I really like this reboot of the two seat T-Bird.
At the time it was introduced there was some criticism of the retro style. But, I think that Jay Mays "reverse wedge design has held up very nicely.
The big issue that I had with the car was the instrument panel. It is pretty much a direct swap in of the Lincoln LS instrument panel, with the exception of the color keyed Thunderbird specific gingerbread. At the time, that was a turn off to buyers who were familiar with the Lincoln LS upon which the Thunderbird chassis was based on.

Good luck with finding a part if it craps out. Ford has designated many of them “ obsolete” so you’ll need a buddy with a junk yard to keep it on the road. I’ve got a 2003 version and it’s a huge problem for me now.

It's truly a shame that Ford didn't put better engineering into the 11th Generation Thunderbird. 1 The Radio ( Notoriously)is a complete disaster.
A 6CD Changer was never meant to be in a vehicle moving down the road at 70mph what a bust.
2 ... Coil problems ( Notoriously)
Both should have been recalls. But nope Ford just duped you as the buyer because you fell sucker to the looks.
I have an 05 ... I bought 2019 , have put about 1800 miles on it .
AC compressor has been replaced .
Had rear-end parts rotting so those too replaced.
The radio is fried niw ... got it out of the dash because it would not turn on and the motherboard is burnt. Along with a schematic strip motherboard to circuit module.
Dollar into fixing exceeds the miles driven.
Yes it looks nice , and handles very well. But so do many other vehicles without the headaches.
Also had a valve go bad the same day I had the AC worked on ( facepalm )
