    Very nice video Sandy. You and I are close in age(I'm 56), and I can definitely relate to so much of what you said regarding brain fog, anxiety, and sleep. Reading your bible and praying were two, great suggestions, and two that I try to do every day.

    My mental health is a mess since May with a severe UTI, ICU 5 days. Several more hospital stays and way to many drugs. Dr's gave me meds for mental health because at my age, 67, they said it affected my thinking. It's been a long road and I'm still struggling. Meds definitely make us feel awful and getting off of them also makes us feel awful through discontinue syndrome and withdrawls. Right now I'm almost off everything by tapering slowly. Dr doesn't even know I'm almost off. Still have a ways to go. Sleep deprivation is causing over 6 months of this continuing hell. Thank you Sandy, for sharing ❤ UTI'S and being older are serious with affecting your thinking and mental health. Before this happened to me I was healthy and strong and zero meds... not even cholesterol meds etc...

    Boy, this one really resonated with me. My wellness practitioner just told me about cutting off all screens two hours before bedtime and even for the first hour or two in the morning. I’m making that change, hard as it is to break that habit, but you are right, it makes a huge difference! I sleep better and I’m praying it helps to reduce my stress-induced hypertension. Thanks for sharing what for me, is just affirmation that we REALLY need to reduce screen time!

      Hmmm... sometimes it is what we are eating that gives brain fog. Do you think sugar, or something your body is allergic to, like dairy, is causing the issue? It may be none of this. I am just thinking about you and how frustrating that is

    I am 74 years old and was having horrible anxiety - felt like a weight on my chest all the time!!! My Dr. Recommended Lexipro (lowest dosage possible) and within a week I was experiencing terrible gastric pain/issues!! Dr. Thought it could not possibly be the meds, but changed me to a different one - also lowest dosage - same exact reaction, but so bad I thought I would need to go to the ER!! My body cannot tolerated these meds - I have not tried Ashwaganda, but honestly almost afraid to swallow any more pills at this point!!! My daily walks and quiet time do help! Thank you so much for sharing your story and making some great recommendations - especially prayer!!!

    Sandy, i have been feeling the exact same way. Im 51, my thoughts have been so scattered. I've been messing up at work. I also take magnesium before bed and I have started reading, it has helped so much. I am also going to try the herbal supplement you mentioned. Thanks for sharing!

    My brain fog was getting bad also. I changed my diet completely. We need fat for our brain to function well. Glucose glycates the proteins. I eat so much more fat (and meat) and no sugar-- and bonus-- I've lost weight too. My brain now mostly runs on ketones, instead of glucose.
    I think everything we were ever taught about diet is backwards.

    people make fun of me, but i downgraded from a smart phone to a basic flip phone (no internet).
    for several reasons... 1) get rid of the temptation to constantly check emails on my phone
    2) flip phone easier to use in emergency (physical dial pad) 3) less exposure to harmful EMFs/radiation, since
    i don't have my phone with me all day....
    now, i realize some people must have a smartphone (for their jobs, and mobile internet access).
    thankfully, mine doesn't require that... so it made it much easier to downgrade, and when at home, i use my landline phone
    (and the cell phone is turned off/put away).
    No tv at night either... i sleep very well, usually fall asleep within 15 minutes of hitting the pillow.

    Thank you so much for sharing. I'm 58I am a mom of 5 children biological. My oldest son passed away 7 years ago. Pretty sure he was murdered by his girlfriend but we couldn't prove it, but I know what God showed me and I raised his 2 daughters, but I helped him raise 3 of them, and to the eldest one went to live with her mom. And I raised his twins from 12 years on there, now about to be 20 and my husband and I in 2022, we gots are great nice and in 2023, we got her sister thing, the first one we got at 3 months, the second 1. We got it 2 days. We have since adopted them. And we're raising them, I've asked, God, you sure have a sense of humor I've been raising kids since I was 11, because I helped my mom raise my brother's cuz. She worked all the time and my dad did too. I told God I said, well, you give me these 2 babies keep me healthy. I have started taking the magnesium. That you take the one that you recommended. I just ordered my second bag. And I am one of those people that have a very hard time sleeping at night. And it's just because I feel as if I have so much going on in my life that I never get a break. But listen to you made me really realize a lot of things. So thank you so much for sharing this. Be the year. No, may God bless you, abandongly.

    you should also research magnesium bicarbonate... it's the best absorbable form of magnesium.
    You can make it at home (for pennies), but it requires a soda maker....
    i can't live without it.... it helped my foggy brain
    there's videos on YT about how to make the magnesium bicarbonate (real easy)

    • @JTWaters68
      @JTWaters68 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      magnesium glycenate actually absorbs better in the body based on my research. But you do have to buy it.

    • @MGillDesign
      @MGillDesign 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@JTWaters68 of the man made supplements (powders) yes, glycinate absorbs best.
      But the earth's most natural source of magnesium (from centuries ago) was ground water (mag bicarbonate), originating from carbonate rocks and atmospheric carbon dioxide. Unfortunately, due to industrialization, fertilizers/agricultural runoff, most of this natural source is destroyed.
      Today, making magnesium bicarbonate is the closest thing to mimicking nature. It can be made (at home) for pennies, from a chemical reaction of carbonic acid (such as seltzer water/soda maker) and magnesium hydroxide (powder).
      The result is a highly absorbable, bioavailable water, that is concentrated with magnesium that you can easily drink. as normal water. No difference.
