A few tips to improve stability: 1) The rear of the ankle piece (I think it's die cast?) has a large tab that must be inserted into its corresponding port. This may require some force because it's a rather tight fit. Once inserted, you will notice immediate improvements in stability 2) Stability can be further improved by moving the rear talons down one notch, so that his feet form an arc, with only the front and rear talon tips touching the table. This will shift the angle and allow his weight to settle right in between, to positive effect. Of course, you will likely have to adjust the knees and hips to accommodate the new angle. 3) Finally, experiment with rotating his toes outward slightly so the feet are no longer parallel. I've found this to be quite helpful in stabilizing the figure as well. Best of luck!
A few other pointers, not related to stablity: 1) bicep swivel is not essential for great posing! You can use a combination of elbow swivel and lateral (as well as forward and backward) shoulder movement to achieve a significant range of motion. The biggest articulation limitation IMO is the lack of elbow bend to under 90 degrees. 2) speaking of elbow swivel, I recommend rotating those elbows 90 degrees outward, so the weapons ports are on the outside of his arm, instead of in front. And then, of course, rotate the hands back to normal position afterwards. 3) Those batteries look pretty dull. For instructions on battery replacement (and a few other mods such as fixing that floppy wing), check out this vid: Fix this & that | T-10 Starscream MPM - BMB
Dude this review couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m thinking of getting this guy for myself, but was wondering how he scales with the rest of the regular scale mpm figures, especially Blackout. That being said, I do have a question for you since it’s a bit tough to see on camera. When Starscream is full chicken-legged, is he shorter than Blackout’s rotor piece above the head? I’ve been going crazy trying to figure this out lol. Awesome review thought bro, first time seeing your channel! Def subbed
I own him too but i really dont like that he is oversized, i bought him 2 years ago because i couldnt afford the original, thank god he has chicken legs so i can adjust his size. I wish people made non oversized KOs of MpMs maybe ill get the original one day.
@@InnateReviews I think the thighs look great. One of the basic principles of design is: big/medium/ small. This figure incorporates that as well as or better than any I've seen. The idea is to incorporate all three size categories into your design for aesthetic appeal. Too much thigh detail could make it look too busy and cluttered. Take the T-8, for example. It does not follow this principle, and is visually vexing IMO. I love his head and face, but the body resembles a pile of fingernail clippings that somebody glued into a humanoid form, all roughly the same size. He could take a lesson from Starscream's playbook (or the designers, rather)!

I agree with you, I had to think about getting this one for awhile because I really wanted one in scale but I couldn't afford the official 😔

I really like the design personally, but I think objectively it's not the best 😔
Starscream plain thighs are accurate though.
Damn you're right I've never noticed that. It does look a tad out of place on the toy tho 😔
