I remember unlocking Cross Your Heart from Castlevania Rondo of Blood in Castlevania The Dracula X Chronicles and then using it for the clock tower stage. It was really awesome.
Funny enough I recently ordered the UMD of that game for my PSP I bought the other day

Portrait of ruin is probably my favorite, it fits so well.
Then again, maybe I'm just a sucker for rainy levels

I wanna cry, lmao. I've been trying to know the name of this bgm for two years or more. When I discovered the Konami Puzzle Collection, this bgm was included and I liked it so much, but I couldn't find it, no matter how hard I tried, because I didn't even know from which game it originally came. And so I found a Castlevania arranged album and I found a particular theme, YES, IT WAS THE ONE I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! But since the entire album has only Japanese names, I copied the name of the track and searched it on YT. So, it's called "Cross Your Heart"... And now I'm here finally enjoying this BGM again.
There a re quite a few translations, Cross Your Heart, Crucifix Held Close, Cross on the Breast, this song is very elusive

@@caedavch.9883 It doesn't, you can change what songs play for all stages and boss fights in the game, the default music for his first and second forms in Harmony of Despair is a remix of Order of the Demon from Order of Ecclesia, while the the default track for his third form is the version of Dance of Illusions that's in DXC.

This track hits so hard, because despite this track being for another kind of stage, it was perfect for the Dark Academy. My favorite of all of them.
I wished smash had remixed the version of Portrait of Ruin instead of Rondo, but it was a great remix ...

This song brings back many rage quits at the arcade. Seriously though, haunted castle was hard as balls.

About 15 years ago, I remember watching a Haunted Castle gameplay, of course I didn't know the game's name since it's just not Castlevania, today, now I know which game was that gameplay from, thank you.
You technically forgot one version. Akumajo Dracula Medley from Pop'n Music and Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3.
Although it was a medley mixing both Cross Your Heart and Bloody Tears

I need your help. I’m trying to identify a song in a video and I’m completely sure it has a part of this song, but it isn’t any of these versions. Has the first part of the song appeared on other castlevania songs? I’m sure it did, but I can’t remember in which game it was
I remember 2 instances in which this song appeared: one is from the OST Remix of Haunted Castle and the other one from a Konami rhythm game (along with bloody tears and one other song).

The Smash and Arcade remixes are pretty much “Christian Rock”. Fitting, considering the devoutness of the Belmont clan, with the Vampire Killer in one hand, and a crucifix or rosary in the other held, well, across their hearts.
Hell, if they had done a game for the 1999 demon castle war, that’s how I’d imagine Julius would appear on the cover art, eyes closed, praying to God to give him the strength to end their 900-year blood feud against Dracula.
Dracula X Chronicles has a pretty good version.

Dracula X Chronicles' Cross your Heart is literally the same song present in the files of Rondo of Blood (which went unused), which is the one in the video.

it is not. it was available across western countries. it was notoriously difficult to get as much money from gamers trying to complete the game.
