Got 1.8 petrol best car on the road 57 plate no hassle in 8 years it was milano red it's now milano pink
Nice vid, very informative. Just bought mine a couple of weeks ago, 12 plate, Type S. I don't like the sound when going over the road bumps or potholes - it seems like there is something loose in the front suspension (like worn bushings or something). Maybe it's nomal for the car - dunno. Will have to check it out. Other than that - I like it so far.
Love my mk8. Same model as yours with the glass roof but mine has leather seats Suspension is stiff and I feel every bump but I can't fault it. Watched all your civic videos. Good job!
Thanks for the kind words
You sold it to me for sure.
Love this review ❤ both my son's have civics one is a 1.4 dsi and the other is a VTEC .I'm nearly 50 and seriously contemplating
Treating myself to a sporty version. After having years of Tesco warrior's (7 seaters) 😂😂
Thanks, I did the video on my way home from work one day, thought others should know how good the Honda Civic is!
Wouldn't mind doing that rear light vinyl myself
I currently own one as a daily driver 1.8 auto, it is a very nice car, I'm looking to modernize it a bit; do a facelift but leave the back alone.
I had one of these a 2006 1.8 petrol manual for my first car at 22 years old, was absolutely fantastic! Only sold it because I really fancied an A45 AMG, since then had V8 beemers and all sorts of high class German stuff but I really can't say a bad word about these civics. If I needed a cheap to run cheap to buy reliable car it would be this or the Toyota aygo, but tbh the civic is way more prectical and usable, great motor! 👍
they are superb little cars, for the money they are amazing
keep your eyes on the road 😯
I managed to get about 50mpg on a motorway by driving to the eco lights but I agree, great car. Always starts, do a million miles probably if serviced well. Oh and it sticks like glue on corners - leave Audis and BMWs behind on roundabouts. Whats not to like.
They are great city cars and massive inside
I had the 2.2 diesel s type. Was a great car, almost no suspension though. The back seats are the best, the way the base folds down to the floor and leaves you will a perfectly flat boot. Was basically a little van.
That's just what I thought 👍
Nice car!
Thanks
Nice video, nice looking car. Especially the vinyl on the back looks good! How did you solve the difference in spacing of the bolting pattern of the wheels putting the Benz wheels on the Civic? What ET-value do the CLK wheels have?

Love you vids, short sweet and to the point, what trim level is your Civic?
Thanks mate, that really means a lot, especially as I am just on my own with a camera! Not sure the trim name.
seems like the base spec not having built in bluetooth and aux, etc. if youre in the market, type s gt for the 3dr and the ex trim for the 5dr are the top spec
Commuting from scotland to london is mental
It is, but I used to do it for 3 year's in my Mercedes SL, made it so much easier😉
Didn't know the rear seat bases in those fold up too, really think about stuff Honda
The seats are so simple, so handy, great quality!
Very nice arrangement you’ve got there!
But I’ve heard older Hondas can be prone to the dreaded tin-worm - any sign of problems on yours?
No my car is great
What model has the sunroof
EX Trim
Mine has a squeaky clutch and a boot leak
Have a look at my clutch video I did. Boot leak 90%of time is from top metal seams. Check the seam near hinge bracket mate, then seal it with waterproof sealant. Let me know how you get on
So, will you sell it to me for £1000? We need a reliable car for work! 😊
You say you normally drive automatics!
So why didn’t you go for an auto civic?
We all know why, because that particular series with auto were CRAP!
Definitely not Honda reliability!
They are cheap, because their engines are ticking time bombs. Repairs cost more than an entire car. I have my own Honda Civic 8'th generation and I cannot wait to offload that piece of crap.
