What I don't understand is how a small collision caused head trauma and broken ribs. His injuries resemble those of some one that ran into a tree or crashed off of a jump.
I believe Gwyneth Paltrow. A woman skiing with her children on a bunny run is not going to act like arrogant Doctor Speed Demon.
She was watching her son, the prophet Moses.. and didn’t see where she was going.
There is video of her on a motorcycle with her child riding on back, pulling out in front of a school bus. That is very reckless!

The ski instructor didn't see the accident but filled out the report based on what GP reported??? Why? Sounds like a cover-up to me. She knew she was in trouble. The text to the instructor seems fishy too. Not to mention the pro comments about GP sounding believable need to understand a celebrity is capable of fierce self protection when it comes to their money. Don't let GP fool you.
It is a cover up for yet another act of bad behavior, leaving the accident scene not having done one responsible thing.
But to be fair, she was there with her kids who witnessed this as well. Why are they not on the stand to back up GP claim

And she seems well prepared judging from the clip. The way she didn’t call him a liar, but said he’s not telling the truth is a good move once they start bringing character witness to testify how he’s well respected and known to be an honest person. I would think this is how you would want your client to respond

It's called Personal Injury. If someone is careless, negligent or intentional and causes injury or losses - even emotional injry.
If you go to any ski area/resort there is a list of laws that pertain to what a skier is liable for which includes if you are the uphill skier and you intentionally run into someone or are negligent that causes injury, you are at fault.
Negligence, is a cause of action.

Even if you look at median salary they make which is at least 3 times what optometrists make over 300k a year) they can easily be millionaires by their retirement and wouldn’t have to resort to such lawsuits. I don’t trust this guy at all. Paltrow wouldn’t want to go through such circus and put her kids through that by testifying if it was her fault. Hope the jury sees through this greedy guy.

Paltrow’s image is really taking a hit. That said, I don’t think she deserves to be sued and I think this guy’s taking advantage of her…As a nurse, I don’t believe for a minute that this guy’s broken ribs and concussion warrant 300,000 dollars, much less 3 million. In addition, he doesn’t have a TBI from a concussion-he’s just old and likely has a few memory issues like we all get at 70+ years old. As for Paltrow, we’re all seeing a really arrogant side that’s a huge turn off. She doesn’t appear to be a very good person. The jury may end up deciding against her just because they don’t like the way she disrespects the court.

Wow, I've always liked Gwyneth as an actress but she sure is smug!! I am of the belief the accident was HER fault. Famous or not, she's not above the law. On and off the slope, she's used to getting her way and as she herself said, she's accustomed to having people do things for her. I'm a skier and I've been knocked down by strangers, not once did my mind go to "sexual assault" while on the slopes. I'm sure the instructor did fill out a report for her, after all, he is being paid.

It exhausts me to see privileged people like her avoid responsibility and always getting a pass because of fame and money. They should impose whatever the harshest punishment is for this, especially since there are multiple witnesses that saw what happened! Why is this ANOTHER thing she will just walk away from?! Also, it's not exactly a fair playing field when a professional actress goes on the stand, compared to regular people who might be scared and nervous with all eyes on them and they're not accustomed to being in court, etc.
