I think what’s important to remember is that there is a g2 black wings card that at the end of the battle it boosted if you are in black wings you can put a rear guard or card from your soul into your hand which means you can easily Tudor out your dress up from field or soul ready for the next turn
Yup realized that after recording that you can even loop that part of the deck it's actually pretty nuts if you think about it and with yuika you can even bounce back the G2 so you have her save to do it again next turn and have infinite Persona Rides
@@VanguardInsider if you grab a card from soul with that g2 it goes into soul so I don’t think you could use yuika at that point. But the more I theory craft the list the more I want to fit yuika in the deck despite it having no wing synergy. Bibbuel would be my budget yuika replacement as it serves the purpose to SB OG Alestiel so you can recycle it

Some corrections, new alestiel's first skill isn't exactly the same as the old one, it's BETTER, since in the old one you could only bind if you added a card from bind to hand. Now even if you didn't add, you'd still be able to bind a card, which gets around shojodoji completely shutting alestiel down by removing the bind zone. Others have pointed this out, but piael can only attack a g3 or higher vanguard from the backrow. Eririel's 2nd skill IS put on GC, not on place, so you can intercept and still proc her effect. This is confirmed as one of her pointers when the card was first revealed on stream in JP. One other thing interesting of note is that the new alestiel's black wing effect CAN search for herself since, yknow, that's a black wing effect. My main gripe about these reveals is that yes you are pretty much guaranteed white wings every turn, but being on PURE white wings isn't very good, since it means that all the black wings card you will be running are essentially 10k vanillas. The rear swings are laughably weak, and would easily keel over a single defensive trigger unless you persona ride/pull a front while on old alestiel's black wing effect, or alternatively run unsearchable white wing beatsticks. This makes opening the turn with white wings while having no elkels arguably the worst thing that could happen, since realistically all you have going is a double vanguard swing. The deck is only good if you're able to consistently go into elkel's double wing eff, at least that's my impression of the deck.
something to note about alestial white wings unlike most restanders this is a persona ride and a ride on restander like rivere so triggers to vg on the first attack are basically pointless if they didnt hit in the first place since you will be riding a new vg. i am glad she is getting more love and support especially since i was enjoying her on dear days with set 2 support since i have the cards irl but like to playtest on dear days when i can. the g3 was funny when she first came out a bit nuts if you got her off on set 2 and now its consistant it is very fun. the grade 1 is good means you can discard normal alestial g3 for ride and then shuffle back with g1 to ride for the dress up and a generic restand effect at 8k is nice not massive but it helps the grade 2 is ok not great its a alestiel effect for 1cb and a 10k shield for grade 2's theres a lot of better options like the one that replaces the bind zone card with a card in your hand. the big thing about alestial is if she ever got meta breaking she would bring back any bind enemy cards decks since the biggest weakness to alestials wings is any extra cards in deck unlesss you have the g3 for that turn as they will cancel each other out if there is odd and evens there old narukami would just laugh at it looking forward to loronel and feltyrosa given these improvements
I dunno if he just misread the card before making a video on it or whatnot but Piael can't be used to attack a grade 2 vg from backrow it only works vs grade 3 vanguards , so piael will still need either alestiels black wings or phenael to hit the vanguard
You made one wrong assumption on the video, the backrow attacker can only attack a g3 or greater opponent vanguard... great video tho, definitely excited for the new support.
yeah that is the only card that only works if you go second on turn 3, but that said there are way more powerfull interactions I learned after the recording that make it even better (look forward to the future deck spotlight)

Wait! Is Alestiel's Second superior Riding effect not once per turn? Am I missing something? Does this card literally give you 3 Vanguards attacks while your opponent might still be on Grade 2? Also the old Alestiel gives her self a continues Crit Buff and -5K on all of your opponents Units. This is absolutely broken they must have made a typo this is leagues ahead from most stuff in Standard right now.

Ok, at this point I am convinced that bushi decided to murder bruce just to sell more stride decksets to push jet as the only choice in dark states. Viamance has a lot of potential wasted on 2 harsh conditions for no reason.
Hmmm... Dunno about laughing stock. I kept winning against Gravidia, Bastion, Zorga and Magnolia. I mean I know these aren't meta, but I would never call Alestiel a laughing stock. But otherwise, good video and I'm especially happy Bushi gave us a good card. Alestiel supremacy always. I'm now really excited about Loronerol, my second main deck. Here's hoping to something super fun 😊
Decent, yes. Broken, no. The new G3 is hard carrying the deck while the rest are just mediocre or even unnecessary. Doesn't fix the binding issues and it bricking against bind decks. Elkel, which I can see will shoot its price ridiculously, is still the best bind target.

persona ride only actiavtes on a normal ride during the ride phase UNLESS a card specifies you actiave Persona Ride (Gratias Gradale & Masque)
