I don't understand why you couldn't use that lever action rifle for home defense. I've seen a lot of people use lever actions for home defense and they do work. I mean if they worked when people had them out west they definitely work now.???
Hi Daylight , yes ! If they were good for cowboys and ranchers , they are good for the rest of us ! Plus , having the choice of two calibers !! God Bless ! Keith
@@allenhampshire8135 definitely! I mean if you train real good with a lever gun you can get things done. Plus being able to top off the magazine through the side gate while firing under stress is a good thing too. I mean it's not the gun, it's the person behind the gun that makes the gun because at the end of the day the gun is just a tool. It's the person that knows how to use that tool very well that counts 😉
It can most definitely be used for home defense. Not the best tool for a job but a hammer can still set a screw. The 357 mag lever gun in your hand is better than the rifle in the gun safe
@@wizarddaddy47 okay????🙄 I don't understand what you're getting at but okay .....last time I heard the meaning of that word, it normally meant a person was ignorant of firearms or didn't know anything about them. If you're trying to call me ignoramus then it's not working.
Not too experienced with lever guns are you? Absolutely perfect for HD, super reliable and 50 state legal. Additionally lever guns are supposed to load like that. The only round that you send fully home through the loading gate is the last one.
That’s pretty common for loading lever Rifles. My marlin 30-30 is similar. Kinda a pain to load, but a blast to shoot. I would love a .357 lever rifle. Make a great truck gun. I have several revolvers chambered in it so why not??! Great vid bro
My rossi r92 357 is the same hard to load. I've seen vids where guys take it apart and file the feed area and polish it then. They also take the feed tube spring out and cut 1 to 3 inches off bc the spring is to strong. With the rossi they use the same spring in all there barrel length variations and the spring is for a 24" barrel, so when it's in the 20" and 16" there really stiff making it hard to load.
We got a similar one, LVR410 Skeletonized stock in FDE. It is pretty fun, but i wasn't really thinking about anmo availability at the time unfortunately. Breaking it down was interesting, took me 3 hours to clean it. Only problems/ cosmetic issues is ive had extraction problems and the mlok slots on the handguard aren't really MLOK there's only a few actually cut out so the nut will function properly. Either way still glad we have it, the .357 would be more desirable and fun im sure of it.
I got the LVR410 a couple weeks ago and just cycled the action about 200 times, then tried inserting AZOOM dummy rounds, they dug into the loading gate so I purchased some of the steel base plastic rounds that inserted as if they were the real brass based shells. It was a B.... to load until I took off the mag cap and fully compressed the follower spring with a 1/2 inch wooden dowel and left it like that for 48 hrs., and also wedged a round in to loading gate to relax that spring also. Now loads easily as it should. I emailed with GFORCE about my concerns and they told me I dad to tearing it down to clean it. I told them the only thing i tear down is a gun that has been packed in cosmoline and that I would fully flush the action with GUNSCRUBBER, then lube with CLP. Yep all that black fine metal went down the drain, was sticky to cycle until I lubed it now smooth as any lever action Winchester I've had. Also I got a Beretta/Benelli Mobil Imp Cyl Bore Choke from Beretta, the threads don't match so had to return. Trying another vendor to see if their choke threads are correct. So far I haven't decided on the Huckleberry or the Rossi, pricing is fairly close BUT the Rossi is dovetailed for optics, the GFORCE you have to get the polymer one which has the handguard with all the holes which isn't too appealing to me with the long picatinny rail. So still on the rail, good review.
You gotta learn proper loading techniques, all lever guns in pistol cartridges are difficult at first , put the round halfway in and use the next round to push it the rest of the way and repeat
If its reliable, no .357 lever carbine is a "toy". I wouldn't feel under armed against any man or beast in North America, inside 100 yards, with the right load for the species, with a .357 mag lever gun. Rate of fire is absolutely not a problem for those of us that grew up with that platform of firearm. Reloading is an acquired skill that comes with use, and the tube can be topped off easily at any break in firing if necessary. It is an excellent home defense, as well as large predator defense weapon.
This GForce is a Rossi R92, I don't know if Rossi has the same issue, which is you can fire the gun without the round being fully chambered. I have 5 other lever guns and none of them will allow this to happen. I don't know how you can build a gun without this saftey in place.
I think it's a lot more than a toy man. Might not be the first choice indoors, but you could absolutely defend yourself with a lever action. Would make a great hunting rifle as well.
It has a threaded barrel for a suppressor so i would do that for a defensive gun. The fact that its lever action over semi means nothing for that decision
Try not pulling the rifle down from your shoulder every time you run the lever. If you can run the lever and keep the rifle on target That’s what you want.

It's easier to insert cartridges if you don't insert them all the way when inserting subsequent rounds.
Spot on!
Push one round in after another without closing the Kings Gate!
I know what ya mean but this one is a bi*ch to load. Even doing that.

Love me some lever gun...
💥🔫🤠 Yeehaw !
Love all the two tone firearms you show. Two tone doesn't get nearly enough love, and it's cool to see them in action on your channel
Agreed! Thanks for watching, lots more to come. Respect

Nice rifle. I have a Rossi r92 357magnum. I haven’t shot it yet however I’ve loaded dummy rounds in it and they are not easy to put in.
This actually has gotten much better. I think I just had to break it in more! Respect

Love to hear you like it! And I like odd ball or “dead” rounds… I enjoy that sort of stuff. Respect and thanks for watching

Looks pretty fun to shoot but not load, btw move to Florida
I am embarrassed to ask but this takes 38 special too right? Also, site says 10+1 capacity.

What do these cost in real world? Thanks keep up the videos!
On my list still a sexy rifle possibly get the tactical version 🙏

No, it is not a Rossi R92. They're both based on the Winchester 1892, yes, but the G-Force is made by Hugtek out of Turkey.

Where the magpul gloves at?! Got good use out of mines this past winter, thanks for the recommendation SPN!
I know I forgot them! When we got there I realized that and wasn’t happy… it was like 25 out… no problem man, respect!
Nice shotgun setup
Thanks man, respect
May the G force be with you
Dude.....GO INSIIIIDE!!! Where it's warm. Film that shit during the springtime.
⭐👊🏻✌

That's not a 20"
Great video but guns arent toys at all🤣
Personal pet peeve of mine...keep up the good work
Nice!
That's why you load the side gate topping off while you fire. Ya need to learn to load while firing under stress anyways
thanks for the video man, how is the overall quality of this gun?
put the round halfway in and allow the next to push the rest of way in
You see that new integrally suppressed lever gun at Can Con?
Boyyyy you pocket carry a shield 40 😂 triple OG
Seems like a great budget .357 I’d like to get a tactical 16” one
Will that cycle .38 spl as well? I like peep sights on my long guns.,
The specs say it would
Can you remove the muzzle device and thread on a suppressor ? Btw, what is the thread-size them? TIA
1/2x28, hell yes you can
-@@Bobdixon_Moonvarga_Dancer_III Great. Thanks - I see the muzzle device at the freeze frame @ 00:39.
will this also cycle and fire 38 Special?
Yes...👍
gonna buy one....
Did the compensator come with the rifle, or is it aftermarket?
Lol, he said that in the beginning 😂
The reason I asked is i bought the same exact one, but i only got the threaded barrel protector; no compensator. @@Steve-yo4ld
