My skin barrier was DESTROYED, like painful to touch, itchy, red, peeling, all of it & this was the product that brought me the most relief. My derm (absolutely awful) told me to stop using it back in January but I started using it again this week and my skin has been SO HAPPY.

Yes! I do not know why nobody talks about round lab, they have really good products for good prices. I have seb derm so that toner helps A LOT! And it is a good amount for a good price. They have different lines, soy bean, mugwort, apple, birch juice and line for sensitive skin.
If you have very sensitive skin, I’d highly recommend a very well-known K-skincare product called “Zeroid Soothing Cream”. In fact, loads of board-certified dermatologists based in S. Korea recommend this product for sure :) This product has an excellent reputation for its MLE technology, which UC San Francisco researchers also approved that it actually helps restoring your skin lipid barrier!
I’m glad to see Dr. Dray evolving and finding some stellar toners she likes. Toners are fabulous vehicles for extra hydration and ingredient transfer into the skin.
Omg I totally need a lotion moisturizer for the upcoming hotter days ... but korean products are so expensive in Europe :( A summer skincare routine guide would be 🔥
I am Korean. I lived in NYC and now in Seoul but I have never seen any of the items in drugstores. I wish you could do a video about Kbeauty products from drugstores.
Before I found you Sokoglam recommended the Round lab mugwort toner for me. And I've been loving it. It really does calm down the redness in my cheeks and feels so soothing. I'm going to try the mugwort cream and some of the Rovectin products you reviewed. So many products, so little face to put them on!
The Cosrx Full Fit Propolis Synergy Toner has been a game changer for my skin. Breakouts have stopped, skin feels balanced (had been dry/dehydrated), and feels more resilient (not reacting to changes in products or weather, especially with the crazy cold we’ve had in Texas this year).
I have three Korean skin care products that I am using at the moment. 1) Purito: From Green Cleansing Oil. 2) Dear Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner. 3): By Wishtrend Pure Vitamin C 15% with Ferulic Acid. All are fragrance and essential oil free products. They hydrate the skin well and don't break me out.
I have liked the Korean products you’ve recommended in the past like the It’s skin licorice root and the pynkang yul line. Thanks for trying things out!!!
That rovectin cleanser has been the only one not to cause irritation with my double cleanse especially during my pregnancy...its amazing...so excited to hear you talk about it.
Vichy also makes a similar product to that sulfur treatment. It’s a 10% sulfur spot treatment gel that is fragrance-free and has soothing ingredients in it!
I love the Haruharu Wonder line, especially the toner, with fermented black rice extract. Their other creams have too much fragrance but now it seems they are offering a complete fragrance-free line. I find the lavender in some of the products fine on my sensitive skin but welcome this option. Cassandra Bankson just did a video announcing the new line, too.
I heard that ceramide was an expensive ingredient and that low cost products as Cerave couldn’t be very effective (as PC is for example). Is it true in your opinion? Many thanks
Yes that’s true. Ceramides and cholesterol are quite expensive to be heavily put into cosmetic products. Nonetheless, you don’t necessarily need a large amount of them to gradually restore your skin lipid barrier with a moisturising product. So, there are a few number of K-dermocosmetic brands trying to solve the problem with some technology including biomimic multi-lamellar structure with pseudo ceramides, phytosterol (replacing cholesterol) and so on. For example, topical MLE technology in “Zeroid Soothing Cream’’ is approved by UC San Francisco dermatology researchers for restoring your skin lipid barrier. “Dr Different 113 Moisturizer" is another good example.
Glad that dr dray recommend Rovectin. This brand is underrated compared to other korean skin care. Their ingredients list are superb and after seeing you compliment their product make me more trust toward this brand. But the bad news is their moisturizer is not available yet in my country. FYI the rovectin cleanser has a ph level of 5.7
It would be interesting to get Dr Dray'd take on CDB, especially since their line is fragrance-free and ingredients-focused. Seems like something she may enjoy?
I just discovered Round Lab myself, and have been loving the Soybean Nourishing Cream! My skin is dry and very sensitive and has been very happy with it after using it in the daytime for two weeks. I just wish it was in a tube rather than a jar - it would be so much more convenient. At night, I've been using the Zeroid Intensive Cream and it has been wonderful. Over it, I sometimes apply the Etude House Soon Jung Sleeping Pack. Both are fragrance free and so so gentle.
I know I’m so late to your comment, but I just ordered the soybean cream today and I’m really excited. Unfortunately, my “holy grail” moisturizer (Aestura 365) changed in formulation and my skin is reacting horribly to it. Went on a quick hunt for something similar with ceramide that won’t affect my hypersensitive/ reactive skin and I found the RL Soybean Nourishing cream to be a pretty perfect fit! Can’t wait to try it out! 😊
A green tea toner I love and many other skincare youtubers seem to enjoy, is the Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner! It is on iherb! Would love to hear your thoughts on that someday!😍
Also, Dr. Dray, could you do an updated video on your recommendations for pregnant and nursing women? About to have baby #3 and I used your advice for my other two pregnancies and it went fantastic. My OB had no clue about what to recommend (I’m not knocking her for that, by the way, she’s not a dermatologist so it’s not her area of expertise!) so your advice was much needed. I know you’ve discovered a lot of great products since then!
One of my favorites is Haru Haru Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner. I just love K Beauty essences and toners. I feel about them the way some people feel about under eye patches. They just make me feel really good. I am a little on the oily side so I get into a bit of trouble with how many I want to use. Even after two prior layers, this toner sinks right in. I’m trying to listen to my skin more instead of throwing the kitchen sink at it everyday😂 it’s great to understand what each toner, essence, lotion brings to the party. Thank you as always for sharing your expertise. Oh ya - and I bought the Rovectin toner. “I didn’t need it, I ordered it” So many bottles🤪
I ordered the Rovectin Treatment Lotion and the Cosrx Overnight Rice Mask back in July 2020 - not sure what drew me to them but man I must have a good eye for great Korean skincare. Used the treatment lotion pretty much every day since it arrived and the bottle is still half full - amazing value!
I’ve seen Round Lab’s products in my recommendations and whatnot and have been wanting to try their products out after reading about them. I love the Aveeno Oaf Gel moisturizer and its consistency, so I’m definitely going to try the mugwort moisturizer out!

I ordered the treatment lotion/toner that you discussed. It hits a lot of marks for me and I can’t wait to try it. Thanks, Dr. Dray!!! Take good care. ❤️❤️
Liquids with low viscosity could be decantered into a mist spray bottle for smoother application. Dr Dray is so right, some products do not work for some skin types differences. Because the Sulphur gel did nothing for me.
Dr.Drey you did it again! my dear. Looking Stunning! In that Purple Color! PURPLE, Is Your Vibe! You need to wear more purple. I finally Subscribed! LUV ur channel.🥰
I’ve been using the Rovectin Treatment Lotion too for about 8wks now and I’m loving it!!! Very hydrating yet non greasy and I layer it with my moisturizer, sunscreen and make up and doesn’t make my foundation cake at all for the whole day... Thanks for the review Dr. Dray! I’m really enjoying your channel. It’s my morning news on skincare after I watch my news channel.... 👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰
I just using round lab birch juice moisturizing cream and I REALLY LOVE IT. My skin is oily and the cream texture is sooo lightweight. Kinda between gel and cream. Very hydrating but not greasy, more like water. I also feel the soothing and calming on my skin. The packaging also good, they got 2 lids and a spatula too, hygiene ✅ And the sunscreen from this line is also real spf 50 (almost 59) and PA ++++

Hi! After years of clogged pores with moisturizers, I finally found the ingredient that breaks me out: caprylic/capric triglyceride !!!!!!! I just don't understand why, it's such a commonly used ingredient :(
Jin Jung Sung Soothing Moisture Skin Essence (toner)--have not used long-term yet but it feels moisturizing and I don't detect a fragrance. It also comes in a large glass bottle which is probably why I purchased it. Great video Dr. Dray!

Hi Dr Dray. Please do a review of Embryolisse. Especially the Lait Creme concentrate. Thanks for all the great videos 🌸🌸🌸
Dr. Dray, please review other RoundLab products, especially Birch Mositure Sun Cream. The brand is insanely famous in Korea.
Liquids with low viscosity could be decantered into a mist spray bottle for smoother application. Dr Dray is so right, some products do not work for some skin types differences. Because the Sulphur gel did nothing for me.
I love the Rovectin Clean Water Lotus Water Cream.
Dr.Drey you did it again! my dear. Looking Stunning! In that Purple Color! PURPLE, Is Your Vibe! You need to wear more purple. I finally Subscribed! LUV ur channel.🥰
Your skin looks fantastic! ♡
Where to buy those products
iherb has it. faster delivery 25% off for new customers and YesStyle- just takes longer time to arrive
@@marielmejia3847 the shipping here of iherb is expensive
I just using round lab birch juice moisturizing cream and I REALLY LOVE IT. My skin is oily and the cream texture is sooo lightweight. Kinda between gel and cream. Very hydrating but not greasy, more like water. I also feel the soothing and calming on my skin.
The packaging also good, they got 2 lids and a spatula too, hygiene ✅
And the sunscreen from this line is also real spf 50 (almost 59) and PA ++++
Can we please get a review of the “Faded” from topicals line !!!
Very much love the tea tree relief serum from iunik!
Hi Dr.Dray !! Thank u for all your wonderful insights into skincare . I value your opinions and guidance . Could you do a video on korean skincare for mature skin , 50s pleaseee
happy Friday everyone enjoy xo
Thank You!! Happy Friday to You Too!! Have a Great Day!! Xo
To you too 😃😃
Hi! After years of clogged pores with moisturizers, I finally found the ingredient that breaks me out: caprylic/capric triglyceride !!!!!!! I just don't understand why, it's such a commonly used ingredient :(
It's coconut derived. Maybe that's why.
Jin Jung Sung Soothing Moisture Skin Essence (toner)--have not used long-term yet but it feels moisturizing and I don't detect a fragrance. It also comes in a large glass bottle which is probably why I purchased it. Great video Dr. Dray!
ahhh i've been waiting for this video! review cosrx next!!
My skin breaks out with lotion, with cream. So I just quit. Listen to you, as I love all the details.
Oooh! AMPLE:N ceramide shot, BONAJOUR toner and cream, the CUREL brand, SIORIS “you look so young” night cream, BEAUTY OF JOSEON dynasty cream, thank you Dr D!!!
💕😊💖🇨🇦
These are all products I own and enjoy, I’d love to hear your opinion!
Happy Friday, Dr Dray! I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on these Korean products. Hope you have a relaxing evening. 💖
Dr. Dray skins are beautiful. Thank you for giving us great info. Appreciate you so much.

Hey Doctor! You should check out more K-beauty products from Isntree brand.
Happy weekend Dr Dray, hope you have a good one...see you tomorrow x💙🤩
I have a friend who recently had open heart surgery and she was wondering what she should put on her scar so it heals nicely. Suggestions, please...
best to discuss w/the surgeon
If you do try more products from Wishtrend, I recommend their “Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule.” I love this product as it really helped clear up my breakouts early on in the pandemic last year. I also recommend to look into products from KraveBeauty, which is actually founded by Liah Yoo, who is Korean American and also apart of the TH-cam/e-skincare community, where their products are made in S.Korea I believe. As always, thank you for your content and your honesty!
Edit: oops, sorry, I saw that you already reviewed KraveBeauty! 😅👍🏻 on my list to view next! 🙏🏻
She's actually a native Korean who somewhat recently immigrated to the US and personally identifies as such
Korean Skincare is like a treat for me, so exciting hehe
Ur skin looks so good

Have you tried the Rovectin Lotus Cream? I am in love with Rovectin especially when my skin barrier feels compromised.
Thanks Dr Dray! Great video. Will purchase several of these products
Just got that mugwort cream on Nordstrom rack, on sale! :) so excited!
Aww it’s all sold out now! I guess i was late on it. How is it so far?
@@iislandGiirL143 oh damn!! I think you can get it on yesstyle and I herb as well. So far love it, but it’s almost identical to aveeno calm and restore. Both are hard to get though 😂
Really like the rovectin cleanser and serum
Hey dr. Dray 😊, I know this is kind of a dumb request but can you make a video about moisturizers that don’t have any alcohol in them not even any fatty alcohols. My skin is very sensitive to any alcohol and fatty alcohols make me break out. May you please at least give me a drugstore product recommendation of a moisturizer 😭😊 thank you so much dr. Dray . I have acne prone skin and I also have oily skin to, I’m also sensitive to fragrance
