    Thank you Jason for making this video. It's really helpful, especially as I'm very OCD about things like this and forgetful.

    Great video, Jason! So much clearer than most of the online “help!” I’ve been using Linux for decades and this is the best explanation I’ve seen for how to do this. Tip: if you have a few applications you use often and don’t want to have to scroll the big menu, you can also have the items in a personal favorites menu, such as “KM4ACK,” by adding the name to the categories variable for each application you want on that short list. 73

    I too, am a fan of your videos. You have saved me soooo much time. I have tqsl.desktop in my /home/pi/Desktop folder but not in my Hamradio category. Is there a simple way to add it?

    • @KM4ACK
      @KM4ACK  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      move the .desktop file to /usr/share/applications directory.

    i've gotten a bit behind, on my Pi setup. I'm stuck at JS8Call. I found one problem, and it now keys the radio. But I've got nothing going out. I am receiving signals. Just not getting any power out. It is an issue with the sound card port I'm assuming. Great video again.

      Check you audio levels on the pi itself and your sound card if separate. What kind of sound card? 73, de KM4ACK
