Die Allgäuer um Sänger und Bandgründer Roberto D. Liapakis sind mit ihren Songs und Alben seit der Jahrtausendwende erfolgreich. Ihr Stil: klassischer Power Metal mit Heavy- und Thrash-Elementen.
2000 gründet Sänger Roberto D. Liapakis gemeinsam mit Martin Albrecht (Bass bis 2008) Mystic Prophecy, kurz danach kamen Schlagzeuger Dennis Ekdahl und Gitarrist Gus G. dazu. Nach zahlreichen Besetzungswechseln ist Liapakis heute das einzige verbliebene Gründungsmitglied.
Mystic Prophecy gehören zu den etablierten Acts des deutschen Metal-Zirkus und stehen für kraftvolle, prägnante und eingängige Hooks, gepaart mit technisch brillanten Riffs und verfeinert durch eine moderne Produktion.
Ihr Debütalbum hieß "Vengeance" (2001). 2018 brachte die Band eine LP mit Coverversionen heraus. Mystic Prophecy waren im Laufe ihrer Karriere immer wieder auch in den Charts vertreten, ihr erfolgreichstes Album bisher ist "Metal Division" (2020), das Platz 20 der deutschen Charts erreichte.

Saw the all thing badass performance from this great Metal band. The Bass Lady wasn't there & that was a great disappointment to me because I still think MP is a Top Metal band out there! Great show thought!🤘
