    I managed to get about 50mpg on a motorway by driving to the eco lights but I agree, great car. Always starts, do a million miles probably if serviced well. Oh and it sticks like glue on corners - leave Audis and BMWs behind on roundabouts. Whats not to like.

    I had the 2.2 diesel s type. Was a great car, almost no suspension though. The back seats are the best, the way the base folds down to the floor and leaves you will a perfectly flat boot. Was basically a little van.

    I had one of these a 2006 1.8 petrol manual for my first car at 22 years old, was absolutely fantastic! Only sold it because I really fancied an A45 AMG, since then had V8 beemers and all sorts of high class German stuff but I really can't say a bad word about these civics. If I needed a cheap to run cheap to buy reliable car it would be this or the Toyota aygo, but tbh the civic is way more prectical and usable, great motor! 👍

      @Randombrudddaaa หลายเดือนก่อน

      @GrooveOn aside from a few mechanical fuckeries...it's been good!! But almost 20 year old 1k car, you should expect a few issues. Honestly think everyone should get a civic rather than ye bog standard yaris, 106 etc

    • @Randombrudddaaa
      @Randombrudddaaa หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Natediaaz209 won't lie bro, it's been a mixed bag. The driving experience itself, fantastic. Can't complain, plenty of grunt and torque for my needs. Gets me round the city easily enough, and is quite happy sitting at 70 on the motorway.
      However, I will caveat that with I've had a few issues, snapped driveshaft, brakes binding and a dodgy electric mirror. But! That's expected when you are buying a car that's almost 20 years old, and thankfully parts are plentiful and cheap.
      I'd say do your research, check the MOT history (assuming you're in the UK), do a car history check and go for a test drive! You can find absolutely perfect examples out there, I'd suggest going for something with service history for peace of mind. All in all I'd rate the car a solid 8/10.

    Nice vid, very informative. Just bought mine a couple of weeks ago, 12 plate, Type S. I don't like the sound when going over the road bumps or potholes - it seems like there is something loose in the front suspension (like worn bushings or something). Maybe it's nomal for the car - dunno. Will have to check it out. Other than that - I like it so far.

    Yes they handle well in corners. but If you are looking for comfort in these cars lol forget it and look for something else. Engines are bulletproof reliable but suspension parts are made out of tin foil 😂 and the car. You will feel each & every single bumps, potholes, wind noise on the road. @@sbrader97 All 8'th gen engines are time bombs. It is due to manufacturing defects. Its casting tend to shatter with time. Smaller, petrol engines experience more stress and thus they are more prone for this to happen when car is still being actively used. 9'th gen Civics are good, but I think from 10'th gen they yet again have engine issues.
