- I got to walk thru the Bull Shad factory and I was SHOCKED but all these perfect swimbaits. Epic paint jobs, glide baits, diving lures, and tons of history. @BullShadSwimbaits Mike Bucca gave me an inside tour of his shop.

I’m so glad Bullshad opened back up to the public! I went on opening day and scored a ridiculous amount of baits, met Mike, Jennifer, Kevin, and the rest of the crew. Then I had to go back for more 4 days later! Mike not only remembered my name, but what city I was from and where I fished. I was shocked. He talked to so many people opening day, but somehow remembered the specifics of our brief conversation. That was really cool to me. They are such great people. I’m already looking forward to my next trip!

I was able to swing by the shop a little over a year ago when I was in Atlanta for 5 weeks for work training. Got to meet Jen and she was awesome! Helped me out a bunch with deciding what I wanted lol. There was sooooo much to choose from at the shop in person.

Mike's cool as hell! Met him when he came down and fished Headwaters last December. Man will literally stop what he's doing, look you in your eye, and talk to you with full attention for whoever long you want to talk! Speaking of Shad Glides and Jen, just bought a custom painted Shad Glide from the drop last night!

Love the historical side that he talks about! Makes it really interesting. His story of west coast makers not covering the southern baits, such as the gizzard shad, leading his company to be one of the bait makers jumping in to cover that sector. Speaks volumes to his tenacity, and willingness to assume the financial risk involved. Great story in your video, Mikey!!
I thought so too man a lot of times we just slang the baits but knowing the face and history behind them adds so much more!
