Wow! This is one of your most interesting videos! My favorite is still when you went to pick up the Audi TT BUT any of these where you share your thought processes as you work on your projects are just the greatest as well 😊👍
I love your channel Sarah. Your channel gives me peace in knowing that other's have the same frustrations and obstacles as myself. Subaru technician here 12 years in. Great channel. You have a life long viewer.
Hey guys I didn't clean under the tailights afew weeks ago, its been driving me crazy and I can't sleep at nights... its on my to do list, maybe in the next upload...thx for pointing it out...lol...I Blame the Az. Heat for not doing it the first time.
There is also "wrinkle paint" that sprays on, dries to a wrinkle finish. Usually intended for fake vinyl roofs, but I used it once after rebuilding a broken Fiat dashboard. Matched original finish very nicely.
The plastidip on the dashboard was perfect for me. Do not wet if it is rubber. Do not paint with heat or wind. 20º Celsius or less. Do not press on the piece, but shoot into the air and drag the jet. Never stop the jet, go straight ahead and come back. Do not impose drying time, watch over the drying and apply the new coat as soon as the last shine disappears. Important, after each layer remove the nozzle, immerse it in solvent and blow it out with an air compressor to wash it inside. The female from the pot is washed with solvent and a toothbrush. This is how it comes out perfect.
No justification needed - Dip is amazing stuff. I've dipped my car twice now and plan to dip it again soon, along with my Jeep. I like dipping trim pieces to protect and revitalize the appearance. yea, it's just awesome stuff to use. Edit: Wow, the light "fuzz" topcoat idea turned out perfect!
99 and 01 Cobras had the tail lights with the amber turn signals. So did the 2000 Cobra R. The 2003/2004 Terminators had tail lights like all the 99 - 04 GTs and V6s.
@Sarah Hey, I'm currently piecing a 2007 focus for softroading. From looking at the parts lists, there are 15" springs (for the wagon rear suspension) that should fit into place safer than the spring bucket that you used. Thought you might like a bit safer ride, should one of the fall out.
When are you going to drive the MR2? Did I miss that episode? I had a 86 non-turbo it was like driving a skateboard. After all that work I want to see you enjoy the fruit of your labor!
Here in the UK the battery cut off is normally within the reach of the driver and co-drive and a T handle outside of the car connected by a cable to the key for someone outside to use if needed, just the same way the fire extinguisher system is plumb into the car. With the fire extinguisher cable you should fit a slotted steel tube in between the handle and the lever
The cage and fab work are looking top notch. Proper safety equipment is a must . So glad you paired up with an awesome supplier. Did you ever source a purpose set of tires ? Or are you still rolling the snow tires ?
That was a dang fine idea with the dash! I have a Vehicross I am fixing up. I have a few spots might attack with the dip but capitalizing on its Baja heritage i might do that with the dash too!
Use tint able Raptor Liner on the inside of the car if you don't put the carpeting back in. It will also work well as a sound deadener. You can even put it on the roll cage and tint it the same color as the car.
Nice job on the Dash. It should definitely add some durability to it. Been trying to brainstorm ideas for the Dash and center console on my 77 Trans Am. That Black threw a serious glare on Sunny days.
While you have the dash out and in pieces, will you be adding a tablet thing in place of the stereo? Like for music and navigation? If you put it under a plastic shield, should be easy to clean. Maybe?
Go home Sarah, you're drunk. 😛For real tho I love that you have no problem being you, even with a half numb face. You're a great role model for any young ladies that watch your content! Super entertaining stuff, and that Focus is coming together nicely. Can't wait to see the finished product, keep it up!
The new seat brackets where they mount into the original mounting points need that angle iron rounded and smoothed so that they do not cut you. I know it is out of the way in normal use, but safety in design because accidents are not normal use. A little work for a lot of safety. PS skip the avocados and chicken. We like your can just the way it is!!! Love the innuendo fire!!!
That looks like a little fun focus. I like the euro tail lights, rims, and tires. Is it a stick shift?, and is it possible to make it an all wheel drive model.
You have mentioned several times that it is very hot in the workshop. How many times do you use your collapsible tent ? Because if you could avoid sunshine on your gates it would lower the temperature. So even if you are not working under the tent then they could give you some shade on the gates. Just a thought :-)
I know your really into motors but when you said you wanted to flock your Fiesta dash!?... well lets just say I'm glad you elucidated, cos I was a little confuzzled for a moment...lol
Whait a moment. Did you edit out the part where you cleaned behind the tail lights before you put the new ones on? Or does your OCD not work on hot days?
Hey Sarah great video... but quick thing I think the cage is missing some extra bars, did you build it as per ARA o NASA regulations?? So it can get log book it?
Props to supporting small businesses.
I can't believe you didn't clean under the tail light :)
OCD didn't kick in 😝
OCD triggered in 3...2....1...lol
Thanks racetech...for hooking our girl up with safety in mind...

I love your appreciation for small businesses. Especially with what were going through with coronavirus right now.
I love your channel Sarah. Your channel gives me peace in knowing that other's have the same frustrations and obstacles as myself. Subaru technician here 12 years in. Great channel. You have a life long viewer.
Watching you long enough, I’m surprised you didn’t clean the crap out of where the tail light mounts 😂

I thought the same
When the wiring gets replaced.
Funny, in the UK we swap the taillights for the clear ones as we don't like the amber lenses :)
I've heard this many times about the Mustangs
Grass is always greener on the Other Side
I think the amber suits this car better, but on a red car for example I'd probably prefer the clear.
@@frankcolumbo9615 same thought.
Personally I hate amber on cars but then I'm a euro so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sarah! Im shocked! i thought for sure you were gonna clean behind the focus taillamps, my OCd is killing me now :) Great vid!
Yeah right...upsetting. Just because its a race car is no excuse here.
Kudos to Charlie on the seat brackets and cage.
------- and his dirt bike farm....
In Oz we have 'Dash-mats' which are usually a dark colour to stop reflection. Painting the dash is Plan B. Great show Sarah.
Smart move mounting the seat to the existing bracket locations and moving the kill switch to where it can be reached. 🍪
You know your way around electronics.... I’m impressed!
There is also "wrinkle paint" that sprays on, dries to a wrinkle finish. Usually intended for fake vinyl roofs, but I used it once after rebuilding a broken Fiat dashboard. Matched original finish very nicely.
That dip job turned out pretty fantastic! Nicely done!
The bird was telling all the other animals "the lady that works on her car and talks to herself is back" 🤣
lol,there goes the birdhood!
You make everything look so easy.

Yea! It’s Sarah time again!!! ❤️🍀
I did the same thing with my Rally Baja! Only with 6 layers before a double layer of thin. Lasted well for 7 years.
All the best things come from the uk Sarah 😉👍🏻
“There’s people grilling next door”
Goes out and sprays noxious fumes 😂😂😂
^^underrated comment :D

Great vid Sarah, very informative, great job with the focus coming along nicely,Thank You
OH! I can’t wait to see that TLX A-spec review!
I really do enjoy your videos and your humor. Keep them coming
Looks like a fun project!!! Can’t wait to see it progress!!! And I love your car reviews.
I've been wanting a first gen Focus or last ten Escort lately... and now even more! So teeny!

The dash turned out fantastic - great idea!
Recently discovered this channel got to say love the videos. Very entertaining and informative! Keep doing your thing!

Dat King Ranch logo is hard to miss. Can’t wait for that review. 😍😍
You put in work! Always inspired to do more. Like clean all the dishes daily!
I know it's a long way off but, looking forward to seeing the Focus project completed, enjoying the journey.

Was thinking of using dip to darken the interior of my SVT, thank you for being a guinea pig 😁 Looks great! 😎
Another great video, thanks for sharing. Charlie has mad skills, nice job. Keep the great videos coming.

Love the plasti-dash idea! I have like 5 cans of matte black I got free and have no idea what to do with them. Awesome progress on Codsworth!
Flocking dip-job, well alright. Just love tech talk. Thanks Sarah for the laugh. As always you make my day better.
The cage and fab work are looking top notch. Proper safety equipment is a must . So glad you paired up with an awesome supplier. Did you ever source a purpose set of tires ? Or are you still rolling the snow tires ?
I had a 2002 svt ford focus it was grey with black and blue seats/ doors and black rest.
"it's a dirtbike farm" I definitely like Charlie's style!
You can use the power wire from the front turn signal to the rear signals, then you get the power for the brake lights off the 3rd brake light.
Very nice job on the incorrectly sprayed dash Sarah! 👍.
Nice dip job Sarah! Way to go Charlie nice cage.
That was a dang fine idea with the dash! I have a Vehicross I am fixing up. I have a few spots might attack with the dip but capitalizing on its Baja heritage i might do that with the dash too!
Loving the channel! Great content! Nice project with the focus - look forward to future vids. Nice one Sarah, thumbs up 👍🏼
Great job,I
Love your channel ❤️
Bed liner works great for a flock alternative.
The dippo jobby was simple brilliant and educational.
UK spec = more differential common sense n’ logic!
👍🇬🇧

Love how Sarah says "body". Cute
I can’t figure out how you work on cars all day yet your nails always look perfect.
I pay attention to what I’m doing and wear gloves.
Nice job on the Dash. It should definitely add some durability to it. Been trying to brainstorm ideas for the Dash and center console on my 77 Trans Am. That Black threw a serious glare on Sunny days.
"My little pony " :):)
So looking forward to the King Ranch review.
Love, love, love your videos.
Black Original Dashmat is what I use on all cars... it's easier and works great... zero glare and keep dash cooler..
Keep up the great work. Hope your day is going well
I know of a rousch edition for sale. The engine has ALOT OF UPGRADES!!!
Love your vids Sarah ❤️

Great that you FOCUSED on the other car :D
Super nice and clean. No surprise😀
The only thing about the PD on dash, it will be a dust magnet and cleaning it will be a pain.
Check out Krylon Fusion All-In-One Matte Black. I am in love with that stuff. It's fantastic on plastic.
That dash came out great 👍🏻
Cool stuff Sarah.

Now I'm just waiting on some sort of miata build on this channel :D
Hi Sarah. I think your really pretty and funny. And also smart and talented. I like watching your videos.
Some paints offer a clear-coat dull-coat that reduces shine!
plasti peels !!!!! big bummer when ya DONT want it to :(
Sarah what was the circuit test tool u used on UK/USA harness seg ????
Have great week Sarah.
In the past I've matted dashboards by sanding them down with a coarse git paper. Works well, but a lot of effort.
You sure about that tail/stop/flash wiring?
It looks like the flash and stop both run off a power feed from the GEM on the Blue/Blue-Red wires.
Now that you have fitted UK spec rear light clusters, you have indicators instead of turn signals... ;-)
.....or repeaters....
Sarah, please stay safe from coronavirus . love your channel very much.
Already had it
Sarah -n- Tuned
How bad was it for you?
Each person will react differently.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you're doing ok.
Torsee I’ve experienced much worse.
@@SarahnTuned glad to hear your better. I love your channel

nice that you work on the ford now….same sarah but new canvas...im sure it will be nice
How did you aquire all those license plates were they sent in by subs ? Any way that's pretty cool
Hey Sarah great video... but quick thing I think the cage is missing some extra bars, did you build it as per ARA o NASA regulations?? So it can get log book it?
CAN'T...STOP...BINGE...WATCHING.
Strange, we have those tail lights with the orange indicator in Australia and I prefer the US Spec ones.
What if you sprayed a thin coat of bed liner? It lasts a very long time and is super durable. Flat finish. Just my two cents. Great video.
Plastidip is brilliant!!
I wonder what some mat bedliner would look like if you had to redo it.
Can't believe you didn't claybar and wax the paint under the tail lights!
Your MR2 looks nice in your garage.
I thought you guys broke up. Love your videos either way. Keep up the good work. I also got a focus in the UK
I got my self a dash mat for my rally project... it does the same thing but a lot easier and can be removed and washed.... and they are very cheap.
I got purple snap on screw driver set I could not get the matching rackets which sucks
Ok this video has given me a needed understanding and respect for the focus project 👍🏻
Before I was eh 😏
