I'm glad Santino isn't on the judges panel anymore, I'm always reminded about how on his season of Project Runway he did the worst out of the 3 finalists. Alyssa was right about don't get bitter just get better 😂
Jamine Kennedie handled her elimination like a trooper, but I really felt for her. Imagine going through three lip syncs already, then losing three more lip syncs in one episode when lip syncing is one of the skills you're most confident in. Probably one of the closest moments I could think of that can compare to Yara's complete exhaustion on the sweatshop season.
Jaymes’ elimination when she says “sometimes you have to realize that some dreams just aren’t meant for you” and she starts crying and then I start crying 😭
When trinity said “I was so close” I cried, I started sobbing Cuase TKB deserved to be in the top 4 (I wanted her to win) I don’t remember any other queen making me sob like TKB did for AS6 after her elimination.
Yeah, made no sense why she didn't get another chance. All the other eliminated queens got a chance to lip synch their way back into the competition, like Eureka. Wasn't fair.
Thank god I purposefully spoiled as6's elimination order for myself before the season because I don't think I would've been able to deal with the episode
Honestly? Heidi n Closets elimination was absolutely devastating for me. Even though Jaida crushed her in the lip sync, seeing her go really broke my heart. She was such the heart and soul of the season imo.
The fact that miss Rock was bashed for fart humor then later crystal flung poop of her leg in a comedy challenge THEN in season 14 we had a acting challenge where farting was the joke and most of the cast was high 😳
I literally just rewatched Yara's elimination. I think one of the main contributing factors to the intense sadness she felt during her final lipsync, for me, was that she had just pleaded her case to win the crown because she was broke. Like that was such a huge and painful thing for her that this whole competition was about her getting out of debt and living a 'normal' life. Plus the weight of the competition. All those design challenges. Season 3 was a slog. She must have felt so emotional. It's really deeply upsetting to watch. I feel for her. Hope she's ok financially now.
also, what broke me is that she WAS (along with alexis) set-up to fail because manila and raja got extra time on the design challenge to finish their garments that alexis and yara did not have, showing the clear intention on who they want it's almost as clear as when jiggly caliente got a note from production from season 4 telling she was going home that day no matter what
@@alexandrarodriguez9717 I don't think you realize how expensive drag is. You have to spend money to make money (and yes, that often includes surgeries). So even when you make a lot of it, a lot of it goes toward keeping your job
Also, she won the mini challenge, and as a price they gave her more fake money to use in her outfit, implying that she should use it. Then they read her runway and put her in the bottom for "having too much." It didn't make any sense.
Her breakdown during that lip sync will never not rip my heart out. To go through so much then be told no, not just no but to face knocking out someone who has been so kind to you the whole time. I understand her breakdown completely
Aja in All Stars, it wasn't a sad elimination and I know it's talked about to death but the sheer anger and betrayal I felt with her elimination still sticks with me
I think Widow's "it just feels like it was all for nothing" and then the Firework lipsync was the saddest to me. She was already broken, she should not have been in the bottom, and performed one of the most chilling lip syncs of all time.
the nerve to let trinity think she'd made top four only to rip it away from her was just cruel. production did everything in their power to keep her out of the top four, and in my opinion it made for a lackluster ending to a great season. overall, fantastic season but the way they treated her kept it from being one of my favorites when it easily could have been. i'm glad her career has taken off and she's finally getting the praise and recognition she deserves from the fandom, but her elimination is just brutal on so many levels.
"Losing Ongina was kind of like the show losing it's innocence..." This is like grad school level narrative analysis, and also just incredibly insightful. You don't have nearly as many subs as you should
Sending Alyssa home in AS2 on the 1 year anniversary of her moms death, just for Detox to keep Roxxxy who DID NOT deserve to be in the top, was absolutely gut wrenching for me. Alyssa deserved to be in the top 4, not Roxxxy. Ralaskatox was so toxic
Seeing Chi Chi made me tear up, though I agree with you. She did so good on season 8 and AS3. But also she proved you don't need a ton of money to be fashionable and she was such a talented dancer. Rest in peace, Chi Chi DeVayne. 💗🌹
chi chi devayne is up there w the saddest eliminations. As a louisianian, it made me so happy to see someone from the state make it big. And the fact she vocally said how broke she was made me cry even more at her elimination…. Like she made it so far yet still didn’t make it
I love her, but you probably forgot that she was always in the bottom on AS3 and it wasn't a surprise when she was eliminated, everyone kinda knew it was coming, even her. Not saying she's bad, but her track record didn't look so good.
Chi Chi's treatment in All Stars was wrong on so many levels. You could see how much that first loss gutted her and watch the light in her eyes die with every bottom placement. Her run was a stain compared to how great she was on season 8 and now we'll never see what could have been. RIP queen
For me, I'd add Silky in AS6. She was so worried about getting harassed by fans again that she completely watered down her personality and it got her eliminated. I found it especially sad that it took that before a good number of fans finally tried showing more empathy for her. Though her at the S11 finale, all checked out and ready to go home, also made me very sad. I also thought Honey in S11 was sad. She was sent home by 5 people after the most unexpected lip sync ever. When she realizes she's not being saved, after seeing all of her sisters get saved... Ugh, I got emotional.
@@JoshuaBd Yeah, I was so excited to see her back and the judges seemed to just forget about it. I completely agreed with her decision not to come back for the Smackdown, she'd clearly gotten everything out of the show that was possible for her.
I know that Nina Bonina, i mean was not robbed in elimination, but till this day, her elimination is the only time i ever cried for someone's elimination, hers was the saddest for me, seeing her look lifeless and struggling with what people fantasise about was heartbreaking 💔
Fr. Seeing her lip sync to cool for the summer and just seem so defeated, knowing damn well she could turn the party to that song was heartbreaking to watch. And also cause she was easily top 4 material. There was something so endearing about watching a sad bunny lip sync to Demi Lovato. If she came back to All Stars I think she’d demolish the competition.
@@TommysSketches I wish I could see Nina on Drag Race again one day; she's my favorite queen. But to be honest... I think the show would only harm her on purpose, and I don't want to see that -- same reason I don't want to see Scarlet Envy and Thorgy back again.
Katya on season 7... she was ready to go, but that made it more sad. Even though she was just out of steam, she still kept up with Kennedy better than any other queen on that season could. She fought so hard, harder than she thought she could, and just barely missed out on the finale. There was a spot in the finale for her. It was just decided long beforehand that it was going to someone who didn't actually want to be there.
Yes! But also the way she and Kennedy were edited that episode was clearly trying to make us root for Katya, she was the hero strugglin with anxiety, and Kennedy being so mean felt like the villain, so I was shocked and sad to see katya leave
Chi Chi, Mo Heart and Yara all were a special brand of sad. It was so different for them. My heart was shattered for all of them. Also, Chi Chi was one of the best. I think of her so fondly and often. She deserved so much more.
Honestly, Season 9 had three sad eliminations in my opinion: Yes, Valentina's was sad but seeing such a talented artist like Nina leave in this totally defeated mind set and an equally sad performance was heart-breaking as well as Sasha destroying the frontrunner Shea because Trinity and Peppermint had an anti-producer pact to make it to the Top 2.
@@CH-tj2ru: Both Peppermint and Trinity knew that the producers wanted a Sasha vs Shea lipsync in the end as they pverheard a conversation. Peppermint already knew that she wouldn't win because they filmed both all of the four advancing to the finals as well as her elimination to have a Top 3. So in order for Trinity or Peppermint to have the chance to at least get Top 2, they made a pact with each other: If the wheel lands on one of them, they would choose each other as the lipsync opponent so that Shea and Sasha have to lipsync against each other in the penultimate instead of the final lipsync.
Honestly, one of the saddest ones for me was Scarlett Envy on AS6. Like, it's not really a tear jerker but like at that point I was waiting for her to return cuz she was slept on in season 11, then she performs really good on the first two episodes of AS6 (honestly she should've won the ball hands down) and is safe for her entire run then she gets chopped. I don't think her bottom placement on that pink table talk was justified, and also at that point Jan's edit was really annoying like no shade to Jan but the version of her that we were being shown was not it at that point. Then just the sheer look of disappointment on Scarlett's face when Ginger says her name... I wanted to see that bitch shine on Drag Race so much TwT
totally agree, the edit they gave jan was so annoying, i liked jan on s12, but on AS6 they just pushed and pushed and pushed that narrative, and i found myself wanting her to go home just so i wouldnt have to deal with it for another episode
for me it’s ivy winters, she was doing well and she was a so talented but still polite and when she went home jinkx was sobbing because it was her last friend there and she knew she’d be stuck with coco vs alyssa + rolaskatox it’s so heartbreaking for both of them.
Blair st Claires elimination in season 10 was so sad to me. she revealed something so personal and raw about herself only to be sent home directly after
@@niekklaver3030 to be fair The Vixen slayed the lip sync and was involved in drama, there was no way they were getting rid of her for Blair at that point sadly.
honestly, it's not a tragedy or tearjerker, but valentina hit me. that was the first season i ever watched in real time, and i was obsessed with her. she was stunning, funny, polished, looked like linda evangelista etc. it was refreshing to also see a hispanic/ latinx queen not being treated like the crazy kooky ESL queen all the time. i hope in general we get to see more POC getting far in the competition.
Kornbread’s made me a bit emotional because of Willow in the confessional. I think a contestant getting medically sent home is just a guarantee to be incredibly sad especially if they get a video message to say goodbye along with it, unless you’re not really well received by the fandom.
This. The way she kind of gave up/just wanted to get it over with. I wish it had started some conversations. The show made her look like it was just being negative, while she was going through a lot of anxiety.
Honestly, I feel like that’s why All Stars Season 6 works so well. You’re so sad when the queens go. You’re sad that Serena is kind of treated like a joke, Yara who was a darling on her season being portrayed in a darker tone, Jan losing to herself and “in her head too much” delusion storyline, Pandora being ignored and eventually eliminated, Silky not getting as far she she deserved, Akeria bringing THE FASHION yet still getting cut, Trinity K Bonet losing her spot in the Top 4 when she was so close, etc… It’s honestly my favorite season of USA drag race so far. It’s such a good season where there really isn’t any villains (sometimes Ginger is portrayed a little shady but Ginger admits she’s competitive and strategic). It’s just a really great show where all these queens are doing so well, so while you’re entertained by their performances and runways, it is hard to see them leave!
Valentina’s elimination was one that I truly didn’t see coming based on the entire season story line. I remember watching it for the first time like “Huh? What is going on??” And in relation to Shangela’s all star robbery? I can’t even watch AS3 at all because of how it ended.
To me, Dovima’s was so emotional because you saw her giving in to her heart and letting down the bitch facade, and basically making up with Sagittaria, and especially Carmen’s reaction in the background had me sobbing! I don’t speak Spanish, and so for the emotion to break past the language barrier was surprising to me
Talking about Ongina opening up about her hiv status made me tear up. Shes such a beautiful soul and such a trailblazer for so many people in our community ❤️
Yara was tired of the blatant cheating that people were getting away with. She called out Raja in the previous ep she had went home in. Then said it again in the Untucked ep she went home in. That's what makes her elimination so bad
Totally agree. She won the mini challenge and as a prize they gave her extra fake money to use on her costume, implying that would be an advantage. Then on the runway they read her (very beautiful) outfit for having "too much" on it. If that's not a set up, I don't know what is
When it aired, I was devastated that Max was eliminated. It was the first time while watching the show that I had seen such a ludicrous “delusional” edit and that she, who had up until this point been doing a wonderful job, was shafted for story.
Mo on S10 feels kind of overlooked as a sad elimination, but it definitely made me sad. It says something about the financial pressure it puts on queens to keep up with other queens, who have all of these resources available.
in hindsight, ive seen a lot of people voicing discontent over trixie’s second elimination in s7 especially because they were judged in pairs. obv theres a lot of bias towards her now so people watching now found it really sad to see her go but in untucked she thought she would win the challenge- she was just dragged down by having ginger as a partner. also when she leaves they film her tap dancing by herself which is lowkey funny LOL but made to look sad i think
Pangina's elimination was the reason why I stopped watching UK vs The World... especially when you had Baga Chips there and Jujubee doing mediocre at best
I still can't get over Yara's elimination. It's gut wrenching. It's so weird how they portray her in all stars 6, I never finished the season. I can't stand seeing one of my favorite queens being portrayed as a villain for character traits that on another season she was praised for.
my saddest one is tkb on as6 also bc I was just mad without the "everyone is in the bottom" twist (ik it happens always but it's still a twist imo), her track record would've been perfectly fine. the girls kept saying how she's been in the bottom so much when in reality without the twist she would not have been in the bottom except for 2 times (snatch game & talent show) but what really messed it up for me was them having her already in the top 4 and then...
When Ongina won that Viva Glam challenge, I was 100% sure she was the winner of S1. I was rooting so bad for her, (and for Nina of course). So yes, that was the first ever heartbreaking sashay.
I’m still not over UKVTW, I hadn't seen Pangina or Janey's original seasons and they ended up being my favourite two queens there so seeing them go one after the other right before the finale really stung.
Ukvtw just seems so sad… and if I was Pangina I would’ve sent Lemon home too, a queen a like a LOT, just because Janey is repping a franchise with less viewership
Honestly if you have Wow+, watch Holland S1 and Thailand S2. They’re both amazing seasons. Janey rlly gets her chance to shine on S1 of Holland, and imo S2 of Thailand showcases the best of Pangina as a judge
@@_.Idk._ I watched Thailand Season 1 on Sandro Christilin's channel for free. IMO Thailand is one of the best franchises. Also look up "Pangina Heals on Lip Sync Battle Thailand". Stunning.
Some Honorable mentions for sure Ivy Winters S5- sure, she deserved to go home, but it was clear that from the storyline that season has, Ivy was the only one in Jinkx's corner, and her elimination definitely had that weight. Katya S7- I can't tell if it's because she's a fan favorite or not, but her elimination felt incorrect. Yes Kennedy is the winner, but I think most agree it should've been a double shantay, She had the storyline of the season Tatiana and Alyssa Edwards AS2- both times they were eliminated it was incorrect, however I think most of it comes from how the season went instead of being the heart of the season. These next 3 I can't tell if it's personal biase or not. Nina Bonina Brown S9- she deservedly went home, but you can tell she had gotten to herself. Her thoughts got the best of her and it was written all over her face. In that particular lipsync, the only one I'm watching is Nina. Personally, there's a lot of emotion to feeling your emotions during what sounds like a happy, upbeat song. Scarlet Envy S11 and AS6- maybe I'm just a Scarlet fan so it's clouding my judgment, but her eliminations you can see her heartbreak. You can see how bad she wants it. Widow Von'Du S12- you can see the world is crushing in around her much like Nina Bonina Brown, the self doubt and all those other negative emotions are pouring down on her, not to mention the lipsync she goes in, the runway theme, and her specific look, it all ties in and her elimination feels nasty.
No I 100% agree with you on the Scarlette elimination in S11. Like you see her put her everything into her lipsync to stay. Like she threw everything but the kitchen sink into that lipsync and it wasn't enough. Like i remember being flabbergasted when that aired.
the only 2 queens i felt so sad about being elimated was quite recent. TKB on as6 broke me cuz she deserved top4 and jimbo on uk vs the world. both eliminationa felt too early even tho tkb was right at the end of the comp. they are probably my favourite drag artists ever including lawrence chaney and lana jarae
i specifically remember heidi and nina west’s eliminations being so upsetting to me just because they’re so sweet and loveable. tbh everybody on season 12, mainly from jan through to jackie at the top 5 was sad to me. i guess i just got really attached to them because that was the lockdown season and i felt more invested than usual.
Definitely Pandora getting eliminated after the first challenge in All Stars 1. She knew she was doomed from the moment she got paired with Mimi Imfurst. The other would be those lip syncs in the first episode of DR season 13, where queens were under the impression they were going home with out having done anything. That was sick cruelty.
I didn’t even realise how much I adored Denali until her elimination, I was full on sobbing. Going into season 13 she was actually my least favorite queen (don’t ask me how but it was the same for Lady Camden and she also became my favorite of 14, it’s bizarre) but over the episodes my fondness for her must’ve grown without my knowledge. I was more devastated by her elimination more than I was for Rock’s, and now Denali is my favorite queen of all the seasons ever. Someone stole Adore’s spot as my favorite of all time. (I also didn’t like Adore at all during the first two episodes the first time I watched season 6, looking back I’m also confused as to why because she’s so deeply charming.)
Lemons uk elimination and vanjies first elimination really hurt my heart more than any others... they cut deep. Just to see their heartbroken disappointment was too much for me
What about Nina bonina brown elimination ? that was one of the most heartbreaking eliminations ever where she did the lip-sync being a sad defeated bunny and how she pretty much gave the win to Shea to proceed on the competition .. watching that lip-sync to this day breaks my heart, and Ru calling her Andre charles ( Ru's real name ) being part of his family and to being left out and not being supported by Rupaul and the drag community cuts deep :( .. i'm kinda disappointed in you TDD for not including her
I mean if we're talking Eliminations that make the audience cry, Alyssa Edward's second elimination on AS2 has me tearing up every time I see it; no matter how many times I see it. It's just the mix of seeing how much she was struggling that challenge because of all the emotion of that being the first time she saw her sister since her mother's passing... it's a lot. It's too much. Being eliminated on the anniversary of her mother's death, and seeing her sister be so distraught over her being eliminated... Genuinely surprised that moment isn't even mentioned on this list but hey, whatever.
I'm surprised Silky's elimination on AS6 wasn't included. It was obvious that she was so defeated after the backlash she received during season 11 and her speech on the way out just mad her elimination even sadder
and then her stunt malfunctioning in the final lip sync. obv makes sense for storyline purposes because she missed a lot of episodes which wouldn't be fair. but it was still sad
Sad? Nah. I couldn't have been happier. She wasn't good at anything and most people disliked her in Season 11 cause her wins weren't deserved and the constant favoritism from the judges.
Yara has been my favorite queen since forever. Her elimination is the most heartbreaking moment ever from all the seasons. I love this queen so much and I was devastated that the producers chose the villain storyline for her on AS6.
a really sad one for me was a’keria on as6 i am such a big fan of her and to see her yk not do too hot the whole season and a few episodes prior tell her best friend to send her home to make sure she’s not the target for weeks to come it was just a lot and then when she was eliminated she left with such grace and poise i literally love that queen so much. i also really admired how she felt that she came and did what she wanted to do so she didn’t waste anybodys time or take someone’s spot and backed out of the lipsyncs
I know this elimination was inevitable but Samantha Ballentine’s on Drag Race Espana Season 2. You can tell that every judge wanted her to stay, but as soon as she was in the bottom for a third time it kind of sealed her fate. You can see the heartbreak on the Javis’ faces as she starts being funny during an emotional lipsync. Seeing Supremme nearly cry made me cry - I also cried a little when Drag Sethlas left, mainly bc of how much she meant to the other queens
I was so happy to see her go. She did the same thing in every lip sync, was messy and sent girls home by undressing and messing up the stage? Hell nah.
Yes, exactly! She's that authentic brand of weird that makes me so happy. I watched that second lip sync (against Ariel) several time because it cracked me up so. Such a childlike lack of restraint 💗
Honestly seeing Katya go home at the Top 5 was one of those moments. Knowing how much she struggled on S7 to see her go home after the epic lipsync against Kennedy was pretty heartbreaking. Maybe the season by itself wasn’t the most eventful, Katya’s journey was still one that the fans were particularly gravitated towards.
I been there. I seen it. I have watched all of US drag race and most spinoffs. No elimination felt more rigged and undeserved than TKB, as6. I got up out of my seat and shouted at my screen. Could not believe it.
I didn't watch TKB's elimination and I probably won't tbh. I think I saw what happened on Twitter before the episode aired and I was floored. She did so well the entire season and she deserved to be in the top 4. Definitely the most heartbreaking one for me.
Kornbread breaking her ankle hurt, especially when we saw Willow's reaction (you know Ms. Bread would have immediately helped her with those glamazon challenge boxes). And I'm really happy you included Shangela here because yeah I'm still not over that, if Dela was happy without the crown, it was Shangela's turn.
If the channel made content about non-english speaking franchises and waited a few days, Juriji would definitely be in this video. Also, Drag Race España was able to develop the contestants SO well in the editing of the episodes that almost every elimination was very sad. Also, how the judges, especially Supremme genuinely cared about those girls, made everything so emotional...
i remember crying on all of these eliminations, and i'm sobbing right now :'( one i would add is dela's in as3: even tho she chose it and we're super satified with herself, it was such a *we were all rooting for you* moment, she dominated like no one before and since her. also, it's sad because with the announcement of as7, we could have had her and jinkx together, which would have been really cool
I know a lot of you dont warch espana, but Dovima's last lipsync, her elimination and her explaining why she did not put up a fight was THE best tearjerker telenovela moment in drag race history, fight me
Pangina's elimination stung the most for me out of any recent ones. She is so professional, she was so prepared (beyond prepared really) for the competition and only made it half way. Obviously she's going to be fine, but in that moment, I bet she thought her career was over. I'm so proud of everything she has and will accomplish.
I found Silkys on AS6 is quite sad because I understand she's there trying to redeem herself but leave feeling like she never got the time to do so and she'll never get the opportunity again. Thankfully an hour later she finds out she's one more chance 😂
Silky ganache in all stars 3 was heartbreaking!!! Just hearing how the toxic online hate broke her down into a shell of herself making her get in her head about the competition was so tragic.
I know I'm months late, but I was reminded that the elimination that really made me sad and angry was Veronica Green on UK3. They showed us how much she struggled, how much she went through during the pandemic, then she has to go through it again for a second season only to be sent home like a filler queen when they could have easily saved her due to Victoria's elimination. And when she said "Not now, not like this" it really broke my heart, and of course I stopped watching that season.
Also for the international seasons: Drag Sethlas and Onyx on Espana S2 and Elektra Shock on Down Under S1 both hurt me, just because I really grew attached to them and wanted them to stay
The latest españa elimination was the saddest in my eyes though :( Spoiler: It's so sad seeing Juriji go home without a win when she did soooo well in the second half of the season. Especially when she performed great in the challenge (everyone but venedita did) and got better critiques than Estrella. And while wearing her grandma's crochet 😭 and lip syncing against her best friend in the competition, the way they kissed and hugged at the end of the lip sync broke me, because it was clear they were gonna keep Vene.
Honestly Laganja’s elimination in season 6 made me sad in a different way than a lot of these. It was sad to watch a queen that it clearly extremely talented become so beat down by the criticism of the judges and her competitors. The competition had obviously put her in a bad headspace, and she just seemed to break midway through the critiques for the stand up episode. I’m so glad that she’s in a better place now and is thriving, but her S6 elimination (looking back on it now) is sad just because of what all occurred leading up to to
TKB was the saddest elimination I've ever seen. She was horribly mistreated by production as well as by her sisters. TO be backstabbed by Eureka like that is so unfathomable to me. I felt so bad for her.
Jimbo and Pangina are the ultimate sad eliminations for me, I’d also say Aja on as3 was really sad too because she had been doing so well and was put (imo undeservingly) in the bottom and dragged by the judges just to get sent home by the person she helped with their garment she was the young underdog of as3 who had a lot to prove and did so well against titans of drag race :(
There are a few that made me quite sad, being Shuga Cain, Widow Von’du, Mrs Kasha Davis, Thorgy Thor both times, Aja AS3, and TKB in AS6 - they were all amazing queens who were mistreated by production so much
In All Stars 6, Silky and Scarlet should be on this list to for different reasons each. Scarlet Envy on Season 11 had a sad elimination as well because of her getting robbed in the lipsync and losing to the then-villain of the season.

Aja in All Stars, it wasn't a sad elimination and I know it's talked about to death but the sheer anger and betrayal I felt with her elimination still sticks with me
That's literally me with Shuga Cain on season 11
I think Widow's "it just feels like it was all for nothing" and then the Firework lipsync was the saddest to me. She was already broken, she should not have been in the bottom, and performed one of the most chilling lip syncs of all time.
Widow was severely underrated and deserved to be in the top many times
I know Manila being eliminated by Naomi Smalls is an iconic moment in RPDR herstory but I was really sad to see her go.

the nerve to let trinity think she'd made top four only to rip it away from her was just cruel. production did everything in their power to keep her out of the top four, and in my opinion it made for a lackluster ending to a great season. overall, fantastic season but the way they treated her kept it from being one of my favorites when it easily could have been. i'm glad her career has taken off and she's finally getting the praise and recognition she deserves from the fandom, but her elimination is just brutal on so many levels.
I think it’s more that they wanted Eureka in the finale
Not really because she choose Pep and she got ate up by Pep. I love Trinity but her elimination isn't that bad because it's reasonable
@@dyannthaphannthom8811 bestie they meant tkb...
What Trinity are we talking about here
When TKB said “I was so close” it made me cry but like angry cry cause I wanted TKB to win or at least fight for the crown
Rock M. Sakura is still one of the saddest eliminations, only maybe the eliminations of Jimbo and Pangina on UK vs The World are up there with it.
It really wasnt. Ugly crying isnt always a sad elimination
Rock M is messy
I mean she was messy but at least she tried Aiden did not do anything and I loved her energy honestly.
Yara sofia s3 was the first elimination that made me cry
for me, heidi was one of if not the most emotional
"Losing Ongina was kind of like the show losing it's innocence..."
This is like grad school level narrative analysis, and also just incredibly insightful.
Ralaskatox was so toxic
and the fact that detox later revealed that once she was on stage and about to lip sync she wanted to switch her lip stick to roxxxy but couldn’t
Seeing Chi Chi made me tear up, though I agree with you. She did so good on season 8 and AS3. But also she proved you don't need a ton of money to be fashionable and she was such a talented dancer. Rest in peace, Chi Chi DeVayne. 💗🌹
Truly gone too soon
chi chi devayne is up there w the saddest eliminations.
@@Shane3125 oh, actually I was referencing her season 8 elimination. AS3 didn’t sting as much, but her S8 very much did.
how is that possible to see a wataru pfp HERE
Chi Chi's treatment in All Stars was wrong on so many levels.
Same with A’keria the judges over looked her and it was heartbreaking
@@JoshuaBd Yeah, I was so excited to see her back and the judges seemed to just forget about it. I completely agreed with her decision not to come back for the Smackdown, she'd clearly gotten everything out of the show that was possible for her.
I know that Nina Bonina, i mean was not robbed in elimination, but till this day, her elimination is the only time i ever cried for someone's elimination, hers was the saddest for me, seeing her look lifeless and struggling with what people fantasise about was heartbreaking 💔
Yes!!
weirdly when ms Paul called her nina bonina brown Andre charles it warmed my cold dead heart slightly
She just should have been Black China.
Chi Chi will forever have a space in my heart
Same.
Completely agree.
Trinity and Peppermint outsmarted the producers, I love it.
What’s the anti-producer pact?! I’m living for this concept

Blair st Claires elimination in season 10 was so sad to me. she revealed something so personal and raw about herself only to be sent home directly after
I was so surprised that she got send home after that speech
@@niekklaver3030 to be fair The Vixen slayed the lip sync and was involved in drama, there was no way they were getting rid of her for Blair at that point sadly.
keep in mind I haven't watched untucked, but the fact that they barely even talked about it afterwards...
honestly, it's not a tragedy or tearjerker, but valentina hit me. that was the first season i ever watched in real time, and i was obsessed with her. she was stunning, funny, polished, looked like linda evangelista etc. it was refreshing to also see a hispanic/ latinx queen not being treated like the crazy kooky ESL queen all the time. i hope in general we get to see more POC getting far in the competition.
Pangina’s crying was heard all the way through the ending credits.
Kornbread’s made me a bit emotional because of Willow in the confessional. I think a contestant getting medically sent home is just a guarantee to be incredibly sad especially if they get a video message to say goodbye along with it, unless you’re not really well received by the fandom.
Nina’s was stacked against her cause even though she could out pre form Shea they’d never choose Nina over her.
I know and that's extremely sad and angering 😡 Nina bonina Brown is Gold 🪙🥇
This. The way she kind of gave up/just wanted to get it over with. I wish it had started some conversations. The show made her look like it was just being negative, while she was going through a lot of anxiety.
Nina Bo’nina brown… Andre Charles.
Me 😭😭😭
Honestly, I feel like that’s why All Stars Season 6 works so well. You’re so sad when the queens go. You’re sad that Serena is kind of treated like a joke, Yara who was a darling on her season being portrayed in a darker tone, Jan losing to herself and “in her head too much” delusion storyline, Pandora being ignored and eventually eliminated, Silky not getting as far she she deserved, Akeria bringing THE FASHION yet still getting cut, Trinity K Bonet losing her spot in the Top 4 when she was so close, etc…
It’s honestly my favorite season of USA drag race so far. It’s such a good season where there really isn’t any villains (sometimes Ginger is portrayed a little shady but Ginger admits she’s competitive and strategic). It’s just a really great show where all these queens are doing so well, so while you’re entertained by their performances and runways, it is hard to see them leave!
There’s silky slaying the game within a game and eureka being annoying and knocking her out the finale 😡
You refering to AS3 as an "early all star season" shook me to my core cause you're right but it made me feel so old omg I'm just 22 lmao
The fact that its only 4 years old but like more than 10 seasons ago in the whole Drag Race universe is insane
same and same, like "what do you mean early I just watched it this summer, when I was a small child of 18..." time flies 😩
Valentina’s elimination was one that I truly didn’t see coming based on the entire season story line. I remember watching it for the first time like “Huh? What is going on??” And in relation to Shangela’s all star robbery? I can’t even watch AS3 at all because of how it ended.
I didnt even watch Rupaul at that time and i knew about it,it was a huge moment lol
It’s so funny because you can see even Trixies in shock when Shangela doesn’t make it and if I’m remembering right so was Kennedy
To me, Dovima’s was so emotional because you saw her giving in to her heart and letting down the bitch facade, and basically making up with Sagittaria, and especially Carmen’s reaction in the background had me sobbing! I don’t speak Spanish, and so for the emotion to break past the language barrier was surprising to me
IT WAS SO PAINFUL!!!! I was sobbing along with everyone!!
Do you mean Raja and the tulle?
@@jbear3478 and the favoritism she received cause she knew a lot of the judges well before drag race
Totally agree. She won the mini challenge and as a prize they gave her extra fake money to use on her costume, implying that would be an advantage. Then on the runway they read her (very beautiful) outfit for having "too much" on it. If that's not a set up, I don't know what is
I dont often cry watching drag ace but trinity realising shes going home and saying "i was so close" felt so hopeless and sad
When it aired, I was devastated that Max was eliminated. It was the first time while watching the show that I had seen such a ludicrous “delusional” edit and that she, who had up until this point been doing a wonderful job, was shafted for story.
I think Monique’s initial elimination in Season 10 really really hurt
1:34 When you said "maybe if they were high this week" i thought you meant they smoked, not that they had a high placement 😂😂😂😂😂
Pangina's elimination was the reason why I stopped watching UK vs The World... especially when you had Baga Chips there and Jujubee doing mediocre at best
This!
I knew we’d get Baga favoritism again and imo it really put a damper on the season as a whole. Not Bagas fault, but productions.
This this this!
Even Blu (who eliminated Pangina) was visibly shaking so bad from Pangina's crying. She was like, "WTF did I just do?"
even though she was first eliminated, jaymes mansfield on season 9 made me cry 😢
Alexis Mateo being eliminated in AS5 still makes me want to throw hands
I still can't get over Yara's elimination. It's gut wrenching. It's so weird how they portray her in all stars 6, I never finished the season. I can't stand seeing one of my favorite queens being portrayed as a villain for character traits that on another season she was praised for.
my saddest one is tkb on as6 also bc I was just mad
without the "everyone is in the bottom" twist (ik it happens always but it's still a twist imo), her track record would've been perfectly fine. the girls kept saying how she's been in the bottom so much when in reality without the twist she would not have been in the bottom except for 2 times (snatch game & talent show)
but what really messed it up for me was them having her already in the top 4 and then...
Yara’s elimination completely tore me apart. I was thinking about it for WEEKS and I’m still not quite over it :’(
When Ongina won that Viva Glam challenge, I was 100% sure she was the winner of S1.

Some Honorable mentions for sure
Ivy Winters S5- sure, she deserved to go home, but it was clear that from the storyline that season has, Ivy was the only one in Jinkx's corner, and her elimination definitely had that weight.
Katya S7- I can't tell if it's because she's a fan favorite or not, but her elimination felt incorrect. Yes Kennedy is the winner, but I think most agree it should've been a double shantay, She had the storyline of the season
Tatiana and Alyssa Edwards AS2- both times they were eliminated it was incorrect, however I think most of it comes from how the season went instead of being the heart of the season.
I can’t wait to see Nina Bonina Browns Elimination highlighted in this video
Well...
Nina being slept on as usual ig… 🤷♂️
Definitely Pandora getting eliminated after the first challenge in All Stars 1. She knew she was doomed from the moment she got paired with Mimi Imfurst. The other would be those lip syncs in the first episode of DR season 13, where queens were under the impression they were going home with out having done anything. That was sick cruelty.
Katya on season 7 also falls into the lovable queen who just falls short of the finale trope
I really need to understand what it is that people see in Denali. There was and is NOTHING for me. So boring, so forgettable. Help 😀

Lemons uk elimination and vanjies first elimination really hurt my heart more than any others... they cut deep. Just to see their heartbroken disappointment was too much for me
What about Nina bonina brown elimination ? that was one of the most heartbreaking eliminations ever where she did the lip-sync being a sad defeated bunny and how she pretty much gave the win to Shea to proceed on the competition .. watching that lip-sync to this day breaks my heart, and Ru calling her Andre charles ( Ru's real name ) being part of his family and to being left out and not being supported by Rupaul and the drag community cuts deep :( .. i'm kinda disappointed in you TDD for not including her
There is a video of ru at dragcon where he sees Nina but he can barley remember her name

Dovima Nurmi in Drag Race Spain Season 1 is the saddest, the fact that everyone was crying on set was heart-breaking
a really sad one for me was a’keria on as6 i am such a big fan of her and to see her yk not do too hot the whole season and a few episodes prior tell her best friend to send her home to make sure she’s not the target for weeks to come it was just a lot and then when she was eliminated she left with such grace and poise i literally love that queen so much. i also really admired how she felt that she came and did what she wanted to do so she didn’t waste anybodys time or take someone’s spot and backed out of the lipsyncs
I’m sorry but James Mansfield? The cries.. man that was heart wrenching
It would be so interesting to see a villain to hero story or hero to villain video
Hell nah.
@@SavioByrczak it's okay to be wrong 😁
Yes, exactly! She's that authentic brand of weird that makes me so happy. I watched that second lip sync (against Ariel) several time because it cracked me up so. Such a childlike lack of restraint 💗
Yara still makes me cry to this day I adore this queen despite what newer fans may think of her I will always love Yara sofia
The first early seasons queen who comes to mind is Yara 100%
If the channel made content about non-english speaking franchises and waited a few days, Juriji would definitely be in this video.
Also, Drag Race España was able to develop the contestants SO well in the editing of the episodes that almost every elimination was very sad. Also, how the judges, especially Supremme genuinely cared about those girls, made everything so emotional...
Pupi poison from drag race España had me feeling sad and honestly almost every elimination from drag race España series 2
i remember crying on all of these eliminations, and i'm sobbing right now :'( one i would add is dela's in as3: even tho she chose it and we're super satified with herself, it was such a *we were all rooting for you* moment, she dominated like no one before and since her. also, it's sad because with the announcement of as7, we could have had her and jinkx together, which would have been really cool
I'm so happy you included Rockem Sakura. I'm still not over that.
Shangela’s elimination upset me so much I nearly stopped watching rpdr.
Shocked is an understatement!!
I stopped watching Allstate seasons bc of it
I know a lot of you dont warch espana, but Dovima's last lipsync, her elimination and her explaining why she did not put up a fight was THE best tearjerker telenovela moment in drag race history, fight me
The one elimination that got me the most was Jaymes Mansfield's just everything she said and how they showed it omg tore me up
Shuga, Scarlet, and Widow- I TOTALLY agree
Pangina's elimination stung the most for me out of any recent ones. She is so professional, she was so prepared (beyond prepared really) for the competition and only made it half way. Obviously she's going to be fine, but in that moment, I bet she thought her career was over. I'm so proud of everything she has and will accomplish.
I found Silkys on AS6 is quite sad because I understand she's there trying to redeem herself but leave feeling like she never got the time to do so and she'll never get the opportunity again. Thankfully an hour later she finds out she's one more chance 😂
And girl.. she had the turn around of the millennium with the second chance 😆
@@apheliaa she fought for it like she said she was guna 😁
I think widows was particularly sad, Jeff goldblum crying sent me over the edge.
Silky ganache in all stars 3 was heartbreaking!!! Just hearing how the toxic online hate broke her down into a shell of herself making her get in her head about the competition was so tragic.
I dont think drag race thailand is cancelled im pretty sure pangina confirmed s3 is still coming at a uk vs theworld rosco's viewing party
i haaaaated widow von du's elimination. it just felt like the show gave up on her in a way that crushed me
Charity Kase for me! So ridiculously underappreciated, i'd re sub to shudder if she got on Dragula, i feel like she could really be appreciated there.
You left out Nina Bo Nina elimination
Drag Race Espana has some pretty heartbreaking eliminations. I mean... The judges cry almost every episode 🙈
Also for the international seasons: Drag Sethlas and Onyx on Espana S2 and Elektra Shock on Down Under S1 both hurt me, just because I really grew attached to them and wanted them to stay
Elektra Shock elimination made me furious like no other! It was so rigged and so unfair.
The latest españa elimination was the saddest in my eyes though :(
Spoiler:
It's so sad seeing Juriji go home without a win when she did soooo well in the second half of the season.
Rock'em bawling as she exits was the hardest for me to watch ;_;
It's funny how absolutely noone can "Jane, we don't know who you are, show us you!" Put into an elaborate critique, because Jane IS herself indeed
I’m so glad that she’s in a better place now and is thriving, but her S6 elimination (looking back on it now) is sad just because of what all occurred leading up to to
The way that I haven't watched a single episode of drag race and I'm still here binging 😭
Keep it up! You make these really interesting
No shade to Kylie but all stars 6 was trinity's season to win😩. Trinity gave so many iconic performances back to back, she deserves that crown
