I thought this was OoE original but no, it had a long history huh. Guess I never realized because the tone of OoE version is quite different from the others.
That's why i love old Sega and Konami games from that era, Nintendo might have had the more realistic sound quality with their SNES samples and such, but that classic, punchy Genesis bass sound is just badass when used properly.
Tower of Dolls is such an underrated track in the series. I love all it’s versions, but I think the first one is still my favorite and I can’t really pinpoint why.
When you only learn of the original stage long after hearing this song in Ecclesia and Judgment and realize they meant dolls as actual toy dolls rather than as a metaphor for Automatons and Golem.
I think this track could easily be in a James Bond movie. It has that vibe. The version I listened for very first time was the Roland SC-55. My favorites are this one and the PSX.
@@davidsterling7570 Heart of Fire in AoS is considered Heart of Fire(named in the game as such even) despite it being a combination of:- a) Heart of Fire b) Dont Wait until the Night c) an original composition to bridge a and b
@@davidsterling7570 Well, you mentioned >the track in DoS only uses part of the melody and only for the first half. It's mostly an original composition. So, I was just using Julius's theme as a counterpoint of a song that is a mishmash of 3 songs yet is mostly known as the first 1. In other words, Julius's theme, Heart of Fire ""uses part of the melody and only for the first half"
Chronicles is the best. It genuinely has epic soundtrack. Vampire Killer fooling the player into thinking that the music is kinda like "the G fell of the GRAVEYARD sign", and then the second stage... Epic. Also VK is so fire
Everyone here talking about how This track is underrated while the true Underrated track from X68000 is, In My Opinion, Thrashard In The Cave. There's four versions if you count the three in X68000 plus the Remix in CV Chronicles.
Technically speaking, Prologue from Symphony of the Night would also count It's kind of like a weird mash between Thrashard in the Cave and The Den, but it carries more of Thrashard's elements
As much as I like Dracula's Tears, a video about it is probably out of question, since it has never been remixed in the series (apart from the mobile ver. of DoS). I plan to make videos of songs that have at least 4 different versions of it. I hope you understand, but thank you for your suggestion nonetheless.
Wow, I also thought the Ecclesia one was the original. It's funky and fits really well with the game. The other versions are so different, I can't say I like them in comparison.
Personal fan of Judgment with the step ups and downs with the harp give the response much more legato feel to it to add a nice piece of serenity to an already intense main line
chronicles' version just absolutely slams my ears. same thing with the arranged versions of bloody tears and simon's theme as well, chronicles' versions of these songs suffer from an orchestral overload.
Hello there. I don't know of which remix you're talking about, but most likely it's not here because I only count official remixes in the games' OSTs (although not any official album). Can you tell me more about this?

Why the castle have a Tower with Toys? Because:
Dracula: “We painted this room. We made these toys. It’s our boy, Lisa.”
That's actually quite sad, given that family's history...
Wow is sad
cleverrrrrr :D
Oh god that would be so fucked if that was true...
;_;
I thought this was OoE original but no, it had a long history huh. Guess I never realized because the tone of OoE version is quite different from the others.
OoE is my favorite and the first I heard; my mind was blown when I heard the Chronicles version later
Listen to the bass of the OoE version, damn it's smooth, and the main synthesizer is also great.
I think Order of Ecclesia's version is my favorite as well!
The PSX version is so loud when i playing this at 3am that it startled me
I think I like the original version the most, just because the base has that punchy metallic sound
That's why i love old Sega and Konami games from that era, Nintendo might have had the more realistic sound quality with their SNES samples and such, but that classic, punchy Genesis bass sound is just badass when used properly.
It's good but it drones on a bit, honestly wish there was more to compare it too I'm surprised it got reused so little in future Castlevanias
4:22 Tower of Dolls: Guile Version
Tower of Dolls goes with everything edition
Guile's rival theme
after that tower, you become family man

Really underrated track IMO, and consiedering that for the longest time it was only heard on the Sharp Castlevania games it’s understandable.
X68000 Castlevania is such an underrated gem.
Ufff man, order of ecclesia version is so good
Gotta say my favorite is the judgement mix
I think this track could easily be in a James Bond movie. It has that vibe. The version I listened for very first time was the Roland SC-55. My favorites are this one and the PSX.
06:36 Its showtime
Roland cm64 version for me just that extra touch of faithfulness to the era
There is also a version of this song in Dawn of Sorrow called “A Fleeting Respite”. It’s really good too
Weird that it was omitted
I wouldn't go that far; the track in DoS only uses part of the melody and only for the first half. It's mostly an original composition.

Anyone here from the new Seal of the Eclipse fangame announcement?
Yes
Same.
Sota Fujimori's will always be more legendary. It gives a very orchestral epic feel into it.

Моя любимая мелодия во всей серии ❤
Automaton z27x : Let's play
At 2:10 watch out here comes the flying Annabelle's
Just the other day I was looking for the diferent versions of this song, thanks for making my life easier
I just played Castlevania Revamped and this one was my favourite
god DAMN the chronicles version goes hard
I think I'm one of the few people who loves all the remixes, they just all have such a unique sound to them.

Man i wish this was in cotm with those dolls and bloody swords. Would have been perfect.
Who else wants to live in another dimension were they play VGM in night clubs?
At 2:10 I'm dancing with Morrigan from Darkstalkers!
Chronicles' version just absolutely slams all the other versions completely out of the water.
Seriously, that version is just...
^__^ Mmmm!!
It's my favorite song from the game for a reason!
Order Of Ecclesia is MAGNIFIQUE too..!! (*3*)
Order of Ecclesia is objectibly better mate

Ooe>all
It's a tie between the original and the sc-55 version for me
Fuckyeah
Everyone who says that OOE's version of this song is the best CLEARLY hasn't heard the version from Chronicles.
I've heard Chronicles version. OOE is still better.
@@Nementame It lacks the 'epic' feeling that Chronicles has. OOE's variant sounds more like it wants to be mystical/adventurous.
@@iamvoiceover Well, it's ALSO the clock tower BGM of OOE. And the way it's done in that game reflects that.
cuz i like smooth disco more than epic orchestral.
