    Laptop? How about a desktop on your Next Lan Party?
    For this build, I am mostly using "Used" components I got for a bargain!

    ARGB Test (Jonsbo Aura Controller): 12:44
    Complete Build: 16:37
    Step on it Test? 18:51
    Specification:
    Intel i7-4790k with ID Cooling IS-50 HS (InWin Sirius Loop Fan)
    Asus z97m-plus Motherboard
    32GB Kingston DDR3 Ram with Jonsbo NC3 heatsink (ARGB)
    Intel 660p 512gb nvme SSD with Jonsbo heatsink
    RX 580 4gb OEM (Yes, I will replace this once I get a good ITX card)
    400W SFX PSU (SF400 model)
    Phanteks Neon ARGB Led Strips
    With USB Wifi and Bluetooth Dongle.
    Case:
    TuffCase 400
    Technically, it can survive drop (But not probably the LCD) and even submerging in water because the Tuffcase 400 is made for that.
    No Drilling has been done in the Case.

    Nice build. What are the running temps for the processor and vrm in this setup?

    • @sjbox
      @sjbox  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      VRM seems fine, but the CPU is really hot. (not that its always 100% Load) but on a CPU stress test i can reach 90-100 C which is really bad..
      But considering i7-4790k has a reputation of reaching that temp even on good Cooler, this is not that bad.. on normal games Its about 80-90C.
      I will be replacing the Fan with some industrial and presssure fan like Arctic P12, Delta and Sanyo Server fans..
      I already have them here, just need to make a good benchmark video soon.

    • @sjbox
      @sjbox  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a Panel that you put in the 5.25" slot on old Desktop case.
      it can control fans and has temp probe so you can also check Temps and alarm if it reach a certain threshold you set

    • @sjbox
      @sjbox  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I could, you can put it horizontally but you may need to mount the PSU sideways. with that you probably wont be able to put an LCD panel because the PSU is too high.
      Else you can use an SFF PSU

    • @sjbox
      @sjbox  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      should be allowed as "hand carry luggage" but make sure of the Size Requirement of your Airline first. there is no "liquid" inside that is why I didn't use water cooling because Airlines wont allow it then.
