My headcannon is that this is what scrapped Godwyns Theme became. You can t convince me otherwise. There is no other reason that two bosses, tucked away to the most outer part of the map actually have a theme this fire.

It's got the same motif as the Erdtree Avatar OST though, so it's not fully unique

Nope, it shares the motif of Erdtree Knights themes (Tree sentinels) which is because they are both knights protecting their lords

The Death Knights used to be Ancient Dragon cult members which Godwyn founded. Bayle is also a dragon so that's probably the connection.
