Collecting vs selling is the hardest decision

Here's what I collected for this year; Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2. Jak Trillogy (Haven't got X yet.) Crash bandicoot wrath of time. GTA san andreas Spyro Sonic gems collection Ratchet and Clank the first game.

My most expensive ps3 game is Afrika and my most expensive ps4 game is Godzilla. My most treasured game in my collection has to be samurai jack battle though time on the ps4, I have the Japanese version but it’s hard to find. I do have some heavy hitters aswell though such as Splatterhouse (ps3), Deadpool (ps4), godfather dons edition (ps3) Afrika (ps3) Spyro the dragon dawn of the dragon (ps3) Godzilla (ps4) Fortnite (original ps4) back to the future the game (ps4) and I’m not finished collecting yet.

I have that GTA collector's edition, in probably a little better quality than that. The posters have the maps on the back! You should have showed them off!

Years ago they used to charge £1.99 for delivery. My wife used to get a massive box from CEX filled with dvd box sets and movies etc. £1.99 postage…. They seen a way to make more money and taken it! Would love to see if there online sales have dropped off since there new policy…

CEX are a joke to when it comes to ordering online and in general scam artists. Tried to trade in a PS4 Pro last year that was fully boxed and played once from new as Im more an Xbox fan. Originally offered me £140 so Im already meh so I leave it for testing. I come back once notified and they tried to say stick drift docking £40 off yet keeping the alleged broken controller, took it back and sold it online for £170 withing few hours. Games in store are usually missing manuals, reprinted covers or in absolute terrible condition. Had a few games Id bought off them, tried to trade them back in and they said thats unacceptable condition yet the same store sold me it. For me, I try to avoid them at all costs unless they really have a game I want and struggling to find a copy anywhere else. Online so far, 7 orders, 4 cancelled and same excuse each time - Game not fit for resale Subscribed to your channel

CEX should deffo combine postage costs if you buy multiple items

CEX are very capable of addressing this issue if combined products are bought from the same shop, it should be a given back in a voucher at the very least. They seem to be behind the times with their antics and the more people bring this up the better. They are big enough to absorb these costs, just greed

As you say its reality, you shouldn’t feel pressure to find all the time, we all make these trips and come back with naff all. Don’t beat yourself over it, it’s just reality and your showing it as it is.

Fantastic video and great tips i fully agree about saying that if the children want stuff then they go and make money i have been doing reselling for 25 years + learnt from my brother we go auctions each week ,scan Facebook marketplace and buy and sell at the carboots never gone wrong with it always learning from videos like yours and i go to about 60- 70 charity shops each week and all i do is sell on the carboots or flip into cex or sell on Facebook marketplace cheers chris

My End Game is to Collect at the very least every title that was released in the PAL Region and than maybe expand later down the road for other region exclusive titles(i have a couple already) but the end game is to get the PAL releases first and than go from there. If i Recall their should be about 1100-1200 total and as of time of writing i have about 1/3 of them aka 400 PLUS I already managed to get a few titles that have started to explode in value. The HD collections i got most of em, The PSN Games im on the hunt before they are no longer available at the store. Im also trying to get some of the more expesive stuff and move downward, cause you know if they are already at that price, majority will double or triple within a decade. ( IF possible i try to get em cheaply as i can. I missed out on the PS1 and PS2 era of collecting but il at least make sure i have the entire set of this one while it is still mostly cheap to collect and before they all disappear. GL everyone.
