    If choosing between Gaggia Naviglio Deluxe an DeLonghi Magnifica S ECAM 22.110.B, both at the same price, what would be your choice? I like high intensity coffee with strong flavour. I also like an easy to use and mantain machine to don't loose much time in the process!

    Hello from Greece. Thank you for the review. I just bought this machine and i have to say it delivers very good espresso and milky beverages with smooth and consistent frothed milk. I have one question : if you program the cappuccino button how is it possible to reset it to factory settings?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I do not believe you can reset to factory settings. But majority of Gaggia super-automatic machines make a standard traditional Italian style cappuccino at factory settings which is appox. 1oz/30ml espresso and 4oz/120ml of steamed/frothed milk.

      Hello again. Gaggia team said that it’s possible to reset the machine by clicking at the same time on the fifth and sixth button, with the machine turned on.

    Is there a difference between selecting "coffee" button on original Naviglio, and selecting "espresso" and adding hot water (manual americano) on this Naviglio Milk?
    a complaint comment is this doesn't make americanos but this video says just add hot water to espresso. Looks like Gaggia didn't want to add another button to Milk model.
    Looks like WLL only responds to comments when first posting so if any response on difference between americano and super automatic Coffee options are appreciated. Yes, Gaggia, some people like cappuccinos but sometimes want a plain old coffee, shouldn't have to buy another machine for that.

    • @patrick7481
      @patrick7481 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got it from WLL, espresso then hot water works. But I'm getting used to auto cappuccino, they're great, you can dial in and set timing and amount.
      Funny design flaw, manual says standby is flashing red light for 30 min but mine flashes 24/7, I emailed WLL support, they said that's wrong, then admitted it's right.
      It's stupid, flashing red light should mean warning (like saying warning, warning, warning all the time it's plugged in.) I put tape with a hole for symbol over it to avoid annoying flashing. Also, it's unattractive, only black, but I care more about coffee which is fine.

    It looks like this shoots the espresso through way too fast, is that sped up or actual speed?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi j, Thanks for the comment. Shots from super-automatic machines do not follow same timing guidance as those from semi-autos. Brew chambers and filter screens are very different here as well as typically lower coffee doses than used in prosumer level machines.

    Does pushing steam with the frother attached allow you to manually dispense milk?
    Also, the frother looks like it’s just a normal cappuccinatori with a spout attached.

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi James, Thanks for the questions. Turning steam on with pickup tube in milk will dispense a milk froth. You are correct it is a cappuccinatore with a spout so milk slides into cup.

    My Naviglio stopped frothing milk automatically. How can I fix this issue?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kathleen, Thanks for the question. So long as the machine is making steam when in frothing mode most issues can be resolved by thoroughly cleaning the frothing components. Dried milk residue blocks components. If your machine is not making steam when requested please contact our tech support staff here: www.wholelattelove.com/pages/contact-us

    I have Gaggia naviiglio milk and I am sorry that I chose this particular model . At the moment the exclamation bottom is on when you turn on the machine . At this point I can not use the espresso machine

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi LV, Sorry you are having an issue with the machine. The Exclamation point is an error light which usually indicates something is out of place in the machine. Please make sure the brew group is inserted properly and the service door is closed. There is more troubleshooting information in the machines manual. If you do not have one here ias a link to the manual: www.gaggia.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/NEW-DFU-NAVIGLIO_EN-ES-PT.pdf
      Errors like this are in most cases easy to resolve. If oyu purchased the machine in the US or Canada you can get additional support here: support.wholelattelove.com/hc/en-us

      A lot of machines that Gaggia makes are knockoffs of Saeco. The Anima looks like the Saeco Incanto. The only machines that are completely different is the Brera and Accademia.

    I find automatic machines offensive.

    • @illiniwood
      @illiniwood 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Then you should tell everyone you know who owns a Keurig that you're offended by them owning one. I'm certain everyone you know who has one will most certainly be offended by your opinion as well. Why shouldn't companies like Gaggia offer super automatics to a society that somehow thinks a Keurig makes good coffee?? Espresso quality alone from a super-automatic (like this Gaggia) can run circles around a Keurig all day long. Automatics will always have an overpowering existence because our fast paced society demands them.

    • @gigi9467
      @gigi9467 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      illiniwood wow u went from something offensive like an automatic to complete garbash which is a keurig that doesn’t even make espresso... good comparison there. Stop being lazy buy semiautomatic.

    • @illiniwood
      @illiniwood 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gigi9467 I see you're too lazy to do your research. There's this search engine called "Google", you should try it some time. Of course Keurig makes an espresso version of their machines! Why wouldn't they? In fact they make two. The keurig Rivo and the Keurig K-cafe. However, as you can expect, neither one of them can make an espresso even close to what a Gaggia and a Jura can do. Up here we all know that a super-automatic can't come close to the quality of a semi-automatic espresso shot and froth. You know as well as I do that most people can't or don't have the time, money or simply don't have the desire to dedicate to a quality semi-automatic. A semi-automatic is anything but casual. I'm just saying that if you're not going to be or care to be an at home barista, but want espressos at home or work at least do yourself a favor and get a Gaggia or a Jura super automatic. It's a much better choice over Keurig and especially Starbucks in a bottle at your local Walmart. A super-automatic can't pull a shot or froth milk like a semi-automatic can, but it can get you better than half way there.
