Never expected this final and great look. Of course the lining of drawers is a good move snd the osint washed legs and knobs sre just right. Embracing the plain contiurs eith added moldings and straight painting makes it though. No stenciling, spongings, etc. Someone is going to have a gem . Thank you.
Wow! I think I would have run screaming if I saw that piece! Kudos to you for fixing it and making it beautiful. I love that you put inserts into the drawers rather than contact paper. ❤
It never ceases to amaze me how much work goes into these pieces. That's why I don't do them very often. But really gorgeous. This lady takes her time and puts in extra quality. work. Very good.
It is absolutely beautiful. Makeup vanities are my favourite pieces to do and sell the best on my Etsy shop. I love the color you made. Congratulations.
I think you did a wonderful job, this is the 1st of your videos i have seen ,it cam across the feed i clicked ,,im impressed,,,you took a very ruff looking vanity to its beauty,,anyones day will be brighter getting ready at this vanity😊
Loved the result...have you ever considered buying your self a laser paint remover. Soooo much quicker...I wonder why i never see anyone on youtube doing a demo using a laser paint remover...greetings from Australia you are doing a great job...
When you did the closeup I wanted to cry for you! It was the most ugliest thing I'd ever seen. But as usual you worked your magic and turned it into a gorgeous transformation! Fantastic job!
Just curious, was the primer water based, and would an oil based primer have yielded a different result? Really glad you came into my feed!! Beautiful, I love what you did with it!
As a furniture refurbisher who is not on ytube, I wld NEVER have picked this job! BUT If i had to, i wld have scuffed it real good, then use shellac based primer, zinnser 2 coats. Let it fully cure, then paint! Otherwise it would never be profitable all that time/materials 😢 financially not viable but we'll done, the result was stunning!
I appreciate the advice. I am actually donating it to a toy drive and auction that benefits foster families in my community. So totally worth it in the end. Thank you for watching. 🤍
I am confused. How long did it take you? How much did it cost you in expenses? What did you sell it for? Unless you are in love with a piece to keep for yourself I think that was a keep the legs piece. It looks nice but t's still painted MDF. I don't get it.
It took 3 days. I had the paint on hand. I got it for free and am donating it to a toy drive and auction, benefiting children. It may be Mdf but it was still in decent condition, structurally. Totally worth my time and effort. I appreciate the watch. 🤍
I LOVE this!! 🩵 It’s FLIPPIN amazing!! 😆 See what I did there…?? Bet you never heard that before!! Lol 🙄 Seriously though it’s beautiful. Well done you!! 💗👍🏼⭐
I think you just showed us all even MDF can come back to life. I love how you lined the drawers, I think that was brilliant!
Never say never 🤓
That striped paint job is impressive though 😅

It’s so rewarding to see a piece come together with such simple details!
I would never have had the courage to attempt this 'makeover'. The result of your patience and vision is inspiring! And beautiful!
Thank you! Sometimes you just have to jump in and trust the process.
Wow! I think I would have run screaming if I saw that piece! Kudos to you for fixing it and making it beautiful. I love that you put inserts into the drawers rather than contact paper. ❤
That was my first thought too! 😂

It definitely is a lot of work, but it’s also very rewarding. 😊
Wow... someone tried real hard with that paint job, not gonna lie, I kinda respect the effort lol
Beautiful color, great hardware and lining the drawers was a nice added touch!
First of all, love your channel. You have a ton of style and skill. You took this from beast to beauty!
Thank you so much 😀

Once I found the Formica I think I would have trashed. I'm very impressed with your perseverance!!! Great job!
It’s not always easy. But it’s rewarding. 😊
Dramatic transformation! AWESOME!!!!!! GORGEOUS COLOR and handles!
Not once did I think you'd give up on this piece. End result is "STUNNING."
🤓
Beautiful upgrade .
Nice save. Also thank you for your presentation style and fast forwarding the sanding.
I'm glad you liked the fast forwarding! No one wants to watch a bunch of sanding, right?
@ItsAboutFlippinTime I see enough sanding in my own shop
It turned out beautiful
Beautiful! You did an amazing job!!!💕
Thank you so much! I love how it turned out!

I'm so happy you found my channel! 😊
I would of picked up the piece for the legs alone... Beautiful work!
Absolutely lovely
I think it is beautiful now! The drawer liners you made are incredible! I'm glad you restored this little pressed wood vanity and gave it new life. 😊
It was fun to give it a new life. 😊
Love it. Reminds me of the vanity we got my youngest way back when. Hers was natural wood( most likely an MDF as well)
Another beautiful piece.
I appreciate that!
It’s gorgeous!
So beautiful!
Just a beauty!
Saw it and just had to subscribe
It turned out beautifully! It’s a shame that it wasn’t wood but you made it look great.
It definitely was a challenge!
Okay, the original is REALLY COOL, but it is a specific taste.
😮 Amazing!
Lovely!
Looks great for what you had to work with. Looks a lot better
I agree! 😊
Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! 😊
I wouldn't have picked it up for free for firewood! Turned out beautiful.
Such amazing results! Plan C with applied moldings really suits this vanity well as does the paint color and the beautiful hardware. I love your work!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful and quite a job.
I appreciate the compliment!

I’ve never thought of that, but will have to look into it.

It was water based. Good question. I need to check into that. And thank you. ☺️

How did you prep the Formica for paint? Sand? Primer?
Gave it a really good sanding so it was scuffed up enough for a primer to adhere to.
@ Thank you!!

If it went to charity and it made you happy that's a good job then 😊
It did 😬
In my opinion the before was pretty horrible! You turned that piece into a beautiful vanity. Great job!
I’m glad you agree! It was definitely a labor of love.
Someone did that on purpose?
Right 🤪
Nooooooo, es madera natural.
I LOVE this!! 🩵 It’s FLIPPIN amazing!! 😆 See what I did there…?? Bet you never heard that before!! Lol 🙄 Seriously though it’s beautiful. Well done you!! 💗👍🏼⭐
I’m so happy you loved it! And yes, I may have heard that once or twice. 🤓
