I also wanted to add how much I enjoyed two of your patches again in the last few weeks. You really captured the epic grandeur of vintage Vangelis scoring during the Bladerunner and Antarctica era.
It seems like the longer you spend with a synth you just keep getting new stuff out of it! The Deepmind has its own sound and it's crazy how cheap you can get them for now. 500-600 bucks here in the USA oftentimes. Analog for the masses.
Haha...You're right, sometimes I have to replace the first few Sounds I make as by the end, they're better. It is the last Bank though for the DM12, i've squeezed as much as I can out of it.
I would love to watch you make these patches. My mind boggles as to how you are able to get so much out of it.I am still at the 'disturbing distopian' garbled stage but i am willing to learn!
It's just time really and lots of patience. Sit there and say, ok, i'm going to make a Pad Sound and see where you end up...it doesn't have to sound great, it may not sound good at all, but you'll get used to how that control affects that and so on...just enjoy the process of finding out :)
Hey, Mr. Geosynths! Your patches are awesome. I recommend them all the time on TH-cam because you really show the capabilities of the DeepMind. May make a suggestion? It would be helpful if the patches were organized into types like FX, Brass, Strings, Bass, etc. That way it is easier for us to compare sounds within your libraries rather than skipping all over and making extensive notes. I think Behringer should hire YOU to make the OBXa patches for the upcoming release, but they have to pay you at least what you made from your DeepMind collection.
Just bought this third sound bank. Very good one. The only point is about some important gaps in volume level between some two adjacent sounds. We must take care in case of using headphones. Some sounds play a low level, so we must increase the volume level and then, the next sound volume is so high that it could suddenly hurt. I think it could be a good idea to balance the overall volume level in order to slightly reduce these gaps. That could make the audition more pleasant.
Hi Fred, thanks, I did check them in Logic with a Level Meter, some are lower becuase they have Resonance or other FX that are controlled by the mod Wheel, which then adds more gain causing internal Clipping.
@@GEOSynths Who knew mating a Juno clone with a rack of effects would amount to a versatile synth that ages beautifully. I still say the Deepmind is the best synth you can buy for the money. Even at its original price I way saying that.

I been torn between a lot of different synths. Attempting to find that one that gives the overall satisfaction and bang for the buck. One to give the low end smoothness and fullness in it. Also not being limited with being only to play a few notes at a time. Sure Sub 37 or Prophet 6's have their signature sounds and filters, but can this Behringer Deepmind 12 come close to supporting an inkling of the two if a patch is done right? I hear lovely poly escapes in this synth, and a low end bass lead that seems to do the job well. I'm starting to find a resting place in my decision for the Behringer deepmind 12.
Really great set of patches. As with your latest REV2 set, you've outdone yourself here with the DM12. I bought it and I couldn't believe some of the sounds that were coming from my DeepMind 12 (thanks in part to the great on-board effects). One question: were these patches created with the synth's VCA in Transparent, or Ballsy mode ? Thanks again, Jamie ! P.S. the fact that you've duplicated the banks so that we could select our own destination bank is greatly appreciated.
Hi, thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. I just have it set at Transparant as that was a fix for internal distortion, however I have drastically processed the sound internally with the Enhancer, Compression to get a lot more internal gain out of it. I then went through all 128 Patches with a level meter in Logic, so they are mostly similar in volume, some may sound quiter, but things like Resonance come in with the Mod Wheel or Aftertouch and can distort, so I back it off. Yeah, I thought duplicating the Banks would be better for people. Thanks for the support :)

Nice design, is not easy some times to program, you need to know very well the engine of the synth first. I wish I have one, but I start building already my own Poly, a Se-02. I have 2 units and my plan is to put together 3 😊
Like you, I'm in the UK. Can I buy this in GBP? The last library I bought from you was in dollars, which Paypal then converts and I end up with a dollars invoice, which annoys accounts! Cheers.
I only do it USD as when I used to do it GBP and then non UK customers saw a higher number when it got converted, they dropped it...I saw a 40% drop in Sales becuase of that, so naturally changed it back :) Besides PayPal only allows me to use 1 main currency...I wish I could use GBP as PayPal charges me to convert it from USD to GBP and gets a fee for each transaction.
