Bought the NH872 after seeing Novice. Charles Briscoe noted the key way was off by approximately 1 width. Advanced the timing that much, what a difference. Runs closer to my 372 x-torque now. Want to see your thoughts on this saw with the big bore.
Neotec makes a good solid clone! And, even better yet, the customer service is supper good! I prefer the stihl clones over the Husqvarna clones! (This is true for both large clone companies)They have held up better for me milling and logging! I truly love the oem Husqvarnas, so it's not a brand thing! The NH872 with the big bore would make a good combination, sir! Awesome power! I think 🤔 the timing issues are truly getting sorted out with the husky Neotec clones. Several people have been working on it. Just bought a fully refurbished 066 with Hyway big bore and pop-up piston, Advanced timing, dual port muffler for about $750. Was that a good deal? OEM serial number too 👍
Basically, it's the same except more power = more room to hurt yourself! Ie larger kickbacks, heavier so more room for Fatigue and and Accidentally cutting yourself! Respect 🙏 the power and mass! You will get use to it and then it will start to feel 2nd nature! Then be more careful lol because that's when you get hurt, brother! It's easy to get complacent And make a mistake! You have a awesome saw 👀
