  • When you fly a lot, you crash a lot. Fear not, they sell parts and there's a user manual for that. Pick it up, suck it up, fix it up, send it up. #sendittillyouendit

    I like the 'Throttle Hold' voice 0.5s after is a crumpled mass of carbon fibre! Gets me every time!

    40 years ago, I was wondering how the heck a person can hover helis upside down.. times have changed....

    Some of those crashes were better than my landings

    Something awesome about a nitro crashing. As a spectator, of course!!

    Man that’s a lot of $$ and late nights with locktite all over your fingers. What I hate even more than the costs is spending countless hours making everything perfect just to do it again because a pesky fly on the nose distracted me.

    the smoke makes it very real but rip to all the helis

    Man that was awesome! Your a great pilot, I've watched a lot of your other videos. In the very last crash...any idea what happened? It sounded like an audible double beep? I'm just learning 3d. Thanks!

    Dang! All I see is the dollar signs.. yikes! I guess that’s how we find our limits in skill. I’ll keep on the simulator more then try at a higher altitude. Keep safe my friends!!

    This is why I went back to planes and cars lol. Align and SAB are so expensive to fix.
    One hard landing and I lost the gear, boom, blades, feathering shaft and the tail wagged forever!

    Any advice for a beginner how to avoid the boom strikes? Often looks like this happens in situations where you're not even doing something that crazy. Looking at videos of other pilots that go even faster, I don't get why they don't seem to experience boom strikes that often.

    • @jaybomb5022
      @jaybomb5022 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Loads of practice and crashes my friend.

    • @yzScott
      @yzScott 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Boom strike is usually about too low RPM resulting in too much blade flex. Sometimes cheap blades contribute.

    Do you video all your flights to have this many crashes recorded? I need to start doing this 😂 might help me improve

    hmmm, lets see, new main rotor, tail rotor, main shaft, feathering shaft, drive gear, pinion gear etc etc etc
    been there don't that, I miss my big heli, don't miss buying parts for them.
    i switched to quads, they're indestructible.

    I started flying Helicopters in November last year. I`ve been flying planes since 2022 and can count the crashes on one hand, yet i`ve crashed my Helis almost on a weekly basis since i started! So much harder. I wouldnt mind if i was doing something other than hovering! lol

    • @BladeScraper
      @BladeScraper  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The learning curve for helis is definitely a bit steeper for sure. Well worth it in the end though :)
      I wish I could count the number of helicopter crashes I've had on one hand.... I'd have saved a lot of money 😂

    • @MrDOZA28
      @MrDOZA28 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @BladeScraper well until I stop crashing, I'm not even thinking about a bigger heli than my m2 lol. The Sim does help, but I find flying for real is better just like the planes

    Was the 2nd crash a snapped spindle or blade failure?

      The NX4? The main shaft snapped lol

    This will be all my heli's
    I fly Dlg's and other gliders mainly, and not to good at that either. But starting heli's now, damn this is hard, respect to all the 3D pilots out there.

    Personally not my style of flying hence 2 sec from destruction!
    Scale controlled manoeuvres imo required more skill
