Offered for sale is this stunning example of the increasingly collectible Mark V Continental from Lincoln, a 1978 model with the very desirable Emilio Pucci trim package. These cars were the last hurrah for the personal luxury coupe of unrestricted proportions, and outlasted all competitors of a similar size. This was also the last year for the 460ci big block engine, with true dual exhaust and Trac-Loc Rear End. With a window sticker of over $15K in 1978, this was an extremely expensive car that would cost more than $70,000 in 2020 dollars. While the Mark Vs were very popular and had relatively high production numbers, only 3125 Emilio Pucci editions were made in 1978, making this a fairly rare example. It's finished in Metallic Silver Moondust outside, with a Black Cayman quarter top and Turbine Alloy Rims. The paint is in excellent shape and shows very well, as does the quarter top and brightwork. The inside is remarkably well preserved, with rich Dove Gray leather sporting Dark Red inserts, and special trim and carpeting particular to the Pucci Edition. This is an exceptionally fun collectible that's a joy to drive, easy to maintain, and gets noticed. It makes for enjoyable weekend cruising while watching it appreciate in value - do not miss this one!

I was a kid growing up with these luxury cars.
I never thought plush seats, refined thin steering wheels, white wall tires and pop up hiden head lights would become obsolete.
I couldn't be more wrong unfortunately.

I have such fond memories of my Grandmother's 1978 Mark V Cartier Edition. I loved that car. It was metallic baby blue with light blue leather interior. Gram was "Hot Rod Lilly" in her Lincoln :)

Always wondered why the Mark V doesn't have armrest in the back.
Sitting in the back of a Mark IV is fine and comfortable, once you get there.
Moving the front seat forward for entry and exits - like todays cars in that price range do automatically - helps.
Super ride, like my 77 Mark V with massive moon roof. 9 inch, sway bar and wheel discs can’t go wrong. Cartier clock still works. 46 years old. Truly they don’t make’m like they used to.

@@1mattbutch it's been sitting in the back yard about 5yrs. Need air suspension and paint. Apart from that it's in great condition. I miss driving it.

Don’t hold the key in the start position after the engine is on like you did in this video, you’re gonna ruin the starter motor. Let off the key as soon as the engine is started.

Classic cars such a man's thing in general: inspiring to see the enthusiastic care in your work. Small things: power innards (e.g. seats) were not new to this era or ahead of their time. Mark III also had a 3-year run.
i was 24 when this came out...and THAT'S A REAL BUMPER, GIRLS. METAL, HEAVY, PROTECTIVE...NOT THE PLASTIC BUMPERS THAT DO NOTHING TODAY BUT MAKE ALOT OF MONEY AFTER MARKET FOR THE CAR REPAIR GUYS AND THE AUTO MAKERS. My brother back in the day had the Mark VII. He got it off a lease and when he came by us all the neighborhood kids were so jealous of me. I was too young to drive but it sure looked sweet. Very comfortable and fast. If you run into a Mark VII I might have to take it. Thanks girls and Bill.

1978 Mark V is One of the best cars ever built in my opinion and I had One a few years back and plan to get another One in the near future for sure.
This was by far the best video I have ever seen on a Mark V and the sales team killed it for sure and not just because they were both as beautiful and classy as that car is but they described and showed off the car perfectly in my opinion and knew the correct facts on the car as well so good job girls! 👍

At present moment I have following cars in my private collection: Chevy Impala SS 96',Pontiac Bonneville 99'& Lincoln Town Car 95'. I was so interested of your review of Mark V with limited idition. You girls are giving me such nostalgia! I bought a '77 model in 1987 as a young adult. I loved it, and my friends called it my pimpmobile, but it had serious rust problems, so I only kept it 3 years.

Those beautifully manicured redish-pink nails capping the end of long elegant fingers, laying upon the dove-gray upholstery; those long smooth pairs of legs draped over the leather seating, coming to reside inside two pairs of elegant high-heels, nestled lazily upon the luxurious ruby-red plush pile carpeting. Bringing back the 1970s with grace and elegance.
Now, the only thing missing are two-pairs of Gloria Vanderbilt sun glasses with the fading-shade lenses and humungous frames along with a little music from Mr. Barry White playing on the sound machine.

I had a 78 with a 400m,wedgewood blue turbine wheel.I think the 77-9 is one of best looking marks.I really loved that car until some kid in a pathfinder ran a red light,TOTALED.
I miss my chrysler cordoba, was a beautiful car, comfy on long drives. I always loved those nice big cars, comfy and roomy, with lots of power.
