Good question. I am about to do this job and getting the glass back in the lift bracket is not obvious !

I thought you were going to remove and repair the original module. There must be a reason these fail, I’ve got two to replace but they’re not cheap to buy.

Thanks man for the video. I managed to replace the lock. I would recommend people to remove all plastic clips (00:15) that were left on the metal plate and put them back on the panel side before mounting it back. And for the two pieces of plastics (03:57) and (07:59) that were on the glass, put them both on the glass when remounting, it will insert in the plastic with some force applied.

Thank you for the advice to put back the 2 pins directly on the glass and to insert with some force, but not much : it goes very well whereas I was a little afraid to do like this.
I put some grease on the internal pin to help and the grease remaining may be helps for insertion

It doesn't matter, but no, I haven't, just push harder at the same time pressing remote key or central locking.

Is anyone able to see clearly what is hummered in the hole to get the glass out? I battle and scared to just hummer the plastics in the hole.

Use a punch on the inner plastic ring , and when out the bigger plastic ring will come out.

I used a small wood screw for the small split tube screwed in just enough, then pull/extract the screw with pliers. May need to jiggle the screw slightly to ease it out. Then I used a larger coach screw for the outer plastic tube. Don't insert the screws to deep.

How bloody irritating. The whole job is done in complete silence. And camera is all over the place. It's never kept still for a second. It would help if there was some voice instructions. While carrying out this repair. More so for anyone that's attempting to do this to try and save money.
