After Several People has recommended your Channel to me I thought it was about time I actually checked your channel out & Subscribed. so Fun Facts I was totally unaware that you could buy & sell Games on Vinted! I'm going to have to look into it now clearly. Cracking Video Fella, really enjoyed it.
@@retrosmashtv I'm pretty Sure this is the only time I'm going to be referred to as Legend. So that's that the Confidence boost I need to see me thought the week :-) Do I follow you on Instagram? I need to rectify that if not. 🙂
I think this is what I’ve been doing just going CEX for ease and selling the more valuable stuff but I’ve found the cheaper stuff sells faster because it’s cheaper. Minimum I try to get is the cash amount for the equivalent CEX voucher. I’ve made this video as I’ve been called out too many times for - but it’s not free is it. Wel have a look £150 from the car boot sale buys which have all been shown says otherwise lol. I’ve still got £70 sat in my rucksack from the boot sales that I can trade in to CEX that I’m not putting on Vinted and the shop is still full of games and stuff. Been a good week for sales
So that Japanese ratchet came with a little bundle I bought off Vinted for £6 which included San Andrea’s and rampage which I wanted. I traded the other game and got like £4 sold the Japanese ratchet for £6.50 so the games were free. Hopefully that makes sense as I always get called out for BUT ITS NOT FREE IS IT
Nah I didn’t get the early bird ticket as I wasn’t sure if I’d get enough cash together to go. But as you can see from this video which I only recorded today is now over £150 as I’ve sold some more bits. So I’ll be there at some point - probably gonna miss all the good stuff
Hello mate. So they have different options. You can use Royal Mail, but they are more expensive. Dependent on what you have available. So the most convenient for me is evri. I use the qr code and it prints the address label in the shop You can take to an inpost locker, they even have yodel. Lots of options. Happy to help further if you need mate. Drop me a message on Instagram. Same user handle
I love it for both mate. But you’ve seen what I’ve sold and I’m up to £150 in just a week, which isn’t bad but just shows what is achievable if you can spend some time taking photos. But my problem is I don’t have the patience. I’m in and out with the goods but I’m sat on over £200 in vouchers right now so I’m in no hurry. Thanks for watching mate. Hope you had a great holiday 👊🏻
Alright mate good content this we have great stores on Vinted I use Vinted alot now because I sell lots on there rather get cash tbh instead of CEX credit! I managed to sell three footy shirts in 15 mins of them going live yesterday I was buzzing tbh 😂
Yeah man, if the price is right it will sell. I really like the ease of Vinted, I have no joy at all on eBay and just end up paying for listing that never sell. I’d much rather use Vinted. And I’ve done alright this week.
@@retrosmashtv It’s the at forward I’m just concerned with the policies that are in place it really annoys me with verification modes and then taxes and all that other shxte we have to deal then I sold on a pop figure pin badge figure on eBay the other week and I made two pound ffs 🤦
@ED-209UHD eBay I can’t stand. I have to pay 36p to list and my listing gets 0 views. Literally 0. Be up for weeks and nothing I’ve given up on eBay. Because they than take a Final Cut at the end
@@retrosmashtv Horrendous mate I got my account banned five years because I refused to pay £25 for a sale of my f1 petrol kyosho car so I was banned but I don’t care I refused to pay I just use my mates account now but I have come away from it now because the fees take the mick
I prefer to use vinted just because I can keep the balance in the vinted account and use that when I wanna buy games. Can no longer do that on eBay now. I have put my vinted on holiday for a while as I'm selling mainly Xbox 360 games and the price on them is gonna rocket soon so obviously going to wait until then.... Followed you on there by the way ,🙌
Oh nice one mate. What’s your username so I can follow back? I think I’ve missed the boat on Xbox 360 if I’m honest. I could try catch up but it’d be me paying more than I want to plus I want a Super Nintendo I think
Honestly chris as someone who buys alot and has sold quite abit before on vinted your prices have always seemed very fair if not on the low end. Ignore em and keep doing what your doing, if it was actually high you wouldnt sell anything which clearly isnt the case. 👍 great vid!
Yeah man! I do agree I just had to say something because these people who think it’s ok to spoil someone’s post is not ok with me. It’s pretty out of order so I’m gonna call them out on it. I know the username who said it, I’m just trying to build my hobby the only way I know how.
You said that you are entitled to sell games on Vinted for whatever you want but previously you have complained about car boot sellers pricing their games at the prices they want. In fact, your argument was that unlike CEX they don't have staff fees and other overheads to worry about so it should be cheaper, yet you yourself say you don't have any fees on Vinted.
Incorrect - I said people priced at stuff CEX prices. Take a look at my shop. They ain’t CEX prices. People are free to charge what they like. It’s a freedom of trade. Doesn’t mean I’m going to buy it. The only fees I have on Vinted is the packaging that I use and the cost of the item I’ve bought. Appreciate your comment but you’ve misunderstood my argument.
@@retrosmashtv but the car boot sellers deciding to sell at market rates (i.e. what CEX charge) is up to them. Of course as you said you don't have to buy it, I never said otherwise. But it feels a little hypocritical to complain about the prices of car boot sellers for matching CEX but then saying you can charge slightly under eBay prices (when eBay is typically the highest price on the market, including CEX).

Have you not thought of doing the Vinted way?
