I am a guitarist, i watched the scorpions live and play this song very often since it was released in the 80s. must have listened to it thousands of times. This video made me so happy because you played all the little fill-ins with your right hand that i would do on the guitar as well. Everytime i thought no way she's gonna play that, that's just a very small detail, you did it. captured the small details of the song very very good, especially in the "guitar solo" part. Amazing!

My Nan (Grandmother) was the one that installed my love for the piano... I was 2-3 years old and watching her turn this living room furniture (usually silent) into this massive power house instrument. She played like you but you do outshine her performance. My nan was never allowed enjoyment from her parents upbringing!!! She learned the piano much later in life but became a true pro... I loved hearing this amazing instrument being played the way it should. New Subscriber here 😉👍❤💯
The first time I heard this I cried. When I was 13 my parents were offered help me to attend the Royal Conservatory of music in Toronto. We were very poor and it never happened. Life got in the way of my passion. I used to watch Liberace on a old black and white and dreamed about playing like him. I am now 76 and have gone back to my passion on a very cheap Casio. I am hopefully going back to work to hopefully buy a Yamaha YC88. I will never return to the skill I had at 13 but if I get back to 25% I will be able to die a happy man. I still can feel the passion that this lady felt when playing this beautiful song. If you read this and have a passion for music I pray that life no matter how good or bad it is does not rob you of something that NO One Can TAKE FROM YOU. GOD bless you in your journey.

I believe that the original artists should be sent her videos and her version doing each song justice. I know that not possible in all cases but every single band would love and appreciate her passion and her take of the song. That's just my thoughts, anyone else agree?

Passion at its height, this pianist is amazing! This isn't someone playing along with a song. She takes a piece of music written for four or five different voices or instruments and completely rewrites and arranges the music for piano and produces something perfect every time she plays. This young lady is a musical genius! I've played bass professionally and many other instruments for over 50 years I recognise talent. Gamazda is in a league of her own!
Viewed this piece again. This is a classy shot, the white empty room contrasting with your elegant black dress. Music evokes the image of a Harrier jet - you're dressed up and flying off somewhere.

I find this song one of the most touching. In my opinion, the expression in guitar solos is extremely difficult to translate into the sound of the piano. This is a very daring, brave and without any doubts successful performance. It is also a real pleasure both, to listen and to watch you perform this wonderful song. ❤️❤️❤️

I never in my life have heard such a talent on piano. By far the most respected instruments on the planet. To play a song where the melody, the lead, the vocals are being done all at one time and by memory without reading it has to be one of the hardest things to do as a human. There is a point where talent surpasses all the hard work and carries the work into greatness. This is the highest level of performing there is. If there is a level higher than this and done better than this by a single person I am not aware it exists. Alexandra you are one of the most talented people on Earth. I hope you always play everything you wish to play better than anyone else as you do. Thank you for having the passion to play the way you do. I will continue to enjoy every second of it. I've been a Scorpions fan since the late 70's. I am now a Gamazda fan. You brought out parts of this song that get lost in other recordings. It illuminates what great song writers Rudolf Schenker and Klaus Meine are and what a talented musician you are. I look forward to listening to many more Gamazda videos.
