invoked Allah repeatedly requesting Him to cure him from that magic)." Hisham then narrated the above narration. Ibn Abi Hatim said: Yunus bin Habib told us, Abu Dawud told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Abi Bishr, on the authority of Saeed bin Jubair, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, recited “Al-Najm” in Mecca, and when he reached this place: (Have you seen Al-Lat and Al- Uzza and Manat The other third) He said: So the devil put it on his tongue: “Those are the cranes on high, and their intercession is to be hoped for . ” They said: He did not mention our gods well before today. So they prostrated, and they prostrated, so God Almighty revealed this verse: (And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he wished, Satan threw into his wish [so God abrogates what Satan casts, then God establishes His verses, and God is Knowing, Wise]) .😂

“Safiya bint Huyaiy: She was originally a Jewess. It was in 7H. when the Prophet reduced Khaibar to submission, she fell in booty. We have already seen above, that the Prophet took her in marriage -and she was also desiring that having seen that in a dream -and this attenuated very much the rigor of the conquering army in Khaibar. The Prophet told her that he was sorry for the Jews of Khaibar, that he did Not want war with them, and explained how he was obliged to do that for the security of the Muslim state and religion. …,She had a nephew who remained attached to Judaism” (350).

And whichever slave girl gave birth to a child from her master, will automatically become freed…The Quran (90:11), says that liberating a slave is the Best of Charity; it is an expiation for various sins such as accidental homicide 4:92, an oath which one is constrained not to observe….Further, it is incumbent upon the Muslim government (9:60), to earmark every year a reasonable amount in its budget to aid slaves in the country to purchase their liberation.”

I asked the Prophet, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), why didn't you take out the skin of pollen?' He said, 'As for me, Allah has cured me and I hated to draw the attention of the people to such evil (which they might learn and harm others with).' " Narrated Hisham's father: `Aisha said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was bewitched, so he invoked Allah repeatedly requesting Him to cure him from that magic)." Hisham then narrated the above narration. Jazakallah khair for this well informed response! I learnt a lot and can’t wait to discuss these points with non muslims when the topic of peace and collaboration comes up. Unfortunately people often assume muslims and Islam do not cater for anyone else and that we are in a constant state of war with other religions and groups, Alhumdulillah for all the efforts put in by the people of knowledge to combat these misconceptions and further educate the rest of the muslims so we too can carry on and spread the dawah!

I think the saddest thing to deal with as Muslims is that we love both Jesus and the prophet Muhammad (saw), but only one of these figures gets a careful representation of his character and legacy. These Christians, who are supposed to be our brothers in Abraham, continuously misrepresent and slander the prophet, this wonderful man, no matter how many times they're debunked on it, and it can just kinda make us feel like there's no point in talking to them. Good thing there are smart Christians out there who don't ruin my hope in humanity.

JazakAllah khair sheikh Hamza. I would also like to add that the Quranic injunctions are consistent with the historical account you mentioned. We find mentioned in the Quran in Surat Al Anfaal:
If you fear from a people betrayal, revoke their treaty back to them, and go back to even terms. Indeed, Allah does not like traitors. And let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. Indeed, they will not overcome. And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may strike fear into the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know but whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. Q 8: 58-60
then is says:
And if they incline to peace, then incline to it also and rely upon Allah . Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing. But if they intend to deceive you - then sufficient for you is Allah . It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers Q 8: 60-61
There is absolutely no mention of killing the treacherous but rather forgiving them if they incline to peace.

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to that well and returned to `Aisha, saying, 'By Allah, the water (of the well) was as red as the infusion of Hinna, (1) and the date-palm trees look like the heads of devils.' `Aisha added, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to me and informed me about the well. I asked the Prophet, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), why didn't you take out the skin of pollen?' He said, 'As for me, Allah has cured me and I hated to draw the attention of the people to such evil (which they might learn and harm others with).' " Narrated Hisham's father: `Aisha said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was bewitched, so he invoked Allah repeatedly requesting Him to cure him from that magic)." Hisham then narrated the above narration. So they prostrated, and they prostrated, so God Almighty revealed this verse: (And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he wished, Satan threw into his wish [so God abrogates what Satan casts, then God establishes His verses, and God is Knowing, Wise]) .😂
