I own a Nissan xtrail from 2019, engine 2.0 diesel with manual transmission and four-wheel drive. I bought it to go to the mountain for skiing, which I go to almost every day during the winter. The car is great in the snow, I've never gotten stuck even though I've been in door-deep snow. Comfortable, large cabin, decent trunk. there is more room on the back bench than in a Mercedes GL. The tires on it are Bridgestone LM 80 evo. The engine has enough power. The complaint is the thin paint that is damaged by the small stones that are sprinkled on the road in winter. Stay away from CVT
Mate, thank you for this! Great video! I'm actually searching for one myself. I have two kids, so I need the space. If it can do some mild offroad-ing and manage the snow on our uncleand roads of Eastern Europe, it's great!
It is necessary to put on good winter tires for snow, for example BRIDGESTONE DMV3. They are great for snow, but on a wet highway where you drive faster, they can aquaplan. If you drive on snow and poorly cleared roads, then look for a winter tire designed for Nordic conditions and not for European ones. For example, the mentioned BRIDGESTONE or Continental Viking contact. Volkswagen's, Audi's and Skoda's haldex drive are also good. Maybe even better. they tend to jerk the car when it gets stuck because when they give power to the wheels that have friction they give it a lot and instantly. you have to be ready sometimes to brake immediately when you get out.
I have this model (Black leather interior) for the past seven years - you can turn off the start stop function. However, it automatically turns back on after shutting down the car, and turning it back on. I get about 800km with one tank (diesel for the win!). About 700km when the car is due for a service. Because it's Diesel, and I don't abuse the car, I service it every 10,000 km. I added a side step, tinted windows, weather shields, interior LEDs. I'm looking for a lift kit, but there is limited options in Australia :( I recently changed the cabin air filter, $30 filter from Amazon, rather than paying a mechanic to change it for $90.
Pozdrav, super video. ..nedavno sam kupio ovakav xtrail i razmišljam o stavljanju AT guma na njega, vidim da ti je u videu dosta visoka potrošnja (meni pokazuje ispod 6l), misliš da će mi toliko skočiti ako stavim AT gume?
@@MihaelGlavas1991 Pozdrav.
Dvoumice riješene, hvala i sretno.
Hi. I've a big familiy and would like to know how is that car trespassing a vehicle in the road when are completely full (logadge + 7 persons). Is there a turbocharger that makes it possible to make some modifications, like stage 1, at least?
Bravo. Tvoj review je razlog što sam kupio X-Trail. Pozdrav iz KG.
Odlično! Sretni Km!

Hey, it's pretty capable and also mild offroading no problems. Plenty of space for 2 kids
