high notes of extinction backed by scorched earth and the transitions of aberation with the bass made from genesis, all based of the OG song and the added choir as a sort of minor crescendo. Imma go cry.

a mix between all ascension maps, if you'd like to call it that way
Scorched earth still needs an ascension, can easily remix their Respawn theme with sounds oddly like a shortened ascension one it was probs in the works before it was scrapped I would think
So the map musics in this is the original extinction Abberation and genesis

A bit of abberration to give the eerie feeling, a sprinkle of extinction to give the "end/finale" feeling, and finally the og theme to bring out the tears. You Gareth Coker are a brilliant composer and thank you for sticking with ark for 6 years. Hope to see your work in the sequel.

I remember every boss fight, the tames I had lost and and the fact this is the last part to this story brings tears to my eyes because of this song. I love it and the music for this wonderful game is probably one of the best parts.

Ark 2 is still coming, a whole new game, lets hope the game is made correctly so its easy to fix bugs and get better doss protection, better anticheat (although on ps4 that was never a problem

It's already nearly been a year since this masterpiece of a dlc got released. Wow. Definitely in my top 3 in maps and top 2 in music. Can't believe this is our last year in this amazing game

There are two things that always impress me: the incompetence of the devs and the absolutely great music
It's interesting to know someone else has put it to words. I worry a little that Gareth's reputation might suffer for having worked with WC. His music is phenomenal. I still listen to Ori and the Blind Forest when I want to relax.
@@tacthescribbler772 He really did an oustanding job with ARK's music and I don't even want to mention Ori and the blind forest. The music there was otherworldly and is one of my favourite OST of all time. I hope the best for him for the future

Yeah David Tennant was too perfect of a choice for Rockwell. And it was only a week delay so I’m sure it will be worth the wait
I’m pretty sure they also delayed it because ark was released on June 2nd, 2015. Now the last dlc is gonna release on June 2, 2021.

I love the attention to detail and animations here, from the Noglin blinking all the way to Rockwell’s eyes glowing when he speaks at the end.
This is literally amazing, All i've ever wanted the finale for arks music to be. The poster aswell, All of it is literally MAGNIFICENT, All your moments in ark leading to this moment itself, where the trilogy will end and begin another.

i think its the timeline of story but im still thinking ark survival evolved,ark scorched earth,ark genesis,ark genesis 2,ark abberation,ark extinction and ark 2
i think the planet the battle is taking place on is the same planet as ark 2 or at least it looks similar

@@Kae5K Arat prime is not the ship. But it was launched from there. Diana and Mei traveled to Arat prime after extinction to beam Helena into the genesis simulation and then somehow Rockwell made it here and stowed away on board with hints from the devs he brought aberration creatures and influence with him
Coming back to this 2 months later…. This DLC truly feels like the culmination of the 5 year journey I’ve had with ark. Here’s to all the memories.

They delayed it for 7 months. If there’s bugs then they have been doing nothing for a year. And if a simple DLC is delayed that long then Ark 2 won’t come out until 2023/2024
no matter how much we love this game we all know theres at least going to be 50 more bugs on release, and thats why we love it so much

Love you WC & Gareth Coker. You made my childhood dreams come true, brought more than a drop of tear on adult me's eyes. I have a YT channel with videos only because of how much I adore this game.
This theme is fantastic, combines all the older amazing themes. Can't wait for Gen 2.
All I feel is just joy, all those hours, days, months, years of just chillin with da bois and gals, sometimes getting rekt in pvp, sometimes just vibing in a local game, sometimes waiting an hour to get a SOTF game, sometimes listening to an epic soundtrack, sometimes reading explorer notes just fills me with Nostalgia.
Even if I am always the last one standing in an empty base full of sleeping friends that won't come back to help me finally beat the brood mother or finally get some rock drake eggs, even if everyone leaves at some point and nobody wants to play with me anymore, just seeing it'll all end with a DLC that looks so promising with such a beautiful theme is just.. Well it's just so nice.
It gives me one last chance with friends. I'gonna be honest, I don't have a good feeling for ark 2. For me this is the real end. And I'm hoping it' s worth bothering sleepers to come join me one last time.

recognizing a lot of the islands music, so nostalgic there! remember your first dodo? your army growing out to rexes and you slapping the overseers but? in scorched your wyverns ruling the desert? in abberation being the king of the mutated underground? in extinction mastering Rockwell’s corruption at it’s purest? in genesis mastering all of the biomes? all those times, all those struggles, all those death, all those wins, who would have thought that it would all lead up to THIS? this very moment, the last of ARKS.

From picking up pebbles on the beach, to this final moment of Arks evolution, this is more then a game now. This is a story that spans years, every survivor with a different story, with a different adventure, all arriving here.

I have listened to it so many times it’s probably one of the best ark tracks we have ever gotten!
I love you Gareth. The love and passion you put behind your tracks is extremely apparent. The dedication you’ve shown to this series is outstanding. This music has brought me to genuine tears at times, and goosebumps at others. Every single one is masterfully crafted. Out of all of them, this one is my favorite. The Genesis Part Two theme. The start of the end of ARK’s magnificent journey.

I have been playing this game for 6 years now and it still amazes me and the music is one of the thing that leaves me in shock really out did yourself mate 10/10.

It's finally time huh....Well these past 6 years have been and I'm not joking here, the best time of my life I came into the game because I love Survival games and Dinosaurs (I mean who doesn't) as soon as I loaded in , in 2015 I instantly got addicted and played and played and played , all the countless School Days , the late nights , All for THIS moment , the community is one of the best I've come across to rivalling those like destiny and halo and I can't wait to see where it goes. So I say we take the fight to Rockwell! The end is coming and I WILL be there with you to accend 1 last time, but until then....Stay Alive and Good Luck Survivor :)
Heavenly as always! I love the use of the different themes, I actually get emotional hearing the main theme with the vocals! Somehow you managed to amaze me once again.
Man this theme is a mixture of Extinction, Island and Abberation. And its done amazing. The best theme you can end off the story of this game.
This theme has a truly nostalgic feel to it. The mixture of elements from each of the main themes of ark really made me think of all the memories, good and bad, i've had across all of the maps. It really feels like the end of our journey.
This.... this does put a smile on my face.
Honestly first time I decide to actually bother listening to any game's soundtrack...
