We already know that they are filming in Spain. In the first episode, they will film on a set made to look like England and then will sail to Spain. The subsequent shots from the promo show that they are filming in distinctly Spanish locations, so it is definitely mean to represent Spain. So far there has been no (conclusive) explanation on why they went to Spain

i dont mind them having daryl and carol return to the common wealth and asking where is leront and them saying : who ? and the show ends. that relationship is pushed , and daryl crying is pushed as well, he didnt do that with any OG TWD kid , not Judith not rick jr , and he was the only one looking after them, and left them to look for rick, then once he found leront suddenly he completely forgot what got him into that ship and France in the first place. i think it ends with rick going there looking for him, since he's a boss of an army now while daryl was playing French , daryl is good alone, not a babysitter , traveling multiple countries looking for rick and we meet multiple interesting characters they live and die and through daryl we see what the rest of the world looks like , but non , lets stay in France for 2 seasons and make it about a hint at immune un interesting boy , btw they never explained that scene on the French sewer catacomb , when leront put his hands on his head and the walkers laterally walking passed him towards daryl, he didnt even have that walker blood to be invisible . the last of us is good enough, we dont want another man and a little kid adventure .

Getting to the Commonwealth and him not being there doesn’t make sense unless Gimple decides to end that story while pissing off a good amount of his audience. And while he’s pretty good at that, I don’t see him finishing the whole franchise that way.

The phone was explained poorly in the show. She basically tell's Daryl that her feelings came back about Sophia and this weird anxiety she now has throughout the show when she see's barn doors.
