Out of all the versions I have heard of this song including John Mayer's, I believe this should have been the true voice and structure of this song because this hits so hard. The energy here is just so damn right. Thank you so much for this beautiful cover. :')

The understated elegance with which she performs these parts belies their mechanical and rhythmic complexity. Her feel and her technical proficiency are simply astounding.
I keep coming back to this performance. Her vocal phrasing is so perfect and straight forward. All while accompanying herself with a pretty complex chordal arrangement. Ain't none of that be easy!

I have flat picked like that for 50+ years. I think she’s the only other player I’ve seen that does. It was a compromise between me and my partner’s finger picking style, and she does it beautifully. What a beautiful song!
