What an inspirational episode, I love this guest and admire his joy in helping those who may not otherwise have had such deep and transformative help. Beautiful soul. Something about that drum beat with sharing our story in mythical form is so moving, a sincere thank you!

This is a beautiful example of how to reach young people, or for that matter anyone, with the power of storytelling, listening, and response. To me, this also powerfully utilizes ‘call and response,’ that age old vocalized/drummified 🥁, form of communication that resonates down to our roots! Thank you TJL and Mr. Scruggs.

This conversation/interview is like hope in action. Listening, creating, allowing and understanding. So much to learn from what was said in this discussion on myth/storytelling.

This enlightened conversation so generously opened my eyes to layers of more perspectives, and deepened my compassion for our common humanity. Much gratitude.

I loved this episode! I've got a notion to offer a name to kwame, and of course to lisa, deb, and joseph too. Kyle kingsbury. Would love to see if anything came of talk between any and\ or all of these beautiful people. Thanks for all the resources and the warm fuzzies everone!

One of my favorites of late. What Kwame Scruggs does is above and beyond. We need so much more of this paradigm for healing on the streets and in the schools. Inspirational!

He’s bringing the song back to life, and therefore it is enlivening us.

❤ Here is an idea for Kwame-
What about contacting Sounds True to record Kwame reciting myths and playing his drum?
See if you can speak with Tammy directly for an interview! (Tammy does the interviews and introductions on all of the Sounds True audios)
Maybe there would be a way for Kwame to incorporate this into his fundraising….?😮

If Kwame ever brought Alchemy Inc. or anything remotely similar to it to Pittsburgh, I would quit my job in a heartbeat and do anything to get on board with helping to run it.

Is this lack of hits just showing the YT demographic??? As always the gold is on plain view ...but recognised only by a minority!!!!!
