As a Kagero main. What Kagero need is just something entirely different. Just anything maybe a G zone ability or multi attack (restanding rg) or give battle dore ability or deal damage ability or increase drive like dauntless R ability or stunverse like ability or main phase stride (good with Blademaster). Something thats unique like what they shown us in V with Lawkeeper, BFD and Dauntless Reverse. If they give us another restander thats worth to stride personally they need to make it even better than The X, End. Barakat is just a better Blazing Burst GB8 card to me, so easy to counter just PG mid even with more PG g guard exist now Barakat value just goes down. Support for Premium Main deck just depend on V and D series cards, maybe it'll change once we see V clan coll next.
I can say, as another Kagero main, that i already tested the cards with multiple kagero decks in premium vs others decks and the result was that the Stride is more worth than it seems even in Overlord (there are many time when the opponent leave the field empty and they are at 1-2 damage so Dumjid isn't really deadly except if you triple crit so they aren't going to defend him, it also force you to put a card in rear to activate blaze, in those cases the new stride do wonders, it would force defense because it would attack with 38k 3 crits (with force 2) quadrive and if the opponent leave and empty field, buff the rears +10k) meanwhile the G Guard is pretty useless outside antisentinels attacks, even in the Lawkeeper deck it really struggle to be an option, in 90% of the case denial is better against a rear and against a vanguard swing in most cases is a total of 2 discards (the heal for g guard + another one for his skill because lawkeeper can't leave 4 open rears to the rival with it skill) when a PG or Abd Salam works better. And versus accel decks it doesn't matter because most of them can supperior call in battle, reducing the value of the G Guard. It's just another G Guard to have one in the G Zone just in case because Kagero G Zone has too much room to spare.
Also if you want multi attack with rears, you could use Vairina Esperaridea as its just a Chou-Ou for a SB for any Dragon Empire deck and recives the +10k of the new Stride and Zanbust

Some do actually doesnt leave their board empty especially if you're fighting with decks that can filter their boards pretty easily like Luard (liafail). For Overlord, Stride kinda depend on times whether you go first or second if you go first then you just use The X V era ability on opponent g2 while next turn you just use The X G era to legion and put pressure on your opponent. Overlord does plays VG centric, RG is only there to support him further. If you go second then you can stride to anything depend on your opponent situation. For Barakat its great to have high numbers and high crits but that threat is nothing if they got PG. There are protect clans can get sentinel easily, we have G guard PG as well, Accel doesnt really care they can draw bunch and they can finish the game by then. RG's that have high number doesnt do anything if you know your opponent just no guard it. There also PG that can recycle themselves. For lawkeeper, to me its more of an anti multiple RG attack decks. Its still really good forces your opponent to commit so that their front row doesnt get bind while using Denial, Dragon knight Sadegh, Hulkroar, aethonic, Bellog or any hand trap cards and all units +5k during opponent turn if you're opponent doesnt have backrow is pretty sick. I like the G guard though i can avoid discard 3 cards from hand using PG against battledore ability. Also Genuinely i cant wait for DBT 05 en i'm trying to test deck Nizari using Tsumugi, Dustin and Folktail from D series in prem.
I really like that the new support in both V-clan collection and P-clan collection in recent years has focused on making Kagero more than just Dragonic Overlord The Clan. Overlord is a great premium deck already, it's nice to see other viable Kagero playstyles be enabled by new support.
Eurogias can, in fact, plus if you don't have a full board. If you have a booster for your Vanguard and a full rear guard column, you can draw 3 and call 3 cards, two to one column and one to your spent front row attack. So you went +2, got 4 attacks off, and got a force marker. Multiattack with pluses and a free force marker is not bad for cb1. You can even proc the effects of something like Livarot since on place from hands work with Eurogias. I don't think he synergizes well with Jewel Knights since the synergy of Salome + Crystaluster is too good to give up, but in a deck like MLB I think Eurogias would be great. And of course, like you said, it laughs at Gredora.
It sucks that the Kagero support isn’t compatible with Overlord. Also the G-Guard isn’t that effective if the opponent can still build a board out of 1-2 cards.
Barakat being a bad exterminate kinda sucks, was hoping for a bigger boost since Kagero rears are bad even if you slap 10k onto them "for free" G guard is very funny, generally a better Abd Salam that also helps with things like Zoa.
At first, I thought Eurogias would be nice for Jewel Knight. After some thought, it's a lot worse than Salome striding Crystal Luster bc Crystal Luster get Salome restanding skill + get additional drive bc Crystal Luster is place on top Salome. Meaning that you get 2 vg attacks with quad drive with Hardleg effect if it Gb3, while you only get additional force marker if you stride into Eurogias. I think Eurogias is the worst stride in this set.

I had two situations when playing jk nights this stride would have come in handy. But you are correct that this stride by far is the weakest stride. Also, that g guard is cost heavy plus very easily to counter so best your going to get is 30k most of the time, or take the weakest next attack and very rarely used as pg. Sad thing is it’s the best generic g guard royals have.

That's where lawkeeper comes in + this is great against accel deck that spam markers and overextend to the point they have halve an empty board

G guard is very funny, generally a better Abd Salam that also helps with things like Zoa.
The royal paladin works best in Altmile, that deck has G2 that can intercept from back row
