here's a better hack for the soda straw - if you open it normally and then simply rotate the tab so the tab's hole lines up with the mouth of the can, you can put your straw straight through and the tab keeps it in place. cheers!
you are too gentle with your ratings, some of these are not only bad but also completely pointless. like that food roller, it's literally easier to just roll it yourself
She gave a 1 to something because she didn’t like the taste and a 7 to something that didn’t work. She’s not too gentle, the ratings in this video don’t make sense. 🤷♀️
I think the same thing about the whisk. I understand you’re rating the products but a regular whisk works fine for what your mixing. Some of these gadgets are so confusing that it makes fairly easy things become more difficult! And you have to waste time and money! “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”!
@@yngclothing or perhaps, some people dont want to be too mean about a real person who put their effort and energy into trying to create and sell something different.
@@wopezstarz so why give a 1 to something that was everything it said it was and then a 7 to something that didn’t work? Your logic would make sense, if that’s what was happening. The best thing about her other videos, is she’s honest, not pandering like you say she is. This didn’t make sense.
10:06 if I remember correctly, you open the can like you normally do, then turn the tab around until it’s on the opening, and place the straw in the little hole that’s usually in the tab.
I’m a bit confused at a part in the middle from 5:15 to 6:17 with the s’mores and licorice because they seem like they’re supposed to be a part of a different video since they don’t really have much to do with gadgets. Otherwise though it’s a very entertaining video!
When you whisk you go back and forth or from side to side not around the bowl in a circle. You use sheer force to increase the effectiveness/efficiency of the whisk
For the whisk, put your hands together like you are about to clap. Have the whisk between your hands and move your hands backwards and forwards. This effectively turns the whisk into a hand-powered beater. I've done this with a standard whisk for years. With the device you're testing, this should accentuate the aeration in your cream and the whipping of the tea in the matcha. If you haven't done it already, try some Dutch or other European salted liquorice. It's an acquired taste, but Europeans love it. So do I. For the soda can, open it normally, spin the ringpull around 180 degrees, and put the straw through the hole in it.
Whipping cream is harder the colder the cream is. If you're going to whip cream by hand, take it out of the fridge a little while before you're going to whip it and it will go much smoother.
9:45 Yeah.. Um that's not how you do that. You're supposed to pop the can open then turn the tab till it covers the opening then put the straw through the hole of the tab.
The Dolmer is not meant for sushi or other rigid outer skins, it's meant for cabbage rolls and grape leave rolls. You're using it wrong, otherwise it works perfectly well, once you get the hang of it.
With the food roller you have to divide the sushi roll in 6 pieces. By dividing it in half and then dividing each half in 3 pieces.. then it works perfectly.. Met de food roller moet je de sushi rol in 6 stukken verdelen. Door hem door de helft te verdelen en dan elke helft in 3 stuken te verdelen.. dan werkt hij perfect..
4:41 Honeysuckle that is a shotgunning device! You are meant to put the new hole in your mouth and open it then chug it all down. This a party gadget not kitchen at all
Shoutout to Dzung using a Munchkin weaning spoon to measure her matcha - makes me feel less alone for still using kids plastic spoons years later. haha
I’ve had a plastic cheese knife from Pampered Chef for over 10 years and I use it for so many other things. Nothing sticks to it. It was super-cheap 10 years ago. Don’t know if they still sell it. Haven’t been involved with them for years now. Almost all the gadgets I’ve gotten from them over the years still work and I still use them (except for the zoodle maker which is totally annoying and a slicer gadget that never worked well.) Some gadgets work really well and were totally worth the money and the time it takes to use them. Most stuff I do with a good knife or a food processor.
OHHHH lord, as a New Zealander who loves both red and black liquorice, I was so excited to try twizzlers and red vines but YA'LL, guys, come on now, your eating cable. its so rank lol. Goggle nz red liquorice, you want either fabulicious or RJ'S. THAT IS THE STUFF. Trust me lol
I LOVE red licorice (even though it’s not really licorice but I call it that)! Not Twizzlers, those are awful. Only Red Vines in my house 😂. We like cherry-flavored cable!
I love your videos but when putting two devices, like whisks head to head, I think you should choose one more similar, the metal one was too short, at the very least measure the same amounts of whipped cream and use each whisk seperate to whip seperate bowls of cream and time it or something.
I absolutely hate when people, especially food people call that red candy stuff "licorice" it is not, has never been, and well never be licorice. Licorice is a very specific thing, and that nasty stuff is NOT it.
Calling Twizzlers 'liquorice" is an insult to all liquorice. I was so excited to try some but it is probably the closest thing to eating plastic that I've ever encountered. Horribly artificial tasting too. In Australia we have Darrell Lea and they make lovely liquorice.
May I ask a really stupid question? What are the differences between the two channels? No shade, I love your videos-I only just subscribed but I've seen your shorts for months when I doomscroll TH-cam shorts.

I'm not sure if it's just because I'm not from the USA but her voice sounds like it should belong to a child. All the gadgets she tested would be rated as a zero if it were me.
Love your content it's fun to watch, but like some others have said the ratings seem a bit wishy washy. 7/10 for the roller? 8/10 for the scooper? The real estate alone that they take up for single purpose application is garbage but I can't decide which is worse. A roller that doesn't roll or a scooper to have on hand just to put down the knife and use then have to wash rather than go back for the second scoop with the knife. The scooper at least you could argue gives some safety to those with disability or shaking hands opposed to the knife but even then, it's not reinventing the wheel and you can just scrape off a plastic cutting mat instead.
Is this video to upset real chefs? Almost every comparison I’ve seen you do, you do differently with each item. Like the whisks you slid the metal one side to side and the plastic you actually whisked, in small ovals and were shocked you got different results. Drives me nuts. 😂😂😂

2:52 the food roller is a “sarma”machine which is turkish food you should try it like that but it still is a little funky to use

4:55 you need to open the top so that the liquids can get replaced by air if you don’t open it then it will be stuck in the can
