I am not a skater and had never even seen footage like this but had anyone asked me if this was possible, I would have said NO FU***** CHANCE!!! This guy is truly amazing and I hope he stays injury free and alive for many many years.

This is absolutely incredible. The ways he dances on the board, stretching like it’s nothing touching his toes, literally dancing with the wind. Absolutely breathtaking in many ways ❤😂😮

The feeling of flying down the hill when your feeling confident is amazing.. one thing about this is if you fall off the board most the time you can control your fall and slide if you got the slide gloves and knee pads. You can slide without hurting yourself. It's so much fun man 😜
This is one of the most impressive feats I've ever seen and the way he avoided those two dogs and stayed on his board was crazy. This dude skates like it's his superpower.

Mans picked up a piece of palm off the fl , dodged a few dogs , skimmed past trucks motorcycles & cars all while flying downhill on wet & semi wet roads for miles while making it look easy af , hats off to that guy and all praise to him 💪🏾

You'd be surprised how durable these modern wheels are. Chase has a pro model wheel with Seismic that could handle at least 10 runs down this road while staying completely round.
Woah, I climb that hill every Sunday on my bicycle. I wouldn't imagine someone could go down on a board; it is insanely steep and curvy, what a talented skater

my fav vid, i downed it, i am a skater from the 70s, i was in my prime when urethane wheels were invented, i traded in(threw away) clay wheels for my first set of "road riders" the red ones i thing they were road rider 7s if my memory is good, long boards were not even thought of yet, im now old,disabled and fresh out of hospital from a car accident, but i couldnt help notice this skaters style at one point the ankle pivots and the cam can see the under side of that left foot, and i totally got it,,,you can/wll lower your center of gravity another 2 inches by doing that, WAY COOL, and given the speed, and circumstances,, that extra 2 inches can mean the world, i totally love your style and execution of braking/curves, and the occasional bunny hop is way ass cool too,,,im layin her, watching this, thinking,,,,if we had long boards in the 70s, ,,,if i was 20 yrs younger and longboards were a thing like it is now,,,,i would soooooooo be fukn doin that shit,,,for me its the only sport on earth,,even ruling over shortboards,,,,the best doods,,,the best,,,,,,,,all i can do at this point in life is watch you guys do it,,so thanks for doin it,,,and thanks to the filming guys doin their thing,,so i can watch,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I skate for fun for almost my entire life, only cruising and nothing crazy.
My feet shaking i mean really shaking by watching this dude flying the mountain especially the dog escape and the uneven roads managements and that was all in speeeeedsssss.
I wish him the best so i can see him in another videos for many many many many many years to come.

For this skateboarder, he is definitely the most skilled I have ever seen in all the downhill skateboarding videos I've watched. Most of the other videos are filmed on roads with few cars and relatively clean surfaces, but he's just skating down a not-so-good mountain road with rocks, puddles, and even dogs😀. You can tell that he is very familiar with the terrain, and his calm and relaxed reaction to unexpected events such as dogs suddenly appearing is truly impressive. To be honest, at the beginning of the video, I felt extreme danger, but for some reason, as the video progressed, I felt incredibly relieved and enjoyed it. He seems different from those who only endanger others on the road for the sake of excitement. He seems to predict all the vehicles and can feel that he is very attentive to the safety of others. It really feels like he was born for this sport.
Also, I think his motorcycle companion filming him behind is just as skilled as him. His companion has the same excellent motorcycle skills, and they always maintain a close distance, which allows us to see such stable footage. And when the dog appears, the motorcycle rider also displays the same calmness. I have to say that they are the perfect match. Although I trust their skills, I still hope they stay safe.

Antes de ver este video me puse a leer los comentarios. Y aunque describían lo impresionante que es, no me prepararon por completo para lo que vi. Este video demuestra lo que el ser humano es capaz de hacer cuando tiene seguridad en sus habilidades y CERO miedo en el cuerpo y mente. Es como ir flotando en una nube de total presencia. Impresionada de los saltos a esa velocidad, el manejo de las curvas, los giros, los deslices y frenos. Llegó un punto en que hasta se puso a hacer estiramiento del cuerpo 😂. Qué persona tan increíble! Y ni se diga de la labor espectacular del que va grabando. Sigo pensando en todos los obstáculos que iban pasando: perros, carros, motos. Alright. My Highlights. Some had my heart racing and some laughing. @1:41 point 5 secs he tucks in his arm to dodge the bus. @2:27 Dog attacks but misses because of that dope layback slide through the sand. @9:15 helps the community with a little road clearing. @9:33 a little yoga stretch to be able to contort himself into those super sick slide positions….

@@JBBost Yep, from growing up in the Caribbean, my experience is these neighborhood dogs enjoy the chase (of anything passing by), but seldom actually attack. Often they are extremely friendly.
Dude was so deep in the flow he was wrapping up them streets. to hit the optimal AND outside right curve (which is thew MOUNTIAN SIDE DROP OF SIDE) is just insane. and the physicality to do so is also amazing. 12/10
I have a 5 mile run down a Hawaiian volcano that is like kindergarten compared to this incredible footage. I've gotten up approximately to 35-37 mph on a Wal-Mart skateboard. I decided to not go downhill again until I upgrade. 64 yrs old falling hurts more.
Just insane. The road was in a rough condition with lots of unpredictable rough patches. And the way he avoided the dog with zero panic was batshit crazy.

There was 2 different dogs not just 1. The 2nd was hard to see but he didn't come as close but still came close. I cant believe the loose dog is a factor in that run lol.

LEGENDARY BEYOND BELIEF! Terrifying to watch full screen overtaking motorbikes, missing oncoming traffic, almost getting wiped by that dog...my nerves are shot. Death hovering moments away and yet skill that is mind bending. I feel drained and relieved that he made it safely and that I can breath again...WOW!!!!!

Conozco esa vía, la he transitado en bicicleta, moto y carro y siempre me ha parecido muy estrecha y muy bacheada, y hoy día es muy transitada, la verdad eso más que un deporte extremo es arriesgar la vida, yo practico MTB Downhill y aun y con los riesgos que tiene me parece mucho más seguro XD, no es lo mismo bajar con frenos en una ruta sin carros ni motos aunque sea una cañada llena de piedras que hacerlo en esa vía con curvas tan ciegas y tanto carro en sentido contrario, y más con ese montón de imprudentes en moto que se mueven en esa vía

As a 54 year old wise man, I hope, I've realized there are certain activities in life that can only happen between a certain age bracket, and this is one of them. You could only do this in your early 20s because it takes that long to aquire the skills and confidence, and that is the pinnacle of your healthy, robust, body.

@@tedparkman3111 I am no expert but I would think they learn this stuff from their peers. It's (obviously) a form of skateboarding. Skateboarders usually work out in peer groups where they develop their skills. Then they try more difficult maneuvers and routes. Would anyone here like to contribute their knowledge of how they get to this level? I look at it often here on TH-cam. I'm quite engrossed by their ability. It's outta this world!

@@wyskass861 the cameraman is either with a motorcycle or with a car, you can hear him using his horn and you hear the motor when he revs up, also notice how the camera moves in the corners just like if it was mounted on a car

there are several things going through my mind, 1-this is the MOST AMAZING skateboarding I've ever seen! 2- I wonder if his mother knows he's doing this? 3- How is he going to stop?
His method of slowing down throughout the video is powersliding, and so he'd probably just do that until he gets to a stop.
@@entityjack9054 you got it more or less. The term “powerslide” isn’t really used in downhill. Standard stop would be a shutdown slide - facing downhill, sitting back deeply into the hill until you stop, with a gloved hand on the ground behind you (Coleman) or without (squattie).
Also if you look carefully, he’s got a radio strapped around his waist, & spotters stationed at critical spots on the road like sharp blind turns. That way his people can warn him of cars & other hazards.
None of which makes this any less nuts of a run, even by downhill standards. He’s definitely one of the finest.

ikr im not saying he shouldnt be allowed to bomb but with cars its kinda messed up for a person driving and he comes slamming into you and dies you gonna feel guilty like you took a turn too tight... probably best to do it closed off and still enjoy the rush while not ruining someones day by having your guts splatter on their windshield
