HOW TO: Rejet a dirtbike carb KEIHIN XR650R

Here's a quick how to on rejetting your carb on a lot of dirtbikes but specifically on a XR650R. This is Keihin piston valve carb off a 2001 XR650R. See my other video on how to rebuild it. It's not that hard and hopefully you can do it too!

Ive yet to pull my carb to look but my carb surges at low RPM constant throttle (or even at slight deceleration - would that mean i'm running too rich? at about 1200 ft uncorked, drilled out stock pipe.
Thx for the vid -i'll open the carb up as soon as I get some free time.

bud my 01 xr650r it wont even run past half throttle with 175 main it just cuts out I have like 185 or 188 without 185 or 188 I cant get full throttle it just cuts out starving for fuel

It's when you modify the airbox. Makes quite the difference.
