Wood Knot Carpenter No. 24 - Mortiser Stand

Thinking of purchasing machine, but thought I'd better get a home ready for it ahead of time. Here I design and build a bench-top type stand on casters. Along the way I learn how to use my new Porter Cable Dovetail jig. I made many errors, but eventually achieved good results, and learned much along the way. Enjoy!

Hey Lester. Yeah, I see that knot in the drawer face. Maybe the screws were trying to go through. Hmm.

It is sturdy and stable as a rock. Currently have my bench top drill press sitting on top. The drawers work great; very satisfied. Good luck with your design and thank you for commenting. All the best to you and yours.
