Great video. I purchased one recently and found a couple errors in the manual. It was driving me nuts. The videos really helped. Did you notice the shock mounts for the rear on the wrong side of the arms? also missing the 2 mm blue shims. Maybe I ended up with a new old stock model? anyway I got it figured out. thanks again

Actually, the manual we worked from (pre-public release) is correct - the ball on the arm is not for the shocks, it's for the anti-roll bar. You actually have to mount the shocks to the small piece that mounts to the TOP of the arms, if that makes sense (Page 5 Step 5). They are just showing the arms being built upside down because the arms are INSTALLED upside down in the manual (with the bottom of the chassis pointing up).

Just finished a TA08 build and spent approximately 3 years hand tapping out all the threads as the manual suggests. Did you skip that step and if so, do you have any regrets?

LOL, honestly, we didn't tap any of them :/ I usually don't, but we have a little secret we use when threading (actually RE-threading) screws into plastic. That will be in an upcoming 'tips' video we are working on.

Hahah. Good to know your car won’t fall to pieces after two packs if you skip that step. I’ll keep an eye out for the upcoming video. Thanks!
