Thank you ! I am going with Mimaki !
Congratulations! It's a great machine.
Do you know If there is any difference between Mimaki 3042 and Mikaki 6042 besides the size ? @@graphicinsights466
I really need a 24in X 48in flat top printer.
Which is best to print on leather , suede , canvas etc and uses ink that will be flexed without cracking?
I think the Mimaki with the LUS-120+, LUS-150+, LUS-170#+, LUS-175+, LUS-200+ flexible ink would give you the best results. I would absolutely ask for a sample or provide Mimaki or a dealer with the material you want to print on for a sample to ensure the flexibility
I saw Roland has a sub $10k model. Curious how this stacks up?
Yes they do! Smaller bed size and CMYK,W no clear and 4” opening compared to 8” but can print on everything the other can if it fits on the bed. I have it in a video here Unlock Profits: How Roland’s New Desktop Devices Revolutionize Product Customization!
th-cam.com/video/lgmwN7HiGLg/w-d-xo.html
can they print on soft material like rubber or silicon?
You should be able to print on both I would suggest the Mimaki Flexible Inks: LUS-120+, LUS-150+, LUS-170#+, LUS-175+, LUS-200*# or the Thermoforming Ink: LUS-350flexible ink set. I would strongly suggest sending your samples to a dealer or manufacture to print on your exact item for a definite answer.
what's of these is better to print flat glass photos?
All of them are capable but in my opinion it would be the Roland MO240 for photos. The red and orange ink will give you the widest color gamut, good balance of cost and features and it comes with a 2 year warranty.
@@graphicinsights466 thank you tour videos have been really helpful!
Have you used any of these out or you just reading marketing copy?
Hi, thanks for the question. I have used the Roland and Mimaki. I’m comparing the others as similar ones in that same category.
@@graphicinsights466 Apologies if I came off accusatory. So much content on TH-cam these days just seems to be paid for with no personal experience. This was my first time watching a video from your channel. I'll watch some more. Thank you.
@feldon27 no worries and I completely understand. I spent 20 years in distribution so although I haven’t used all of these printers I have received feedback from customers that have. On top of that I do a ton of research for every video to make sure I verify all the info. I’m not being compensated from any manufacturers and will always do my best to provide honest opinions and truthful statements when it comes to anything I review.

Do a video on grommet decorating with eco-solvent.
I'm not sure what you mean. Do you want a video of how to place grommets in a banner? or can you be a little more specific.
@@graphicinsights466 lol garment as in clothing, sorry it was a typo . Do a video on the best eco solvent material to decorate clothing
Haha. Sorry I didn't pick up on that. That's a great idea!
